Abstract: A wire wrapper including a drum configured to rotate. The drum includes one or more slits for receiving a wire. The wire wrapper further includes a motor configured to rotate the drum to wrap the wire around the drum. The wire wrapper further includes a controller configured to start and stop the motor in response to user input.
Abstract: An automatic dereeler includes a rocker arm that is movable between various positions to indicate the relative tension on a continuously supplied material. A sensor detects the rocker arm position which is transmitted to a controller. The controller actively controls a motor to either increase or decrease the resistive torque on a rotating axel that carries the continuous material.

Abstract: Methods and systems of controlling transport of film are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of controlling a supply platter motor in a no-rewind film transport system, comprises receiving take-up platter control signal information from a take-up platter controller, processing the take-up platter control signal information, and controlling the supply platter motor based at least in part on the processed take-up platter control signal information.

Abstract: When an elongate film is initially wound around a core, it is wound under a low winding tension command value T1 corresponding to the length of the core. Then, after the tension is progressively increased at a predetermined rate, the elongate film is wound while its tension is gradually lowered from a high winding tension command value T3.
Abstract: Process for winding a reel and a reel winding apparatus, as well as a measuring apparatus. The process includes determining the driving forces at the locations of the introduction of the driving force onto the reel, and determining a difference between the driving forces. The reel winding apparatus includes at least first and second drive mechanisms arranged to act on a reel to be wound, a measuring system, coupled to the at least first and second drive mechanisms, that includes a force transducer arranged in a vicinity of an introduction of force into the reel, and an evaluation device coupled to the force transducer. The measuring apparatus is provided for measuring a difference in peripheral forces between at least first and second drive elements in a reel winding device. The apparatus includes first and second contacts adapted to contact the first and second drive elements, respectively, and a transducer coupled to the first and second contacts.
Abstract: A film running device which enables the film to run stably, which as a whole is small in size, simple in construction and requires easy maintenance. A long film 1 is delivered from a delivery roll 2. A drive rotor R of the delivery roll incorporates an outer rotor-type electric motor 25M therein, and is rotated by the motor.
