Abstract: The reinforcement bracket provides structural integrity for the trunk handle of an automobile, in particular the Scion tC. The bracket includes first fastening interface, a second fastening interface, a handle support structure, a first planar brace, a second planar brace, and a web. The handle support structure includes a planar body and a grasping hole. The grasping hole traverses through the planar body to facilitate the placement of the lock actuator. The first planar brace and second planar brace are oriented parallel and offset to each other as well as being positioned adjacent and normal to the planar body. The web is connected between the two planar braces and provides additional structural rigidity. The bracket is attached to the trunk handle and trunk through the two fastening interfaces. The first and second fastening interface is connected adjacent and normal to the first and second planar brace, respectively.

Abstract: A reconfigurable apparatus for hanging support of articles is provided. The reconfigurable apparatus provides a hanging member that, responsive to user actuation, transitions between a stowed position and an operative position to thereby reconfigure the hanging apparatus between operative and stowed configurations. In a stowed configuration, the hanging member may be substantially flush with a frame or faceplate of the apparatus. Such reconfigurable hanging apparatus may be substantially flush-mounted with a wall to avoid injury thereon, to maintain a decor, and to provide flexibility in placement of wall-abutting furnishings. The hanging member is retained until user actuation sufficient to overcome a retention member therein.

Abstract: A bracket orients and/or supports a guest object from a host structure that includes one or more sheets that may overlap. The sheets may include a fastener. For example, a bracket may orient a video camera/recorder supported by an article of clothing worn by a law enforcement officer. The bracket bears at least part of the weight of the object and maintains an orientation of the object. Friction between the bracket and one or more of the host sheets may resist movement of the bracket with respect to the sheet. The bracket may be installed by passing a portion of the bracket through an orifice of the sheet. When used with an overlapping arrangement of two sheet edges, friction between the bracket and each sheet edge may resist movement of the bracket with respect to each sheet edge. Consequently, the bracket may further serve to mechanically couple the two sheet edges, align, and/or maintain the alignment of the two sheet edges.
