Abstract: An anchor assembly for anchoring an object on a wall includes a first anchor component and second anchor component, each anchor component pivotable relative to the assembly and having a back side and a front side, and each anchor component having at least one curved wall penetrating retainer extending therefrom. The anchor assembly has an install orientation in the wall in which the wall penetrating retainer of each anchor component is inserted within the wall for a jaw-type grip of the wall.

Abstract: A tool for installing cables in a split sleeve includes first and second guide portions, a third arcuate guide portion extending from and positioned radially outward of the first guide portion, the first and third guide portions forming a first guide slot therebetween, and a fourth arcuate guide portion extending from and positioned radially outward of the second guide portion, the second and fourth guide portions forming a second guide slot therebetween. The tool may be assembled to a split sleeve that is biased toward a rolled up configuration in which one side of the split sleeve at least partially overlies another side of the split sleeve. By positioning one or more cables within the tool while the tool is assembled to the split sleeve, a user may slide the tool along the split sleeve to position the cables within the split sleeve.

Abstract: A stud mounting bracket for a junction box includes a mounting extension extending outward from a longitudinal end margin of a main body. The mounting extension includes a mounting body connected to the longitudinal end margin of the main body and an extension tab connected to the mounting body. The extension tab is pivotable relative to the mounting body about an axis from a compact configuration to an extended configuration to increase the length of the mounting extension. A box mounting bracket for mounting a junction box on a stud mounting bracket includes first and second jaws. The first and second jaws engage the stud mounting bracket for use in attaching the box mounting bracket to the stud mounting bracket. The first and second jaws are resiliently deflectable both relative to the base and independent of one another when attaching the box mounting bracket to the stud mounting bracket.

Abstract: An adjustable bracket includes a first bracket portion with a first leg and a first bar element, a second bracket portion with a second leg and a second bar element, and a hub assembly supported on at least one of the first and second bracket portions. The hub assembly can be configured to couple a flexible hose to the adjustable bracket. The first bar element can be telescopically received by the second bar element so that a distance between the first and second legs is selectively adjustable. A fastener can fix the first and second bar elements in a desired relationship. The hub assembly can include first and second support members that are pivotably connected to rotate between open and closed positions. The second support member may have a slot that allows the second support member to rotate and move laterally with respect to the first support member.

Abstract: A modular dovetail rail clamping assembly includes a polymer body and a metal fixed clamp component. A threaded fastener extends through the body and into the fixed clamp component to draw the fixed clamp component into engagement with the body. The fixed clamp component and the body have mating longitudinal ridge and groove structures which rigidly fix alignment of the fixed clamp component relative to the body when assembled. A metal movable clamp component opposes the fixed clamp. A threaded clamping fastener extends through the movable clamp component and the body, and is received into the fixed clamp component to draw the movable clamp component into engagement with the body. A removable, reversible crossbar extends transversely across the body between the fixed clamp component and the movable clamp component.

Abstract: An overhead slatwall mounting bracket that has an anchoring surface and a biasing surface. The anchoring surface attaches the mounting bracket to a generally horizontal installation surface. The biasing surface may either define or provide one or more elongate slots. The mounting bracket is capable of securely supporting slatwall accessories that include one or more cantilever tabs. Each cantilever tab of the slatwall accessory may be inserted into one of the one or more elongate slots and thereby mount the slatwall accessory to the mounting bracket. The invention provides a means to suspend, mount or temporarily affix the tabbed slatwall accessory from an overhead or horizontal surface by insertion and subsequent rotation of the one or more cantilever tabs extending from the slatwall accessory into the one or more elongate slots.

Abstract: A wallboard wall carries a picture or shelf hanger in a hole between front and back faces of the wall. The hanger includes: a one-piece member having (a) a shoulder having a bottom portion bearing against a bottom portion of the hole and extending horizontally through the hole, (b) an arm extending upwardly from the shoulder, (c) a leg (i) extending downwardly from the shoulder, and (ii) located outside the front face of the wall and (d) a load bearing surface for receiving the object. The arm has a sharp pointed end piercing the back face of the wall and extending into the wall via the back face of the wall.

Abstract: A system can be used to hang an object, such as a piece of artwork or a photo, on a wall. The system is configured to easily center the object on a wall and to identify a location on the wall where a nail, hook, or other hanging device can be positioned on the wall to properly center the object.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems for a picture hanging device for mounting a picture to a retention member engaged to a wall that includes a tube having a top portion and a bottom portion, the bottom portion of the tube is designed to receive a retention member mounted to a wall, the top portion of the tube extends into the air for correctly aligning the picture on the retention member and contains a protective cap, whereby a hanging mechanism engaged to the picture is positioned about the tube and is slid down the tube for engagement to the retention member and the tube is positioned within the center of the picture for correctly aligning the picture on the retention member.

Abstract: A hanging system having a panel with a front and back surface, wherein an adhesive component is on the front surface, and a pin on the back surface, the pin extends outwardly from the back surface at an angle with respect to the back surface, the angle being between about 50 to 80 degrees, the pin has an outer end, wherein the outer end is pointed so as to allow for a puncturing effect when pressed into a wall material.

