  • Publication number: 20130277488
Abstract: A hydraulically operated drain tile spool is provided having a frame assembly supporting an articulating upper and lower control arm for operably engaging, lifting, and supporting a drain tile roll from a suitable farm vehicle. The lower control arm supports a spool lower ring and a spool shaft, whereby a first hydraulic arm rotates the spool shaft between a horizontal (loading) position and a vertical (working) position. The upper control arm supports a spool upper ring and a spool shaft receiving member. A second hydraulic arm operably connects the receiving member with the vertical spool shaft to establish a cohesive spool assembly having a central shaft for supporting a drain tile roll between an upper and lower ring in a rotatable and dispensable position. The device connects to a suitable agricultural vehicle to support a drain tile roll without requiring direct contact therewith by an operator when stringing tile.

  • Publication number: 20120266661
Abstract: In a test pressurizing system for hose such as fire hose a device (10) is arranged for bearing of pressurized hose (1) in a way that it is surrounded by protective wall parts (20). Further there is provided a mechanism (40), arranged on the inside of the wall parts (20), for marking of holes and/or other damages that can be maneuvered automatically or manually via the operator so that at least some protective wall part always protects the operator under pressurization. The marking device may be combined with a device for automatic detection of holes and damages. This can for example admit marking with high precision, and/or be part of a fully automated solution for detection and marking of holes.

  • Patent number: 6802472
Abstract: A winding machine, essentially constituted by individual winding stations disposed in stages which are controlled, at the level of each stage, by an assembly of drive shafts of packages and drive shafts of fliers, the yarns being supplied by a pre-feed device for its yarns. The winding machine is transformable on site and has a device for operating the drive elements of the drive shafts of the packages, the drive shafts of the fliers, and of the pre-feed device, the yarns being possibly mounted as desired in an interchangeable manner at the two ends of the winding machine, by symmetrical end plates or flanges, with arrangement in the front, of the conveyor which passes through them.

  • Patent number: 6650820
Abstract: An optical fiber winding tool for winding a strip of optical fiber. The optical fiber winding tool having a guiding body defining a guiding recess. A fiber inlet aperture extends into the guiding recess for allowing the slideable insertion of the strip of optical fiber thereinto. The recess peripheral wall is configured and sized such that as the strip of optical fiber is inserted through the fiber inlet aperture, a recess peripheral surface abuttingly guides the optical fiber strip into a generally parabolic configuration that sweeps against the recess peripheral surface while the optical fiber winds into a coil. The optical fiber winding tool is mountable over a flat surface with the peripheral edge of the guiding recess abuttingly contacting the supporting surface. A driving assembly is optionally provided for driving the strip of fiber into the guiding recess.
