Abstract: A fastening device for furniture parts includes a two-arm lever having a front lever arm and a rear lever arm mounted on a first furniture part so as to be pivotable about an axis of rotation. The front lever arm has for engagement in a holder of a second furniture part comprised of a transverse plate supported by a spacer member, wherein the transverse plate is approximately hook-shaped and is provided with an inclined contact surface located in front of the transverse plate. The spring-biased lever is mounted so as to be longitudinally displaceable to a limited extent and the front lever arm has an additional indentation for resting the lever arm on a fixed transverse axis.

Abstract: An inventive bed linen in the form of a (large) duvet cover 1a, a (small) pillow case 2a and a cover for a neck roll 3a each have functional base elements 1b, 2b, 3b with openings for inserting a duvet or a pillow. For personalization, removable decorative fabrics 1c, 2c or 3c are arranged by means of fastening means, for instance, a hook-and-loop fastener, both on the duvet cover 1a, the pillow case 2a and the neck roll cover 3a. To facilitate careful washing of the pillow case and duvet cover, the decorative fabrics 1c, 2c, 3c are detachably arranged at the functional elements 1b, 2b or 3b. In this way, the base elements 1b, 2b, 3b can be cleaned under conditions different from those of more delicate fabrics 1c, 2c, 3c which are usually made from another material.

Abstract: A detachable fastening element to fasten a panel on a front side of a display panel includes a pressing portion, a locating plate, two elastic pressing members, and two hooks. The pressing portion presses the panel on the front side of the display panel. The display panel is mounted onto a bracing seat. The locating plate is coupled with the pressing portion. The elastic pressing members and the hooks are located on the locating plate. Through the elastic pressing members, hooks and locating plate, the fastening element is clipped the bracing seat. Thereby the panel is fastened on the front side of the display panel. The elasticity provided from the elastic pressing members and hooks make installation and removing of the fastening element easier.

Abstract: A protective element for textile lashing or fixing means for lifting, fixing or lashing objects, comprising a protective layer which: is intended for arrangement between the lashing or fixing means and the respective object. The protective element allows the advantages of known protective elements to be used, but at the same time ensures improved force transmission. The intention is also to provide a lashing or fixing means which can apply the forces required for lifting, fixing or lashing an object with more uniform loading across its length. This is achieved in that the protective layer is formed from a textile backing fabric which carries a textile material at least on its surface associated with the lashing or fixing means, the textile material, owing to its shaping, its arrangement and/or its material properties, in the state abutting the lashing or fixing means having different sliding properties to the backing fabric.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a casing, a panel and at least one panel-fixing device. The panel-fixing device, which includes a receiving portion and a clipping portion, fixes the panel at the casing. The receiving portion disposed on the casing includes a plurality of positioning components. The clipping portion, which includes a hooking component, an adjusting component and a fixing plane, is movably engaged with the receiving portion. When the clipping portion is engaged with the receiving portion, the hooking component catches one of the positioning components for fixing the clipping portion. The adjusting component and the hooking portion are substantially parallel to each other. The fixing plane is substantially vertically connected to the adjusting component. When the clipping portion is engaged with the receiving portion, the fixing plane presses against the panel for fixing the panel to the casing.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for affixing, rigging or attaching objects, articles or vessels using a fabric case, two double O-ring sets and a cord with two adjustable loops each with a bead stopper or chock. The fabric case serves as a semi-rigid cladding sleeve within which the attached cord extends, making two loops, one each at the opposite ends, each with a threaded bead or chock. Using the bead, the cord loop is passed about and object and returned under two adjacent O-rings, then back over one and under the other of the same O-ring pair to secure the cord loop by means of pressure against the fabric case. In this manner, the semi-rigid fabric cladding sleeve serves as the support base for the pressure or tensioning of the double O-rings and works to fasten or rig the attached objects, articles, or vessels.

Abstract: A device for dispensing individual plastic fasteners from a continuous supply of 0.1875 inch pitch ladder stock includes a head assembly that is designed to receive the supply of ladder stock, sever an individual fastener from the supply ladder stock and eject the individual fastener during a single stroke of its actuation cycle. The device also includes a stepper motor for driving the head assembly through its actuation cycle, a DC power switching supply for regulating the power supplied to the stepper motor from an AC input power source, and a controller for collecting historical data relating to usage of the device and for regulating operation of the stepper motor. The controller is programmed to enable certain operational characteristics, such as stroke speed and mode, to be regulated through a user interface which includes a screen display and a plurality of control buttons.

