Separating Wound Package From Peripheral Drive Drum Or Roll Patents (Class 242/485.3)
  • Patent number: 9790050
Abstract: A system for adjusting a path of a wire includes a precast pulley assembly having at least one precast pulley having at least first and second positions. The at least one precast pulley may be adjustable from the first position to the second position without a user touching the at least one precast pulley. A path of a wire is adjusted when disposed around the at least one precast pulley when it is in the second position instead of in the first position. In one embodiment, the precast pulley assembly includes first and second precast pulleys disposed in an adjacent relationship with respect to one another, wherein a wire can selectively pass over one or both of the first and second precast pulleys.

  • Patent number: 6616083
Abstract: A reel-stick arm for winding yarn with regulated pressure between the reel and its actuation roller, particularly for double-twist twisting frames, comprising automatic means for balancing the effect of weight variation of the reel being formed, means for automatic raising of the reel-stick arm, and automatic means for clamping the arm in the raised position, said raising and clamping means being co-ordinated by interlocking means.

  • Patent number: 6520441
Abstract: A winding device (1) for a textile machine producing cheeses (8), having a cheese drive mechanism (5) acting on a tube receiving plate (6), a separately driveable yam cross-winding device (10), and a support and clamping roller (9), in frictional contact with the cheese (8) during winding operation. A braking device (20) is assigned for braking the support and clamping roller (9) when the winding operation is interrupted.

  • Patent number: 6405967
Abstract: A device for pivoting a creel of a textile machine, which holds a bobbin in contact with a roller during the winding process. The creel (2) is fastened on a shaft (5) defining a pivot axis. A lifting device (9) connected with the creel (2) has a lever (10) fixed with the shaft (5) against relative rotation. An arresting element (12) seated on the shaft (5) can be alternatingly coupled to the shaft (5) or a fixed holding element (21). When the arresting element (12) is coupled with the shaft (5), potential energy is stored in an energy storage device, which is released when the connection changes from the shaft (5) to the holding element (21), whereby the lever (10) and the shaft (5) are abruptly moved toward the arresting element (12). The device makes it possible to break the contact between the cheese (1) and the drive roller (3) quickly and dependably in case of a power failure. Interference with grasping an upper yarn end, as well as damage to the yarn and yarn positioning errors, can be avoided.