Abstract: A detector extender support system for facilitating ease of accessing battery operated detectors, such as smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms, without the use of a ladder or other elevation device. Detector extender support system may generally comprise an extender handle comprising a distal end and a proximal end. The distal end of the extender handle may comprise a round, disk-shaped detector support comprising a substantially planar surface to which the base of a battery operated detector may be fastened to via a set of screws. A hook may be securely attached to a top portion of the distal end of the extender handle so that the detector extender support system may be hung from a nail, screw, or other wall fastener. The proximal end of the extender handle may comprise a curvy, ergonomic profile facilitating ease of use. The detector extender support system enables a user to remotely access the detector mechanism for manipulation and service.

Abstract: A camera tree mount apparatus includes a boring member that includes a coupler, a central body attached to the coupler and a drill head is attached the central body opposite of the coupler. The drill head is threaded and has a pointed free end to threadably bore the drill head into a tree trunk. The coupler has an outer end positioned distal to the central body. A shaft has a pair of threaded shaft ends one of which is attached to the coupler. A mounting panel has a peripheral edge having a threaded aperture therein. One of the shaft ends is extended into the threaded aperture and threadably coupled to the mounting panel. The mounting panel has at least one hole extending therethrough. A camera is mountable on the mounting panel after the drill head is extended into a tree to couple the camera to the tree.

Abstract: An angle adjusting device for a display is provided. The angle adjusting device is mounted on a rear surface of a display to suspend the display onto a main support bracket, and achieve an effect of securing. By using the angle adjusting device for a display, the display is secured at an optimal viewing angle for a user under normal watching conditions in mounting, for example, at a tilt of 5 or 10 degrees. Thus, the adjusting device achieves angle adjustment as required, and effectively secure the displays at a required angle.

Abstract: A shelf bracket having a ledge and a plurality of side members, the shelf bracket being formed from a blank. The blank has a plurality of side portions, which can be bent downwardly to create the side members. The blank also has a ledge portion which forms the ledge of the shelf bracket. The side portions and the ledge portion of the blank are separated by a plurality of bend lines, to facilitate bending for the formation of the shelf bracket. The blank desirably has a lip portion which can be bent upwardly to form a lip of the shelf bracket. The blank can also have a plurality of stiffener portions which can be bent to create stiffeners in the shelf bracket, and one or more ribs in the side portions to provide strength to the shelf bracket.

Abstract: A mounting arrangement for a light or other object includes a clamping arrangement, or a keying arrangement, or both a clamping and a keying arrangement for mounting to different mounting rails having different keying features. The clamping arrangement includes a fixed clamp member and a movable clamp member that is movable towards and away from the fixed clamp member and is biased towards the fixed clamp member, so as to grip a mounting rail therebetween. The keying arrangement employs interchangeable keying members that may be disposed in a recess of the light or other object and that may have different keying features for use with mounting rails having corresponding keying features.

Abstract: A bracket for hanging articles. The bracket includes a body portion having at least one side wall and at least one first aperture in which the body portion is attachable to a hanging surface. The bracket also includes a swingable hook. The swingable hook has a hooking portion, at least one side portion and at least one engaging portion in which each engaging portion is attached to one side portion. Each first aperture of the body portion engages at least one end portion of the swingable hook. In addition, each side portion of the hook may frictionally engage an inner surface of each side wall such that the swingable hook is swingably set to a plurality of positions. At least one protrusion located on an inner surface of the side wall may be used as an additional resting place for each side portion of the swingable hook.

Abstract: An anchoring device which includes a shaft having a head and tip at opposing ends of the shaft. A flexible cord is attached to the shaft with the free or opposite end of the chord used to attach to objects which are desired to be suspended. The shaft of the anchoring device is inserted tip end first either directly into a structural member such as a hollow wall or ceiling or through a hole which has been pre-drilled through such structural member. When the supporting rod exits the structural member it immediately rotates into an anchoring position due to the flexible nature of the attached cord.

Abstract: A hanger having a front plate attached through a plate junction to a back plate. At the rear of back plate are lower pins that extend outward from back plate. Back plate has slots that hold lower pins. A hinge pin is provided that traverses the upper portion of plate junction and fits into a slot that traverses the top of back plate horizontally. Hinge pin is bent backward and downward at right angles to ensure vertical portions of hinge pin do not create a binding condition between the fabric-covered wall or furniture and the back plate. Vertical portions of hinge pin are used to initially pin the hanger into the applicable fabric-covered wall or furniture. Once the tips of hinge pin are inserted into the fabric of the fabric-covered wall or furniture, the rest of the hanger will rotate freely on the horizontal axis of hinge pin allowing the lower pins to penetrate the fabric exterior surface and the inner core material at an angle slightly less than 90 degrees.

A plurality of barbs extend from opposing surfaces of the gripping wall portion which engage the inner channel surface of the raceway to form a friction fit therewith. In a second embodiment, the plurality of barbs are progressively wider from the distal end of the gripping wall portion to its first end, allowing the end cap to be employed with various sized raceways.
