  • Patent number: 5669576
Abstract: A support spindle adapts a toilet tissue dispenser cabinet designed for use with conventional toilet tissue rolls having cores for use with coreless toilet tissue rolls. The support spindle includes a roll stop which is used to position a coreless roll at different locations on a rotatable sleeve incorporated on the support spindle. An insert positioned in the cabinet is employed to prevent premature actuation of a roll drop-down mechanism employed in the cabinet.

  • Patent number: 5667626
Abstract: A tape hub including a support portion defining a peripheral surface around an axis adapted to frictionally receive a cylindrical inner surface of a core wound with tape, and means on the tape hub for positioning a first edge of the length of tape wrapped around the core at either of two discrete tape edge positions axially with respect to the hub. The tape hub is useful on devices that adhere tape along one edge of masking material to afford selecting different amounts of overlap between the tape and the masking material. The tape hub can have a plurality of radially extending hub portions having spaces therebetween and axially extending ribs on the hub portions defining its peripheral surface with the peripheral surface being adapted to frictionally receive the cylindrical inner surface of cores of slightly different inner diameters.

  • Patent number: 5635018
Abstract: An adhesive tape seat has a main body, a push bar, a blade, a hollow adhesive tape cylinder, and a supporting strut. The supporting strut positions a rear end of the adhesive tape cylinder. The main body has fasteners at two sides of the main body. At least an outer ring which encloses the adhesive tape cylinder abuts the supporting strut. The hollow adhesive tape cylinder receives a compression spring, the first washer and a supporting rod therein. The front portion of the supporting rod is inserted through the compression spring to reach a nut. The nut covers the orifice at the front end of the adhesive tape cylinder. The rear portion of the supporting rod is inserted through the first washer, a through hole on the supporting strut and the second washer.

  • Patent number: 5517915
Abstract: In a thermal printer for performing printing on the printing surface of a tag which is drawn out from a tag roll and then held and conveyed by a platen and a line thermal head, the thermal printer comprises a thread sweeping means for sweeping away the threads which get on the printing surface of the tag and a tag guide means disposed downstream the conveying direction of the tag for bringing into contact with the side edge of the tag which is opposite to the other side edge thereof to which the threads are attached so that the threads which get on the printing surface of the tag are swept away by the thread sweeping means and the tag is conveyed in the manner that the threads do not contact the tag guide, which eventually prevents the threads from being caught by parts on the conveying route or prevents the tag from being printed on the printing surface thereof while the threads remain getting on the printing surface.

  • Patent number: 5516059
Abstract: A wire guide to control and contain electrical wire as it is pulled off a standard spool that is rotating about a spindle. The guide has side plates that rest alongside the spool and rotate about the same spindle upon which the spool turns. An adjustable spacer extends between the side plates to insure a good fit for any width spool. Adjustable length guide bars also extend between the side plates with the wire passing between the guide bars so that wire is prevented from expanding radially outward and becoming entangled.