Abstract: A garment comprises a signal-activated fastener, embedded in the garment, which may be utilized to fastened/unfastened the garment upon receiving a signal. Similarly, an object can be secured/released to/from the signal-activated garment upon receiving a signal. The signal may be a biometric signal generated by a biometric sensor included in the signal-activated fastener. Various biometric sensors may be utilized to generate the signal, examples of which include voice, fingerprint, retinas, and irises biometric sensors. The garment may also comprise a signal-activated fastener that can be activated upon receiving other types of signals that are not biometric. Such signals include, mechanical, electrical, optical, etc. Examples of such signals include but are not limited to sound pressure, radio waves, infrared waves, and visible light waves.

Abstract: A support structure for table machine includes a top frame unit holding a table machine, and a folding mechanism movable between an extended position to support the top frame unit in horizontal and a received position to hold the top frame unit in vertical. The folding mechanism has two first legs and two second legs and two first connecting members respectively pivoted to the top frame unit, and two second connecting members and two third connecting members pivotally coupled between the front legs and the first connecting members such that when the folding mechanism is moved toward the receiving position, the first, second and third connecting members are moved with the second legs toward the first legs smoothly.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a Cu—Sn—O alloy plating having an oxygen content of 0.3 to 50 at %, a copper content of 20 to 80 at %, and a tin content of 10 to 70 at % in the plating. The present invention provides a copper tin alloy plating that has excellent plating adhesion and disengaging force stability and particularly a Cu—Sn—O alloy plating that has a blackish color tone without containing any controlled substances.

Abstract: Antistatic agent for external use is attached to a synthetic resin material by coating or spraying, which is used in an attachment for clothes and belongings, such as a slide fastener, a button, a snap button, a hook, a strap fastener, a buckle, a swivel hook, a belt adjuster, a strap for portable goods and the like, or a component of the attachment. Alternatively, antistatic agent for internal use may be mixed in the synthetic resin material. Consequently, the attachment is provided with antistatic function, so that static electricity is discharged easily even if such an attachment is worn by a human body, thereby protecting a human body from electric shock.

Abstract: A laminated stretch cushion strap assembly having a stretchable cover, a stretchable cushion filler and a stretchable bottom or bottom fabric. The cover includes a stretchable top fabric, a first adhesive web layer positioned on one side of the top fabric and a stretchable base layer positioned on the first adhesive layer on a side opposite that of the top fabric. The stretchable bottom fabric forms with the cover an enclosure. The stretchable cushion filler is adapted to be completely enclosed within the enclosure. The stretchable cushion filler has a first cushion layer, and adhesive for securing during lamination the cover to the stretchable cushion filler, and the cushion filler to the stretchable bottom fabric. The adhesive is a second adhesive web layer positioned between the stretchable base layer and the first cushion layer to secure the cushion filler to the cover, and a third adhesive web layer positioned on the first cushion layer to secure the bottom fabric to the cushion filler.

Abstract: An applique is provided for applying to garments, and the like and other substrates for decorative effect comprising a decoratively shaped perimeter and relief pattern, a plush layer having a pre-cut periphery, and a vinyl overlay encapsulating the periphery of the pre-cut plush layer. A method for making an applique having the above characteristics is also provided utilizing a differential height die.

Abstract: A pocket handkerchief clip which is spring-biased to receive a folded handkerchief or a shaped handkerchief accessory, and is designed to fit into the front pocket of a suit coat, jacket or sport coat for displaying the handkerchief or handkerchief accessory at the top of the pocket. In a preferred embodiment the clip is attached to a lint-removing member or pad which serves to support the clip in the pocket, and the lint pad includes a retractable thread knife for removing loose threads from clothing.

Abstract: An improved gutter guard clip comprises a strip having at one end at least one tab or tine which can be bent through and under an opening of a screen member of a gutter and the opposite end can be bent over the outer flange of the gutter to hold the screen securely in place on the gutter. The strip can be made of a metal or a plastic material which can be readily bent beyond its elastic limits to retain substantially its bent shape. Modifications of the clip can be readily made by providing a hole in the gutter - overlapping portion through which a nail, screw or rivet can be inserted during the initial installation of the gutter. A method for making the gutter guard clip is also provided.

Abstract: A clip for releasably securing at least one package of the type adapted for hanging on a display bracket, the clip comprising a bayonet portion for guiding the package onto a bracket, and a securing loop that is opened and closed by means of a spring-type locking mechanism, the loop and locking mechanism being integrally formed with the bayonet portion. In one embodiment, the locking mechanism comprises a V-shaped member having its apex extending below and in close proximity to the bayonet portion when the loop is closed.

Abstract: A decorative ring-like structure includes a generally longitudinally split cylindrical sleeve having a fabric tube snuggly received thereover. The fabric tube has a length substantially greater than the circumference of the sleeve to provide a decorative pleated arrangement.
