Abstract: A through-flow gas turbine engine includes a core comprising multiple spools rotatable about a center axis. An accessory gearbox (AGB) is drivingly engaged to the core and disposed aft of the outlet. A reduction gearbox (RGB) is drivingly engaged to the core and disposed forward of the inlet. The RGB has an RGB output to provide rotational output to a rotatable load. An electric motor is drivingly engaged to the rotatable load. An electric generator is configured to provide electrical power to the electric motor. the electric motor and the electric generator are disposed axially adjacent one another, and axially between the outlet and the AGB.

Abstract: An earless filter mask includes an inner fabric layer, a first filter layer, a second filter layer, an outer fabric layer, an elastic material, and an exhalation valve. The inner fabric layer, the first filter layer, the second filter layer, and the outer fabric layer are stacked and aligned, the elastic material is folded over an edge of the layers, and sewn together along the edge. The elastic material conforms the mask to a shape of a wearer's face and a first tapered end of the mask is removably connected to a second tapered end of the mask by a closure device that sits at the nape of the wearer's neck.

Abstract: A buckle includes a plug and a socket, the plug and the socket each being attached to a predetermined member and being capable of being connected to and disconnected from each other. The plug includes an attachment portion configured to be attached to the predetermined member and a pair of leg portions extending in the same direction from the attachment portion. An engagement portion is formed at each leg portion. Each leg portion is bent at a plurality of bending points between the attachment portion and the engagement portion in an extending direction of each leg portion. A U-shaped bridge is provided on inner side surfaces of the pair of leg portions, the inner side surfaces facing each other at vicinities of respective distal end portions of the pair of leg portions, the U-shaped bridge connecting vicinities of the respective distal end portions.

Abstract: Adjustable connectors disclosed herein are adapted to connect webbing, e.g., urethane coated webbing, to a buckle. The adjustable connector includes a baseplate, a tongue at a front end of the baseplate, a webbing aperture within the baseplate, and first and second walls extending perpendicularly from the baseplate. In certain embodiments, the adjustable connector includes a rotatable lock bar including a central portion having an outer surface and first and second tabs. In certain embodiments, a front edge of the webbing aperture comprises an arced front edge extending between side edges of the webbing aperture such that a distance between a center of the arced front edge of the webbing aperture and a back edge of the webbing aperture is greater than a respective distance between each of the ends of the arced front edge and the back edge of the webbing aperture.

Abstract: An adapter device is disclosed for removably securing a carrying strap to a guitar or other musical instrument provided with a strap mounting button. The adapter device includes a housing defining a cavity for receipt of a clamp member movably mounted to the housing. The housing has a strap stud and a threaded nut for securing the housing to the carrying musical instrument. The clamp member has an elongate slot for receipt of a shaft of the mounting button of the musical instrument. The clamp member further includes an enlarged cavity for receipt of an enlarged circular head of the mounting button to prevent the mounting button from pulling out of the slot in the clamp member. A latch member is movably mounted to the housing and movable from an unlocking position to a locking position covering the clamp member and securing the clamp member within the cavity of the housing. tab is provided on the latch member to secure the latch member in the locking position.

Abstract: A split type hanging buckle can include a main body and a connection part. Wherein a buckle base, in which a buckling cavity is formed, may be arranged on the hanging buckle main body, and an opening of the buckling cavity is divided into an inserting segment and a buckling segment that are connected with each other. A clamping neck may be formed at the position where the inserting segment is connected with the buckling segment. An aperture of the clamping neck can be equal to that of the buckling segment. At least one side of the clamping neck can be provided with an elastic clamping key. One end of an inserting shaft that can be inserted into the buckling cavity is provided with a clamping head. The diameter of the clamping head may be greater than the aperture of the buckling segment.

The reusable tie wrap includes a housing with an opening, which is configured to engage with the teeth of the strap. An attachment mechanism is located on the tie wrap, which is configured to allow for connection, disconnection and reconnection with an attachment mechanism of another device. The attachment mechanism may be a two part buckle enclosure or side-release buckle. In another embodiment, the reusable connecting device may also be coupled to an adjustable connecting device. Abstract: The invention relates to a clasp comprising an extensible buckle for a wrist strap making it possible to control the length of the wrist strap. For this purpose, the clasp comprises: a first and a second strip (10, 11) which are articulated to one another at a first end; a first tie (12a) which is arranged at a second end of the first strip (10) for connection to a first strand of the wrist strap; a second tie (13) which is arranged at a second end of the second strip (11) for connection to a second strand of the wrist strap; and means for displacing the second tie (13) with respect to the end of the second strip (11) in a manner to adjust the length of the wrist strap. The second tie (13) is connected to a cradle (16) which is arranged in a housing (17) located on the second strip (10). The housing (17) comprises two opposite walls (18, 18?) along which the cradle (16) can slide.

Abstract: A cable holder is provided with an attachment portion to be attached to a strap retainer of a portable device, and a holder plate portion having a plurality of supporting projections. The attachment portion is provided with at least one claw to engage with the strap retainer. The claw elastically deforms for attaching/detaching the cable holder. A cable hole for inserting the cable is formed between two contiguous supporting projections. The cable is threaded in the cable hole between the supporting projections. With friction between the supporting projections and the cable, the cable is prevented from being unplugged.

Abstract: An identification badge is connected to a lanyard using at least two connectors. One of the connectors securely connects a fixture which clasps the identification badge to a buckle. The other connector securely connects the buckle to the lanyard. The connectors are configured to position the badge flat on the shirt or blouse of the wearer so that the visibility of the badge is maximized. The size of the connectors is maintained small. Furthermore, assembly of a lanyard, badge, and buckle combination is made more efficient by making the connectors quick-connect.

Abstract: A novel tire chain tightener for interconnecting opposed end links of a perimeter chain of a tire chain mounted on a tire includes an arcuate handle member including a free end and a lug end, the lug end being pivotally connected to an end link of the perimeter chain with the free end being insertable into an opposite end link of the perimeter chain and movable therethrough to draw up the perimeter chain into a locked position. The handle member is dimensioned for gripping by all of the fingers of an individual's hand and a catch is disposed adjacent the lug end for receiving and holding the opposite end link in a locked position. Additionally, the lug end is provided with an eyelet for pivotally receiving the end link with the catch including a notch having a circular portion configured for nesting the opposite end link in the locked position.
