Abstract: A money clip having jaws connected by a throat that provides spring action to urge the jaws together, a pair of operating levers slidably mounted respectively on the jaws, and a device that emits and receives radio waves, electromagnetic waves, light waves, sound waves, microwaves or a combination thereof and other electronic media for the purpose of transmitting and receiving wireless data from and to other base transmitters/receivers being disposed on one of the operating levers.

Abstract: A clipboard having an improved paper clamping element is disclosed. The clipboard has a planar board member with a front face, a rear face, two side edges, a top end, a bottom end and a clamping mechanism having at least one biasing element and a clamping element. The clamping element has at least one paper clamp cooperating with a holding element. The planar board member has at least one slot for penetration of the paper clamp through the planar board member from the rear face of the planar board to the front face. A writing implement holder and a carrying handle may be incorporated into the clamping mechanism.

Abstract: A clipboard has a clip with upper and lower parts joined by a hinge. The lower part includes a locking wall and spaced-apart hold-down edges. The board has at least one upstanding lock element engaged with the locking wall on the lower part of the clip. The board includes grips engaged with the hold-down edges of the lower part of the clip.

Abstract: A binding device for holding papers and other sheets of material of diverse sizes and shapes which allows the papers to be easily removed and reinserted is provided. The device includes a rigid frame with first and second lips formed on the rigid frame, a first set of teeth and a first gap formed on the second lip, and a flexible arcuate spring member. One end of the spring member is attached to the first lip. A second set of teeth and a second gap are formed at the other end of the spring member. The spring member is placed in a closed position by maneuvering the spring member to guide one of the teeth in the second set through the first gap, and to align the first and second sets of teeth.

Abstract: A dual extrusion hinged sign hanger hangs from the ceiling and holds signs, banners, posters, and any other sheet type of display material. Display material can be easily changed within a smooth non-damaging holder portion which opens for free non-friction insertion of the display material. The closure has flexible tabs on one side and a smooth flexible curved surface to hold the display material against the tabs. The closure acts perpendicularly to the display material with a snap together closure that does not come in contact with the display material.

A connection element is arranged so as to connect one ends of the first and second support element to each other therethrough, so that the first support element, second support element and connection element cooperate together to form a substantially U-shape in section. A press element is formed at a free end of the second support element in a manner to be extended from the free end through a hinge groove. The press element is inwardly bent at the hinge groove to abut at a distal end thereof against an inner surface of the first support element, so that papers or the like are inserted between the first support element and the press element, resulting in the papers or the like being firmly interposedly held by the clip.

The clamping apparatus includes a base member, an upper member pivotally attached to the base member, and a flexible sheet dispenser removably secured to the upper member. The flexible sheet dispenser includes a housing and a flexible sleeve containing one or more stacks of flexible sheets disposed within the housing. The flexible sleeve is configured to individually dispense flexible sheets from one or more stacks disposed within the flexible sleeve. The flexible sleeve comprises opposite edge portions that are engaged by retaining members in the housing such that the flexible sleeve is maintained in arcuate, face-to-face contacting relationship with the arcuate wall surface.

Abstract: A binder clip that is capable of fastening a plurality of objects together while reducing the amount of damage thereto is provided. The binder clip includes a mouth, a pair of arms and first and second contact plates. The mouth includes first and second outer edges that are biased toward one another. The pair of arms are pivotally coupled with the mouth and are used to open the mouth. The first and second contact plates may be coupled with first and second outer edges. The mouth biases the first and second plates toward each other to hold the object together. The first and second plates operate to distribute the force imposed by the mouth thereby reducing the amount of damage to the one or more objects.

Abstract: This invention discloses a method of inexpensively and reliably manufacturing a clip that has planar levers. A method for making a planar lever, which can be attached to the clamping element of a conventional binder clip, is described. Two wire members, which are bent near the end, and which each have a notched end, are inserted into a pre-formed planar member. The bend in the wire and the notched end hold the wires in place so that the lever can be attached to the clamping element. This invention also relates to a clip that has been manufactured according to the method of this invention. Finally, this invention discloses a method to make an advertising clip that can be used to hold the folded end of a collapsible tube, such as a tube of toothpaste, and a clip therefrom.

Abstract: A device for holding plastic cards and keys includes an open ring formed into a shape such that the ends of the ring are opposed to one another and includes tips at the ends. A spine is located at the base of the open ring and a jacket is attached to the spine, for covering the cards. The distance between the tips is less than the thickness of a card or a key so that it can be inserted into the device by pushing an edge of the card or the key against the tips to spread the tips apart. The card or the key is slid in between the tips to fit a tip through a hole in the card or the key to hold it on the device. Cards or keys can be inserted or extracted without a separate step of opening or closing the device.

Abstract: A directory sign assembled from individual modular sign plates, and an improved mounting clip for supporting the sign plates in assembly. The mounting clips have multiple sets of prongs spaced so that prongs of separate sets engage mounting flanges of one or more sign plates. The mounting flanges extend back from the front face of the sign plates to conceal the prongs and related attachment structure, and the end mounting clips have bases that conceal the ends of the sign plates.

The body incorporates a back portion and first and second abutment portions extending outwardly from the body portion. Free ends of the abutment portions are formed at opposing ends of the body and are configured to engage each other. Each of the fingergrips include a gripping end and a pair free ends, with the free ends being retained at respective free ends of the abutment portions. Additionally, a corner-receiving opening is formed through the back portion, with the corner-receiving opening being characterized by a width greater than the spacing of the legs of the fingergrips. So configured, the corner-receiving opening may receive therethrough a corner portion of a stack of sheets of material.

Abstract: An attractive convenient money clip made by attaching a folding cover to a conventional paper binder clip of the type having a spring steel clamp and two pivoting arms made of wire loops that fold back against the clamp for opening the clamp. This type of binder clip provides both strong clamping force and easy opening with one hand. It holds paper money, business cards, and a credit card safely and securely. The cover presents a professional appearance and a front and back external surface for logos. By using a conventional binder clip as the basis for this product, manufacturing cost is low, since only the cover is custom made.

Abstract: A frame element assembly suitable for forming the frame of a display holder, the frame element assembly having a base portion and a retaining leaf, the retaining leaf being pivotally mounted with respect to the base portion, the retaining leaf being held in a pivotal arrangement by a bow spring, the assembly being adapted such that in use the retaining leaf can pivot between an “open” position in which display material can be inserted or removed from the display holder and a “closed” position in which display material is retained within the display holder.
