Abstract: A safe and humane head collar for an animal includes a clasp and a head strap extending through first and second channels formed in the clasp. The head strap has a first end secured to a slip loop and a second end secured to a lead attachment. The head strap passes once through the slip loop to form a head loop for passing over a head of the animal. The safe and humane head collar also includes a nose strap extending through third and fourth channels formed in the clasp to provide a nose loop for passing over a nose of the animal, the nose strap having first and second ends terminating below the clasp. When fitted to the animal, the clasp secures a portion the first and second ends of the nose strap and a portion of the head loop below a lower jaw of the animal, and the head loop is positioned so that the slip loop is situated behind an ear of the animal.
Abstract: A seatbelt latch plate assembly includes a latch plate, a D-ring, and a pivot stop. The D-ring is pivotably connected to the latch plate. The pivot stop is disposed between and rotatably fixes the latch plate to the D-ring. The pivot stop includes a deformable element. The deformable element is deformable at a predetermined pivot torque between the D-ring and the plate.

Abstract: A quick release buckle assembly has a male portion and a female portion. The male portion is inserted into the female portion to lock the buckle assembly together. The male buckle portion is connected to a cable. Pulling the cable with sufficient force causes the male portion to release from the female portion. Several buckle assemblies can be simultaneously released if the cables are connected to a single handle. Pulling on the handle then releases all of the male portions at once.
Abstract: A strap retaining device with a flat bottom sheet member, a pair of opposing spacer members, a flat top sheet member, and a decorative member fixedly attached to the flat top member. A preferred embodiment includes the spacer members incorporate additional secondary spacers that help hold the main strap portion and folded strap portion more securely.
Abstract: The present invention provides a connector for releasable joining of two ends of material. The invention involves two generally symmetrical connector halves which engage with one another to maintain a connection capable of resisting opposing tension forces. A spring-force ball and socket arrangement is incorporated in each body half to maintain a secure connection. Rotatable interlocking tongue-and-groove structures provide ease of use and effective resistance to tension forces.
Abstract: A belt and buckle combination wherein the buckle has a female connector member on its rear side adapted to receive a male connector member attached to each end of a flexible belt. The female connector member has an irregular shaped opening with a central area large enough to receive a knob portion of each male connector, and radially extending arms of said opening that are narrow enough to retain the knob portion when there is tension on the belt.
Abstract: An improved flag-tag football device comprising a novel ball and socket coupling assembly for detachably securing a first member to a second member in environments where it is desirable to provide predetermined resistance to pull-away detachable separation of the members in use, such as, for example, in flag-tag games; the coupling including an essentially rigid female socket part internally shouldered around the open end thereof and a male ball part rendered resilient by a closed transverse slot to permit inward deformation of the ball cheeks during coupling with the socket part and then outward expansion thereof at least toward predetermined normal configuration for trapping the ball part in the socket part to resist but not prevent separation of the coupling parts by normal pull-away tension during use, when the center axes of the coupling parts are in approximate general alignment.
