Abstract: Disclosed is a two-alarm security device that will alarm if the security device is forcibly removed from an article or item without detachment by a corresponding detachment device, and the security device will cause the pedestals in a store to alarm if the article or item is passed through the pedestals with the device still attached. The two-alarm security device comprises a slider operatively movable along a stop piece and a spring-biased engagement member that is operatively moveable into the housing of the stop piece. As the slider and engagement member move from an open position to a closed position, the security device alarm is actuated. A pressure pad attached to the engagement member assists in gently, but sufficiently securing an article between the slider and engagement member. If the article is improperly removed from the security device or otherwise tampered with, the spring-biased engagement member will cause a micro-switch to alarm.

Abstract: A holding strap for wireless ear-bud style earpieces having a cylindrical or prismatic stem, includes: a pair of stem housings, each of which is constructed to form a hollow cylinder or prism having a hollow cylindrical or prismatic space to receive the cylindrical stem, wherein the hollow cylinder or prism has an inlet, an inlet rim, an outlet, and an outlet rim; a connecting strap connecting the pair of stem housings; and a strap holder for holding two places of the connecting strap. The hollow cylindrical or prismatic space is sized for the cylindrical or prismatic stem to fit in, and the stem housing is constructed so that the stem passes through the inlet, the hollow cylindrical or prismatic space and the outlet and then, the cylindrical or prismatic stem is retained in the cylindrical or prismatic space of the stem housing by a friction fit.

Abstract: A vehicle seat that can reduce manufacturing costs while increasing assembling rigidity of an elastic spring for supporting an occupant is described. A vehicle seat includes an elastic spring bridged between a front frame and a rear frame to support an occupant. A hook member is attached to a rear end portion of the elastic spring to be hooked to the rear frame. The hook member includes a hook body extending along an outer periphery of the rear frame and a projection projecting from a front edge of the hook body toward the rear frame and formed to have a width smaller than a width of the hook body. A through-hole is formed in a portion of the hook body, which is opposed to the projection. The through-hole has a width larger than a width of the projection and a length larger than a projecting length of the projection.

Abstract: An improved fastener clip for holding the end bar of a sinuous cushion-supporting spring in position on the wooden rail of an article of furniture. The clip, in its preferred form, has a base portion, a leg portion and a reentrant or reverse curved portion. The base portion and the reentrant or reverse curved portion are provided with end bar retaining means which cooperate to lock the end bar on the clip when the reentrant or reverse curved portion is wrapped on the end bar. The reentrant or reverse curved portion also has an impact receiving, upwardly extending lip adapted to receive and transmit the full force of a hammer blow, for example, whereby the reentrant or reverse curved portion is positively and effectively wrapped on the end bar while at the same time positioning the end bar retaining means in end bar locking relation to each other.
