  • Patent number: 9543813
Abstract: Apparatus and method for winding at least one electric wire W on a coil support (10) of a core of a dynamo electric by using a wire dispensing member (19) means (21, 25) for rotating the coil support with respect to the dispensing member (19). It is foreseen to provide a relative movement of the dispensing member (19) with respect to the coil support (10) to maintain the angular orientation constant during winding. Furthermore it is foreseen to press on a portion (WP) of wire wound on the coil support (10) where the portion of wire (WP) is located immediately adjacent to a portion of wire that still has to be wound on the coil support (10). Engaging occurs also of the wire portion (WP) wound on the coils support and that extends to the dispensing member (19) when passage from one turn to another occurs for the stratification; the engagement occurring in opposition to the direction (Z?) of stratification of the wire.

  • Patent number: 7509727
Abstract: A transformer and method of making includes first half primary and secondary windings as metallic circuits that are etched on a metallic cladding of a first liquid crystal polymer (LCP) sheet. Secondary windings are positioned in spaced relation to the primary windings. A second LCP sheet is applied over the first LCP sheet. Second half primary and secondary windings are etched as metallic circuits on a metallic cladding of a second LCP sheet. Respective first and second half primary windings are interconnected to each other and the first and second half secondary windings are connected to each other by conductive vias.

  • Patent number: 6910654
Abstract: A multi-layer coil is wound around a bobbin having a center pillar and a small and a large flanges connected to longitudinal ends of the center pillar. A winding space having a trapezoidal cross-section in a plane cut through the center axis of the bobbin is formed outside the center pillar between both flanges. To wind the multi-layer coil in this winding space, a turning position where a layer of the coil moves up to a higher layer is set by a position setter, and the turning position is automatically shifted layer by layer to form a sloped outer surface of the coil. The coil is wound in a shape fitting the trapezoidal winding space without reducing the winding speed. The space factor of the coil in the winding space is improved, making the coil compact in size.

  • Patent number: 6499689
Abstract: A wire winding apparatus produces a coil of a desired shape quickly and inexpensively. An element wire to be wound on a winding frame is supported while a predetermined tension is applied to the element wire. When the element wire is shifted from a turn to another turn during the winding of the element wire around the winding frame, the element wire is regularly aligned by utilizing the tension applied to the element wire.

  • Patent number: 6484962
Abstract: A method for producing graduated precision windings on cheeses in an open-end spinning system. The winding ratio is reduced in stages, in increasingly smaller graduations, as the cheese diameter increases during the bobbin travel of the cheese. The graduations do not exceed the value of 0.3 and are each selected such that changes in the crossing angle are within a tolerance range of less than ±0.8°, and the least number of diamonds occurring during the building of the bobbin can be completely filled. The cheeses thusly produced are distinguished by a stable construction, high density with uniform distribution of density over the entire yarn package, and excellent payout properties.
