Abstract: A tape unit holds a tape roll that has a wound tape that is a print medium, and is adapted to be mounted in and removed from a cassette case. The tape unit is provided with a holder shaft portion and an indicator portion. The holder shaft portion is inserted into a shaft hole formed in a winding center of the tape roll and rotatably supports the tape roll. The indicator portion is disposed radially outside the tape roll which is supported by the holder shaft portion, and includes at least one hole portion and indicates a type of the tape.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for dispensing a roll of sheet material in severable portions therefrom. The apparatus comprises a housing having a rim portion longitudinally offset from a base portion by a sidewall portion extending therebetween. The base and sidewall portions define a compartment for holding the roll of sheet material, and the sidewall portion includes a longitudinally extended dispensing slot formed therethrough communicating with the compartment. The sidewall portion forms about the dispensing slot at least one tapered edge. A lid is detachably coupled to the rim portion of the housing to enclose the compartment, and includes a bottom surface portion. A pivot structure is formed on at least one of the base and bottom surface portions to pivotally engage an axial end of the roll of sheet material for angular displacement thereon.

Abstract: A dispensing machine for pre-cut wipe material wound on a reel includes a wall-mounted housing with a back panel, two side panels, a lower base panel, and a cover articulated relative to said housing by lifting the cover upwards. The back panel accommodates a module having two lateral side pieces to receive the reel of material. The dispensing machine includes a compensating lever mechanism to move the strip of pre-cut material rearwardly in close combination with lifting or lowering of the cover. The mechanism is externally located either side of the lateral side pieces in the space between the lateral side pieces and the side panels. The mechanism comprises two levers articulated together and mounting a return roller. The first lever has a uniform structure and the second lever has various components which allow Cardan-joint type articulation. The levers are linked to arms connected to the cover.

Abstract: A printer having improved operational features. The printer includes an articulating print frame assembly coupled to a top cover that is adapted to rotate out of the top cover to an open position and to rotate into the top cover to a closed position. When the print frame is in an open position, the top cover is prevented from rotating toward the bottom housing to a closed position. The printer may include at least one media support member with a media adjustment channel disposed therein, a media adjustment member slidingly disposed through each of the media adjustment channels, and a resilient member configured to apply friction between each of the media adjustment members and the corresponding media support member.

Abstract: A wipe material dispensing machine includes a housing forming a receptacle with a back plate, a horizontal lower wall, side walls, and an articulated lockable cover. The inner face of the cover has a protruding curved member. A device, articulated relative to the housing, fulfils the functions of loading, guiding and preventing creasing of the pre-cut strip of material which is pulled so that it can be removed from the forward, lower part of the machine. The device includes a raised curved element surrounding the member on the cover when the cover is closed. The element and member being concentric and leaving room for the pulled pre-cut strip of material to pass through. The pre-cut wipe material is wound on a reel or accordion pleated, and the lower part of the machine includes, at the point where the material emerges, opposite-facing limit stops.

Abstract: An apparatus for covering a rolled paper product, such as toilet paper or paper towels, to reduce the visibility of the paper roll. The apparatus comprises a base member that attaches to a surface, a guide post slidably engaged with the base member to move up and down relative thereto, a top member attached to or integral with the guide post and extending over the paper roll, a roller holder attached to or integral with the top member or guide post and a roller rotatably supported by the roller holder in rotatable engagement with the paper roll to rotate therewith. As paper is removed from the roll, the roller rotates and moves the guide post down to maintain the desired spacing between the top member and the paper roll. Preferably, fragrance material in the roller dispenses fragrance when the roller rotates in response to rotation of the paper roll.

Abstract: The disclosure herein provides a roll support system for a rolled web material dispenser which ensures that the proper rolled web material is installed in the dispenser and that the rolled web material is properly aligned in the dispenser. The system limits the size of the core or core plug that can be supported by the support in a towel dispenser. Also disclosed is a system to provide different sized roll caps and supports to ensure that the dispenser is dispensing web material which the dispenser as designed to dispense.

Abstract: An adapter for a recessed dispenser is disclosed. The adapter includes a frame configured to fit into a cavity of the dispenser. The adapter also includes a fastener for securing the frame to the dispenser. The frame includes two arms extending away from the cavity. The two arms are configured to removeably couple with a reduced-core diameter spindle. The spindle can expand/contract and is configured for use with a reduced-core roll of paper product. The adapter described herein allows for rolled product to be dispensed from an existing recessed dispenser where the rolls being dispensed have a larger outer diameter and a smaller inner core diameter than allowed by the original design of the recessed dispenser.

