Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle door including a door shell with an outer panel (2) secured to an inner panel (3), with the inner panel having an opening therein, and with the door shell defining a hollow cavity. An interior trim module (4) is arranged to be fastened to the inner panel (3), by means of at least two fasteners (5, 9). Each fastener (5, 9) includes a first portion (5; 9) attached to the inner panel and a second portion (9; 5) attached to the interior trim module (4), or vice versa, with the first and second portions at least partially form-fitting male and female portions, respectively, extending from a flat base, so that the first and second portions are arranged for cooperation in a plane parallel to contacting surfaces of the inner panel and the interior trim module.
Abstract: A retaining arrangement for securing an object to a surface includes a retaining element which is moveable between a stowed position and a retaining position. The retaining element is substantially level with, or below, the level of the surface. The retaining element protrudes from the surface and presents at least one elongate retaining slot above the surface which is substantially parallel with the surface, into which a part of an object to be retained maybe inserted. The retaining slot is at least partially formed by a retaining surface of the retaining element, the retaining surface facing, when the retaining element is in the retaining position, in a direction having at least a component that extends towards the plane of the surface in the vicinity of the retaining element.
Abstract: A buckle devise has a sheath and bolt capable of being inserted into the sheath. The sheath includes a main body and a buckling portion extending from the main body. The buckling portion has an incline for buckling a reversing devise. A buckle devise of another embodiment has a sheath and a bolt capable of being inserted into the sheath. The sheath has a main body and a buckling portion extending from the main body. The buckling portion has a protrusion to provide the sheath for resisting thereof. Comparing to the prior art, the buckle devise can buckle a reserving devise firmly so that the reserving devise have not a shaking phenomenon unstably.
Abstract: A connecting device which has an excellent appearance, produces no frictional sound between a connecting device main body such as a swivel hook main body and a belt attaching member and can be assembled easily and securely. The connecting device includes a neck portion standing from a proximal portion of a main body of the connecting device and an engagement head which is expanded in an outward direction form a center of an axis line such that a diameter thereof can be reduced, the engagement head being provided at a front end of the neck portion. A belt attaching member is connected to the main body rotatably around the neck portion. A through hole which the engagement head can be engaged with by insertion is formed in part of the belt attaching member. In the through hole, a small-diameter hole portion having a smaller diameter than the diameter of the engagement head and a large-diameter hole portion having a large diameter than the diameter of the engagement head are connected via a stepped portion.
Abstract: An insert tongue (10) for a safety belt buckle includes an insert section (12) which is intended to be inserted into the belt buckle and a safety belt section (14) which has a slot for receiving the safety belt (5). The safety belt section (14) generally extends in the extension of the insert section (12) and the slot extends at an angle of less than 25° relative to a plane defined by the insert section (12).
Abstract: A precisely measured removable cover for reusable beverage containers with releasable closures. The cover has a flexible sheet with a graphical display imprinted on one side and a cover fastener for removably fastening the cover to a container. The sheet is advantageously adapted to substantially cover the side walls of the container. The cover fastener has one or more releasable closures, and at least one of the releasable closures includes a fluked tab interlock locking tab and slot structure, wherein the fluked tab is on one end of the cover and the slot is proximate the opposite end of the cover and parallel to the fluked tab. A cam/slot paired closure is also disclosed.
Abstract: The plastic snap buckle is provided with a safety latch slidably mounted to an elongated bar of the male plug of the buckle. The latch member is generally rectangular shape having a length equal to the distance between two arcuate portions formed in the free end portion of two flexible arms of the male plug. The latch member may be slidably to locate between the arcuate portion of the flexible arm so as to prevent the flexible arms to be operated inadvertently or forcefully to release the engagement between the male plug and the female receptacle.
Abstract: The present invention provides a connector for releasable joining of two ends of material. The invention involves two generally symmetrical connector halves which engage with one another to maintain a connection capable of resisting opposing tension forces. A spring-force ball and socket arrangement is incorporated in each body half to maintain a secure connection. Rotatable interlocking tongue-and-groove structures provide ease of use and effective resistance to tension forces.
Abstract: A retainer clip for use in assemblies held together by a latch having a resilient engagement arm. The force holding the engagement arm in the latched position is a function of the resiliency of the material of the engagement arm and the length of the unsupported portion of the engagement arm. The retainer clip attaches to a part of the assembly by holding the part between a retaining lip and an engagement side to position the retainer clip to bear against the engagement arm. The retainer clip supports the engagement arm to shorten the length of the unsupported portion of the engagement arm thereby increasing the force holding the engagement arm in the latched position.
Abstract: A plug of a twist latch is comprised of a main body, knob body and fixing plate. The main body has a shaft-bearing portion provided on a base, whose outer shape is an ellipse and having a circular hole portion inside. An upper portion of the shaft-bearing portion is a contracted diameter portion while a lower portion thereof is an expanded diameter portion. Several protruded ridge portions are provided on the expanded diameter portion to form an engaging portion. The knob body has a knob portion of an ellipse-trapezoidal shape having a shaft portion extended from a bottom face thereof. The shaft portion is divided along an axis thereof. This shaft portion is rotatably fit into the shaft-bearing portion. The fixing plate has a hole portion in which the shaft-bearing portion can be inserted, and is formed with fitting portions that can be fit onto an engaging portion, on the periphery of the hole portion. When this plug is mounted on a cloth, the shaft-bearing portion is inserted from a back side of the cloth.
Abstract: A front center opening can be opened and closed by a zip fastener. A hook assembly joins upper ends of the front center opening in a separable way and adjusts a waist size of pants within a fixed range. An adjusting cloth is sewed between one of fastener tapes of the zip fastener and an outer cloth of the front center opening. The adjusting cloth has an overlap to provide an extra length on the waist size of the pants. The hook assembly adjusts the waist size of the pants so as to fit a waist size of a user. The overlap of the adjusting cloth is extended in a specified manner so as to adjust a size of the pants corresponding to a portion lower than the waist of the user.
