Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for a fastening device for selectively securing an accessory, such as gloves. The fastening device may include an upper clamping member, a lower clamping member, and a biasing member manufactured as a single integral component. The upper clamping member may pivot with respect to the lower clamping member about a pin passing through pivot apertures formed in the clamping members. The biasing member may maintain the accessory clamping formed by the clamping members in a closed, clamped position. The accessory clamp may be configured to selectively secure any of a wide variety of accessories. In various embodiments, the fastening device may include an integral belt clip for selectively securing the fastening device, and a clamped accessory, to a belt or other clippable item, such pants or a jacket.

Abstract: A camera system is configured to detachably couple to a camera mount, which in turn can be attached to an apparatus. The camera mount is a spring clamp including two arms, each include a handle component and a jaw component. The spring clamp can be attached to an apparatus when the two jaw components are closed around the apparatus. A strap is adjustably coupled to the spring clamp and is tightened around the apparatus to further secure the apparatus. In some cases, a flexible neck is fastened to the camera mount, and the camera system is detachably coupled to the flexible neck. This allows a mounted camera system to be situated at any desired angle for taking photographs.

Abstract: A garment-hanging accessory includes a strip of material having a first end and a second end; and a clip having an engaging end biased into a normally closed position and openable upon application of pressure upon opposing levers at an opposite end of the clip, the levers connected by a spring secured about a fulcrum point between the levers, each end of the strip of material secured to a respective opposite side of each of the opposing levers, opposite ends of each lever, not secured to either of the ends of the strip of material, co-acting to define a garment engaging end when the clip is in its normally closed position. The unsecured portion of the strip opposite the clip is suspended upon a primary garment hanger.

Abstract: A protective assembly for an above ground swimming pool includes a pool cover and plural clips for securing the cover to the pool coping. The cover is fabricated from lightweight, polyester, mesh material. The material has an open weave to allow sunlight and rain therethrough and allow complete circulation and filtration of pool water. However, the weave is of a gauge small enough to prevent debris from trees, insects, animals and the like from coming in contact with the water in the pool. Unique clips are provided so that the cover can be easily mounted to and removed from the pool structure.

Abstract: A clip comprising first, second and third clamping elements which are connected together by a common biasing element. The biasing element comprises a flat plate of stainless steel which is folded to form a spring which biases a part of the first element and a part of the second element together to form a primary clamp. The biasing element also biases a part of the second element and a part of the third element together to form a secondary clamp.

Abstract: Disclosed is an exchangeable self-adjusting device for use in a belt, in which a strap is properly extended due to a slight abdominal motion, and a wearer can easily exchange the buckle to follow the fashion. The device includes a cover 10 being movable left and right, a slidable body 20 inserted into a bottom of the cover 10, and a bottom plate 30 hinged to one portion of a bottom of the body 20 by means of a hinge 32. The cover 10 includes a cover hook 12 formed at a front thereof and inserted into a buckle hook 51 provided at a rear of a buckle 50, and a leaf-spring hooking boss 11 with a hooked groove 11a formed at its center. The body 20 includes detachable bosses 21 protruded from both sides thereof, a roller fixing shaft 23 formed at a center of a bottom thereof for rotatably fixing a roller 70, and a hinge protruded from both sides of the rear thereof towards the bottom and having a hinge hole 22.

Abstract: A clip comprising first, second and third clamping elements which are connected together by a common biasing element. The biasing element comprises a flat plate of stainless steel which is folded to form a spring which biases a part of the first element and a part of the second element together to form a primary clamp. Abstract: A fastening device for the backseat of a bicycle having an actuatable fastener, a backseat, and a loaded bag is disclosed. The actuatable fastener of the fastening device includes a fixing plate, a spring and a clipping plate. The surface of the fixing plate, near to the edge thereof, is provided with a through hole each, and a pair of hook sections is provided below the fixing plate. The bottom edge of the hook section is provided with a peg hole, and the clipping plate is located between the hook sections, the bottom section of the clipping plate is provided with a peg hole, and a peg body is used to mount the fixing plate, the clipping plate and the spring into an integrated body.

Abstract: A jewelry clasp has a base with a base end and a distal end with a hook extending back over the base. A jaw is moveably mounted with respect to the base adjacent a midpoint. A retainer portion of the jaw is adapted to overlie the top of the hook adjacent the distal end. A closed space is formed between the jaw, the hook and the base to receive an eyelet. A lever portion on the end of the jaw opposite the hook is provided to move the retainer portion outwardly in order to open the clasp. Preferably, a pivot pin mounts the jaw and a spring is utilized to urge the retainer portion firmly against the hook. The hook can have a straight section engageable by the eyelet during coupling and a curved section at the top of the hook. Particular angle positioning can provide additional assistance in coupling and decoupling the eyelet, along with the positioning, curving and spacing of the tip of the jaw. Alternatively, the hook may be curved substantially throughout its length.