Abstract: A retention mechanism (40) for a dispenser for retaining an end plug (10) of an exchangeable roll of material includes an insertion slot extending between a receiving end (54) and a seating region (50) for inserting a bearing pin (22) of the end plug. The bearing pin has at least a first portion (26) with a first diameter, and a second portion (28) with a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. A pin discriminator (46) is at least at the receiving end and narrows the receiving end so only bearing pins can enter the receiving slot which have a maximum outer diameter in the second portion which equals the second diameter. A rejecting slot (48) extends from the seating region and is dimensioned so only bearing pins with a predetermined maximum diameter in the first portion which is smaller than the first diameter will enter the rejecting slot.

Abstract: A device is provided for dispensing a length of elongate material wound on the barrel of a spool. A support is provided for the spool including first and second end plates. The end plates are positioned in a spaced relationship. A support hub extends from each plate and is engaged within an opening in the spool on opposite sides thereof, such that the spool may rotate about the support hub. The support hub includes a peripheral dimension that permits a dynamic, pivoting motion of the spool about the contact with the hub. The support hub normally positions the spool in a radially offset position and engages a friction member formed adjacent the periphery of the flange of the spool. During unwinding, pulling of the end of the elongate material causes the spool to pivot in the direction of the pulling force and away from the friction member. Once the pulling force is removed, the spool pivots about the hub, back into frictional engagement with the friction member.

Abstract: A rolled sheet support mechanism has two spaced-apart guide plates for accommodating therebetween a rolled sheet. A displacement member carries a pair of opposed, axially slidable bobbins and pivots between an attachment position wherein the rolled sheet can be inserted between and held by the bobbins and an accommodation position wherein the rolled sheet is ready for use. A pair of biasing members compressed between the guide plates and bobbins elastically press the bobbins to the rolled sheet. The spacing between the guide plates is larger in the region of the attachment position than in the region of the accommodation position so that when the displacement member pivots from the attachment position to the accommodation position, the biasing members slide along the guide plates and further compress to increase the force at which the bobbins press against the rolled sheet.

Abstract: The invention is an organizer for dispensing rolled goods. The organizer has first and second carousels positioned adjacent opposing ends of an axle. Additionally, each of the first and second carousels comprises a plurality of connector hubs, each adapted to receive a hollow end of a respective roll of rolled goods. A preferred embodiment of the organizer has a lock that selectively restricts rotation of the carousels relative end panels that receive the axle.

Preferably, the mounting clip alone maintains the main body portion positioned relative to and in contacting adjacency with a mounting surface by steps for installing said apparatus. The steps preferably include; guiding an extension portion of a mounting clip through a mounting clip aperture of said clip support, and sliding a retention portion of said mounting clip into pressing contact with the mounting surface.

Abstract: Taught herein is a roll holder comprising a body and a shaft, the body comprising a left stop-plate, a right stop-plate, and a wall plate; a pair of symmetric to each other runners is disposed on the left stop-plate and the right stop-plate; the front portion of the runner is higher than the end portion thereof; both ends of the shaft are rotably or rollingly attached to the runners at both sides of the body, respectively; and a protrusion parallel to the shaft is disposed on the body. The invention overcomes disadvantages found in prior art, and provides a roll holder with the help of which rollable material may be cut or thorn using one hand only which makes the use very convenient. The solution uses a mobile shaft structure cooperating with a protrusion on the body and combining the slideway with the shaft.

A rear profile of the side panels comprises an edge and corresponds to an internal profile of a case. A lower part of a lower face of said edge extends into a tongue which can be locked and positioned in a housing. The housing is formed by the front part of the base wall of the case for rails, which are used to position the lower edges of the side panels. The upper parts of the side panels are formed with an elastic tongue. Each tongue receives a shaped locking tab which is positioned behind tabs that form hooks on a rear face of the case.

