  • Patent number: 11837387
Abstract: In an attachment structure of a wiring member, the wiring member and an attaching target member are attached using a convex-shaped part, a concave-shaped part, and an elastic deformation part. When the convex-shaped part is inserted into the concave-shaped part upon receiving force toward a first direction, the elastic deformation part is elastically deformed by the force toward the first direction to fit the convex-shaped part to the concave-shaped part. When the convex-shaped part is pulled from the concave-shaped part upon receiving force toward a second direction opposite to the first direction, the elastic deformation part is elastically deformed by the force toward the second direction in a direction similar to the case of receiving the force toward the first direction, and releases the fitting state of the convex-shaped part and the concave-shaped part.

  • Patent number: 11746811
Abstract: A connector pin includes a stem extending between a head and an opposite foot. The stem includes a neck having a plurality of sections which may be planar forming edges. A retention member including a collar and arms extending therefrom is retained around said pin, the inner surface of the collar correspondingly configured to the sections and edges of the neck for a frictional fit. The pin is insertable and retained within a receiver in overlapping mats. Pockets in the receiver hold the retention member arms and prevent rotational motion of the retention member. The pin is selectively movable relative to the retention member by rotational motion by application of force to the pin sufficient to overcome the threshold level of friction holding the sections of the neck at the collar. Locking the pin is achieved when extension members of the pin foot are misaligned with the retention member arms.

Abstract: Biased blind side fasteners and related methods for temporarily securing together at least two work pieces that each define a hole through which at least a portion of the fastener may pass. Fastener embodiments include an elongate, hollow case for substantially housing a generally cylindrical collet body and a bias element for urging the collet body into the case, and at least partially housing a central rod having a proximal end linked to a proximal portion of the case by a web element and a distal end extending from the case. Such embodiments further include a translatable plunger for temporarily overcoming the urging of the bias element and causing extension of the collet body away from the case, thereby permitting insertion of a fastener into the work pieces' holes, wherein the plunger is formed to substantially translatably pass through the web element.

  • Patent number: 9966749
Abstract: An installation for extending an electrical wiring into a junction box comprises an electrical bushing including a bushing body having an outer diameter corresponding to an inner diameter of an orifice in a junction box. A bushing bore extends through the bushing. A bushing collar terminates the bushing body. Exterior bushing threads are on the bushing body adjacent to the bushing collar. In a typical junction box installation, an end connector on a flex cord may be coupled to the bushing body, for instance by threading of the end connector onto interior bushing threads in the bushing body. The electrical bushing may be inserted through and secured in an orifice in a junction box by threading a nut on the exterior bushing threads. Accordingly, the electrical bushing prevents the end connector on the flex cord from inadvertently falling from the orifice in the junction box.
