    Abstract: This invention provides several embodiments of a metal clip which is snapped onto a grid system and which anchors it through to place on a metal stud wall system. These metal clips makes it possible to erect metal studs of a housing and/or office construction without using electricity and without damaging the grid system so that the former can be removed and the ceiling of the construction does not have to be patched and/or replaced. In one embodiment of the metal clip, the metal clip has a pair of downwardly extending spaced spring sides connected together by a flat section. The spring sides are positioned over a cross metal beam and/or track. An upwardly extending clip is attached to the flat section and positioned in a fixed position for coupling of the grid system. In a second embodiment, the upwardly extending clip is made rotatable to connect to the grid system in different positions.

Each of the central openings through the three parts is joined to the outside by a lateral slit defined by a pair of lips that are forced apart by pushing the clip onto the steel member.

One of the generally C-shaped sections is dimensioned to securely grip one of the flexible hose sections and prevent easy removal thereof, while the other generally C-shaped section is dimensioned to allow easy insertion and removal from the other flexible hose, to facilitate storage and/or subsequent ready access and availability of the flexible hose sections, for use.

    Abstract: A medical clamp (14) formed from a unitary, molded plastic strip (10) folded at its midpoint (12) into a generally "C" shape. Each leg (16, 18) has a base portion (20, 24) and an angled jaws portion (22, 26). A bar (42) extends from one base portion toward the other base portion (24), where, in the assembled clamp, it interengages another bar (44). Pincer members (28, 29) at the ends of the jaw portions have teeth (30) for securing the clamp to a sheet (35) or similar support surface on the operating table. One of the pincer members includes at its rear portion facing the midpoint of the strip, a wedge-like member (84), projecting substantially transverse to the leg. The other pincer member includes a ledge portion (86) acting as a stop surface adapted to received the wedge member in sliding interference fit as the jaws are closed. The interferece fit of the ledge portion and the wedge member limits the movement of one jaw relative to the other in a direction parallel to the legs, as the jaws are closed.

    Abstract: A shackle safety keeper for keeping the threaded eye bolt of closing a U-shaped shackle from rotation of the eye bolt and ultimate disengagement of the shackle. The shackle safety keeper is a single wire continuously bent to form the disclosed keeper. This wire is bent intermediate its two ends at a bowed spring portion. This bowed spring portion has two depending shackle engagement sections extending downwardly and at right angles from the bowed spring portion. These sections are for clamping to the side edges of the U-shaped shackle adjacent the protruding eye on the shackle bolt. The lower end of each shackle engagement section has protruding angularly outward therefrom two eye reaching legs. These eye reaching legs extend from the bottom of each shackle engaging section out into registry with the eye on the protruding bolt when it has closed the shackle. The two eye reaching legs end the all wire constructed keeper with two opposed and overlapping eye piercing lugs.

After being inserted through the aperture of the perforated panel, without special tools, anchor barbs return to original shape locking behind the panel, the pull tab member extending through panel aperture to remain in front of perforated panel. When hanger removal is desired, pull tab elements attached to the anchor barbs are pulled and latched from the front of the perforated panel, causing the compacting of the anchor barb portions, they fold against the anchor body allowing anchor to exit through the panel perforation.

Each receptacle has an entrance opening formed by a portion of the upper face being spaced from the lower face by a minimum distance. The entrance opening to each receptacle has a smaller dimension than the maximum dimension of its corresponding receptacle. Each receptacle is movable, say by prying apart the upper and lower legs to increase the spacing at the entrance openings for allowing tubing to slip sideways into any one of the receptacles.

    Abstract: An improved clamp for hoses and other tubular members includes two rigid clamping members having semi-circular recesses, one or more annular wedge-shaped grooves in the recesses, and fasteners. An elastomeric insert, or a pair of inserts, has one or more ribs shaped to fit the groove or grooves. The rib height is less than the groove depth leaving an annular gap to improve the clamping action. Inserts of different thickness can be provided to accommodate hoses of different dimensions.

    Abstract: A carburetor with a number of threadedly adjustable fuel/air metering jets, rods or screws is provided with a spring metal flexible retainer clip that surrounds portions of two adjacent metering rods or screws with an interference fit to provide continuous side or lateral compressive forces on the screw threads to prevent backoff of the metering rods or screws during operation of the engine upon which the carburetor is installed due to vibration and temperature changes; the clip consisting of a continuous band of spring steel having reversely bent oppositely located end portions, one portion being formed in the shape of a hook and the other being formed more open to permit the assembly around the pair of adjacent metering rods or screws.