Abstract: An inventive toilet paper dispenser includes a dispenser body and an opening. A door is connected to the body and can selectively open and close the opening. A toilet paper roll holder is connected to the door and extends into the holder when the door is closed. A flange portion and a movable member extend from the body. As the body is advanced into a hole in a wall until the flange portion contacts the outside surface of the wall the member impinge into the wall.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing roll stock material comprises a pair of rollers for receiving the roll stock material, the pair of rollers being axially offset. A base supports the pair of rollers and a wheel assembly is coupled to the base. The wheel assembly enables movement of the dispenser and rotation of the pair of rollers causes the roll stock material to be unrolled. The rollers are driven by a drive mechanism to deliver a free end of material to a workstation for processing.

Abstract: A reel-holder flange in a dispensing machine for wipe material includes a frame which accommodates a protective cover. The frame has two flanges between which a reel of material, a drum which accommodates a cutting device and any other components are mounted. The reel-holder flanges each accommodate an end fitting which accommodates a core of the reel. An upper part of one of the flanges accommodates a shaft which supports an end fitting. The end fitting accommodates an O-ring seal which protrudes and cooperates which the core of the reel. An elastic return means is disposed between the base of the flange or an associated connecting spacer bar between the flanges in order to fulfil an anti-loop function by cooperating with means for tensioning the return means.

Abstract: Adapters according to the invention are configured for solid or coreless rolls of material dispensed in a roll dispenser. The dispenser has slots defined on the side walls thereof along which the adapters move. The adapters include a carriage having opposite side members attached to a transverse support arm. A pin is disposed on the outboard surface of each side member and engages in the slots defined in the dispenser side walls. A protrusion is disposed on an inboard surface of each side member and engages at least partially into a recess or divot formed in the sides of the solid or coreless roll.

Abstract: There is provided a mounting system for an apparatus for dispensing wet wipes. The system may include a dispenser and a mounting bracket. The dispenser has the ability to be mounted to a conventional toilet tissue holder. The mounting bracket may securely yet removably hold the dispensing apparatus to the holder.

Abstract: A thread cassette in the form of a cassette-like plastic box adapted for holding two bobbins of thread. Once assembled with the bobbins disposed therein, the cassette cannot be reopened. The cassette casing enables thread therein to be easily and readily dispensed on demand. The plastic box features an integral cylindrical element which fits a standard sewing machine spool spindle. A single-bobbin casing is another embodiment of the invention. The two-bobbin embodiment may be used for supplying thread to a two-needle sewing machine.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing rolled materials wherein the dispenser includes a housing adapted to support a roll of material. A cover is attached to the housing, the cover being pivotable upwardly to an open position and pivotable downwardly to a closed position. A first roller may be attached to the housing and a second roller may be attached to the cover. A dispensing opening is formed between the housing and the cover when the cover is in its closed position, so that the leading portion of a roll of material that is placed within the housing may extend over the first roller. When the cover is moved to its closed position, the leading portion is captured in the nip formed between the first roller and the second roller, thus eliminating the need to feed the leading portion of the rolled material through the nip formed by the rollers.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for more efficiently and easily dispensing paper products, such as toilet tissue, from commercial wall mounted dispensers. The dispenser may be reloaded, in most instances, in a single operation that requires only one hand. Further, the housing protects the paper from vandals and improper tampering, while still being configured for a simple reloading procedure without the necessity for using keys and the like to gain access to the housing. The apparatus may comprise spring loaded projections on the interior of the housing that are adapted to receive and suspend within the housing rolls of paper tissue. Doors within the housing are configured to allow insertion of a new roll of paper into the dispenser when located in the open position; further, such doors suspend the tail of the paper roll for easy access to the tissue user when the doors are in the closed position.

Each plunger includes: (1) a base, the base being fixed to the frame; (2) a distal end, the distal end having a radius of curvature; and (3) a central shaft, the central shaft connecting the base and the distal end and providing sufficient length so the plunger has a length at least as great as its widest dimension so the plunger is adapted to penetrate a depression defined at an end of a coreless roll product, so radial displacement of the coreless roll with respect to said frame is prevented during use. Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing sheet material from a roll of sheet material includes a rotatable sheet material engagement member having an outer surface for engaging the sheet material. A pivoted shaft is mounted adjacent to the sheet material engagement member having a feed roller mounted thereon. The shaft and feed roller are pivotally moved toward the sheet material engagement member and the feed roller is rotated to transport the sheet material over the outer surface of the sheet material engagement member. Spaced tucker members are connected to the sheet material engagement member and simultaneously rotate and pivot upon depletion of a primary roll of sheet material to position the lead end of a reserve roll between the sheet material engagement member and the feed roller.
