Legs Pivoted To Head Patents (Class 248/168)
  • Patent number: 11940071
Abstract: A portable hose carrier for RV sewer hoses is disclosed. The portable hose carrier has an outer tube, an inner tube within the outer tube, and a clamp encircling one end of the outer tube. When the clamp is open, the inner tube may telescopically slide within the outer tube. When closed, the clamp fastens the inner tube and outer tube together so long as some portion of the inner tube remains within the outer tube. A relief slot in the outer tube allows the outer tube's diameter and circumference to be reduced when the clamp is in the closed position. Each of the inner tube and outer tube has a respective endcap at opposing ends of the inner and outer tubes. At least two inner legs and two outer legs are rotatably attached to the end cap of the inner tube and outer tube, respectively.

Abstract: A support for supporting equipment includes at least one elongate leg element at least partially supporting an apex selectively, detachably mountable to equipment, where the leg includes a first end proximate the apex and a second end distal the apex, and where the leg is pivotal about an axis proximate the first end throughout a limited arc. A securement assembly pivotably interconnects the first end of the leg with the apex. The securement assembly has selectable resistance to movement along the arc as a result of selectively increasing or decreasing the resistance between at least three friction plates having surfaces in face-to-face engagement with one another.

  • Patent number: 8783241
Abstract: A Dutch oven lid holder having a horizontally oriented support ring. Three support leg members have their top ends telescopically received in tubular coupling members formed on the support ring. The area beneath the support ring and within the perimeter of the support leg members defines a lid storage space. A lid support assembly has a horizontally oriented tubular sleeve portion having a tension coil spring passing therethrough. The opposite ends of the coil spring are detachably secured to brackets on the support ring. A vertically oriented anchor leg has its top end adjustably received on a T-connector portion extending downwardly from the tubular sleeve portion. The anchor leg has a hook on its bottom end that loops under the handle of a Dutch oven lid. Anchor arms extending inwardly from the respective support leg members would maintain a downward force on the Dutch oven lid causing the coil spring to be place under tension.
