Abstract: A hammock suspension device for guiding a guy rope. The device comprising a base body in which two apertures and a receptacle for inserting a retaining loop formed by the guy rope are disposed. The two apertures are on top of one another in the longitudinal direction of the hammock suspension device. The upper aperture which is oriented toward the fastening point of the guy rope displays a guide duct for introducing the guy rope into the hammock suspension device, which guide duct enables a deflection of the guy rope in this region, from approximately the longitudinal direction of the hammock suspension device to approximately the transverse direction of said hammock suspension device.
Abstract: A barrier may be configured to maintain a fixed position with respect to a seat, the barrier separating a first space from a second space, a seatbelt buckle may be configured to maintain a fixed position with respect to the barrier in the second space, the buckle includes an opening to receive a seatbelt tongue and a release button to release the tongue from the buckle, the barrier may include a slot having dimensions selected to permit passage of the tongue from the first space into the opening and prevent an object from passing through the slot to operate the release button. A force-transfer-structure, coupled between the release button and a solenoid may transfer a force exerted by the solenoid to the release button, where the buckle and force-transfer-structure maintain operational alignment therebetween. A second structure can operate the release button in event that the solenoid is inoperable.
Abstract: A belt adjustment mechanism incorporated into a belt that allows an individual to adjust the overall length of the belt, which includes a primary component and an adjustable component that slides within the primary component. Both the primary component and the adjustable component have a pair of tracks and number of holes A hook on each side of the belt adjustment mechanism is placed through tracks of both components and a hole on each of the components to temporarily place the adjustable component into a fixed position in relation to the primary component. A belt is attached to both the primary component and the adjustable component, allowing the actual waist size of the belt to be varied slightly.
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an attachment tab, and more specifically, to an interlocking key attachment tab designed to provide a structurally sound and secure attachment point for electronics covers and cases made from flexible elastomeric material, plastic or similar structural material.
Abstract: An exemplary lamp includes a first member, a second member, and buckle assemblies securing the first member on the second member. Each buckle assembly includes a connecting member having an end thereof pivotally connected to the second member, a buckle having an end thereof pivotally connected to an opposite end of the connecting member and having an opposite end thereof clasping the first member to the second member, and a knob. Each buckle assembly has a dead point. When the buckle is flapped towards the connecting member and a pivoted end between the buckle and the connecting member passes through the dead point to get close to the second member, the knob extends through the buckle. Then the knob is rotated along a predetermined direction to press on the buckle, thereby preventing the pivoted end from moving away from the second member.

Abstract: Buckle type attachment elements, such as for belts, watch bands, or the like, and/or for securing or fastening elements (e.g., for footwear, handbags, briefcases, containers, or other objects) may be produced in a manner that generates minimal waste materials, without the use of metal or mechanical hardware type connectors, from completely recyclable materials, without the need for molding, without the use of plastics, and/or without the use of adhesives or cements. Such buckle elements may include a buckle portion and a tongue portion formed from the same material. In some structures, the tongue portion may be made from a part cut out to form the buckle portion. In other structures, the tongue portion may be formed by cutting slits into a base substrate that also makes up the buckle portion. Final products and methods of making such products also are described.

Abstract: A restraint device features a section of strap, a connection member at a first end of the strap; and a freely flexible stop member of greater thickness at the second end of strap. The strap is placed in a gap between two objects which are then secured in stationary positions relative to one another. The thickness of the stop member prevents withdrawal of the strap through the gap from one side. The connection member on the other side is coupled to a body to be restrained, which is also exceeds the gap size. In use as an adult novelty restraint, the stop member flexibility limits noise if banged against a door or bed frame retaining the strap. As a vehicle rooftop load restraint using a door or window of the vehicle to retain the strap, the flexibility of the stop member limits noise and prevents damage to the window glass.
Abstract: A buckle 10 for use in securing cargo by means of a flexible cargo strap has at least one surface 16 against which the strap bears, in use. The surface 16 is abrasive, in one example. This is achieved by coating the surface in a grit material 18.
Abstract: An adjustable tarp strap assembly is described herein. The adjustable tarp strap assembly may include a buckle assembly a strap and a securing strap. The buckle assembly may include a first slot, a second slot, a tab and a catch. The tarp strap assembly may also include a hook secured to the buckle assembly. The strap may include a first end and a second end, wherein the first end may be intertwined within said slots. The securing strap may include a first aperture and a second aperture, wherein the first aperture may be engaged with the tab and the second aperture may be engaged with the catch. The securing strap may secure the strap within the buckle assembly. The strap may include a length that may be adjustable within the slots.
Abstract: A buckle assembly configured to mate with a plurality of tongues may include a rotational lever; a latch plate supported by the rotational lever and configured to move in a vertical direction when the lever rotates; a plurality of latch pins, wherein each latch pin is configured to engage the latch plate at one end of the pin and one of the plurality of tongues at the other end of the pin in order to mate the tongue with the buckle assembly; and a rotational solenoid. A core of the rotational solenoid may be connected to the rotational lever, so that rotation of the core causes the lever to rotate and the latch plate to move in a vertical direction. Each of the latch pins is configured to disengage from the corresponding tongue when the lever rotates.

Abstract: The present invention relates to straps and more particularly to straps used to hold sinks in place during and after the installation of the sink. The invention comprises a strap with attachment devices and a locking device that allows for the adjustment of the strap when the attachment devices are attached to hooks located along the edges of an opening cut for a sink. When the sink is installed into place, an end of each strap is adjusted and locked into place by the locking device.
Abstract: A child restraint assembly for a child vehicle seat includes a buckle assembly including a buckle and a pair of latches, a harness coupled to the buckle assembly, and a harness adjuster to adjust the harness. The child restraint assembly also can include a chest clip coupled to the harness. The chest clip can include a male member and a female member releasably coupled to the male member. The male member can have a pair of opposing grip surfaces of sufficient thickness to enable a user to grip the male member when decoupling the male member and the female member. The chest clip can also have a finger grip configured to grip and move the chest clip to a desired location along the harness.
Abstract: A strap fastening assembly comprises a strap and at least one fastener for fastening the strap to tie an article. The fastener comprises a fastening portion and an adjustable portion. Abstract: A belt buckle (2) has a frame-shaped buckle body (4) and a swiveling pin (24) that can be pushed through one of usually several longitudinally centered holes in the belt and locked, with the pin compressed by spring loading against a first transverse spar (10) of buckle body (4). The belt buckle is characterized in that the spring loading derives from a continuous elastomer band (28), which extends from a second transverse spar (12) of buckle body (4) at a small distance from the point of attachment of pin (24) around the pin. Such a buckle can be manufactured more easily, and thus profitably. It is functionally safer, and additionally has less danger of causing injury than a buckle equipped with a wire spring.

Abstract: A coupler for animal collars characterized by a novel combination of a releasable locking member in the form of a strip of metal which conveniently functions as a name plate. This strip is adapted to receive a pair of post members provided on a channel-like base member which in turn receives respective ends of the collar which are held on the posts until the strip member is removed. One of the posts includes a stop means and the other post is a threaded member adapted to receive a complementary threaded member disposed through spaced holes in the locking strip to effectively couple the ends of the collar together. Merely removing the threaded member from the threaded post permits quick removal of the strip from both posts.
