If excessively pinching force is applied to the lug to close the gap, the upper wing is kept free from any local deformation because the rear lateral legs absorb the excessive force. The thermoplastic synthetic resin may be extrusion-molded to be a continuous blank. The blank is then cut into pull tab bodies of individual product widths. The pull tab with a flexibility and an ornamental function can be mass-produced by extrusion molding at a low cost.