Abstract: An improved structure rope buckle having length adjustment capability that is comprised of a restraining base, a latch plate hinged onto the restraining base, a cramp block fitted into the two sides at the bottom end of the latch plate and capable of rotating along with the latch plate, and a torque spring installed under preloaded tension between the restraining base and the latch plate. The restraining base, the latch plate, and the cramp block are each punch formed from a single sheet of iron plate and, furthermore, the restraining base and the latch plate are sectionally aligned in a one-way teeth enmeshing arrangement. When the rope buckle of the present invention is in the normal state, the cramp block fitted into position at the bottom end of the latch plate has its teeth faces engaged against arresting blocks on the restraining base by the preloaded tension of the torque spring to thereby clutch the rope inserted between them.

Abstract: A sock clip for holding a pair of socks together through a laundry cycle to prevent the need for matching socks after the laundry cycle. The sock clip includes a pair of arms. Each of the arms has a proximal end and a distal end. Each of the distal ends has a plurality of teeth integrally attached thereto and extending away therefrom. An urging means pivotally couples together the arms together and urges the distal ends together.

Abstract: Clip has first and second elongate members, each with first and second opposing ends. The first ends of the members are in general registry, and the second ends of the members are in general registry. A pivoting spring connects the members under tension such that the members generally remain in a closed position with respect to each of their first ends and open with respect to each of their second ends. The members can be moved relative the pivoting spring such that the first ends are drawn open and the second ends are drawn to a more closed position. The first member has an attaching material thereon such that the clip can be attached to a suitable solid surface. In one case, the attaching material is non-magnetic. It may, however, be reversibly attaching, for an illustrative example, being part of a hook-and-loop material. The clip may contain advertisement or other indicia thereon.

Abstract: A double clip is comprised of outer and middle jaws pivoted together about an outer axle and biased to a closed position by a first spring. A pivoted gripping member is pivoted to the distal end of the outer jaw. An inner jaw is pivoted to the middle jaw about an inner axle and biased to a closed position by a second spring. The clip is removably attached to clothing by clipping the clothing between the inner and middle jaws. An item to be carried is removably clipped between the outer and middle jaws. The pivoted gripping member is automatically maintained in a parallel relationship with the middle jaw, regardless of the thickness of the item.

Abstract: A hair clip includes a pair of hair retaining members pivoted by a hinge portion and urged toward their closed position by a coil spring wound around a shaft. Each of the hair retaining members includes a comb-like hair retaining portion extending in one direction of the width of the hair retaining member, an outwardly curved lever portion extending in the opposite direction to the comb-like retaining portion and an inwardly protruded comb-like covering portion. The comb-like covering portions are engaged with each other when the comb-like hair retaining portions are in their closed position and are further engaged to cover the coil spring when the lever portions are pinched to approach one another against the spring force of the coil spring.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for use in child proofing a window closure. In its broadest context, the system of present invention includes a set of blinds, either vertical or horizontal, which are controlled by a first and second cord. The distal ends of these cords are kept from contacting the ground, or otherwise being in close proximity to the ground, by a clip. This clip includes a first half which is spring biased towards a second half.

Abstract: Apparatus for protecting the finish of an automobile from damage caused by opening doors of other automobiles against the automobile protected by the apparatus of the present invention. A shock cord is mounted at the most effective location on the side of an automobile by using clamping devices which are removably affixed to the lips of the front and rear wheel wells at locations which best mount the shock cord for protecting the automobile. The clamping device includes a cord holder which is both rotatable and slidable with respect to a clamping portion of the device in order to allow clamping at all locations on the wheel wells with a generally horizontal shock chord.

Abstract: A device having special utility for holding medically-related conduits in a hospital setting is disclosed. The device comprises a generally flat, flexible pad having a gripper at one end thereof. The gripper is configured so as to selectively join the pad to a bedsheet, hospital gown or the like. A tape is disposed on the pad and extends across one surface thereof. The tape is configured such that the conduits can be secured between the tape and the pad. One surface of the tape is made of a material which selectively engages the surface of the pad such that the tape may be easily removed from and secured to the pad.
