Abstract: A stand is assumed to be a stand having a triangular structure, increases the strength between the front end portion of a mounting bar and a bracket and readily positions a solar cell module even without particularly increasing the number of components, and further prevents the corrosion of the bracket and metal fittings around the bracket. Abutting portions 73m of a front bracket 73 position a frame member 21 of a solar cell module 2 such that the frame member juts out beyond a bottom plate 73a of the front bracket 73 toward the abutting portions 73m. Accordingly, even if rainwater infiltrates the space between the solar cell module 2 and a mounting bar 11, gradually runs along the bottom face of the solar cell module 2, and turns into waterdrops W, and then the waterdrops W drop from the edge portion of the solar cell module 2, the waterdrops W will not fall on the bottom plate 73a of the front bracket 73 and the base rail 71.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises a controller for remotely controlling an implantable device that is used to adjust a gastric band, and the controller transmits a telemetric signal to the implantable device. The apparatus further comprises a table that provides support for the controller. A rail is oriented in a first direction with respect to the table, and a tray is slidably coupled to the rail. The tray receives the controller, and the rail moves the tray and the controller in the first direction with respect to the table. The apparatus further comprises a roller coupled to the rail. The roller aids in moving the rail, the tray, and the controller in a second direction with respect to the table. The apparatus further comprises an attachment mechanism for securing the controller to the tray. The apparatus locates the controller in a desired location with respect to a patient.

Abstract: An adjustable display arm utilizing a single motion, friction-locking hinge mechanism to allow a user to adjust the display height across a range sufficient to accommodate different-sized users while supporting the weight of an attached flat-panel display. The adjustable display arm can comprise a base assembly, an arm assembly, and a mount assembly. The arm assembly can have a lower arm bracket, an upper link, a hinge mechanism connecting the upper link's first end to the lower arm bracket, and an upper arm bracket attached to the upper link's second end. The hinge mechanism can have a shaft, a clutch bearing, and a friction pack. When assembled, the arm assembly's hinge mechanism will provide minimal resistance to a user raising an attached flat-panel display. However, the hinge mechanism's friction pack will provide resistance to the lowering of the arm assembly, thereby supporting the weight of an attached flat-panel display and effectively locking the adjustable display arm in the desired position.
