Abstract: A holder for removably attaching a portable electronic device to an elongate support such as a tray table latch on a seatback with a stowable tray table comprises a clamp frame, a spring compression lever slidably attached to the clamp frame, a flexible band for suspending the clamp frame from the elongate support and a self-centering clamp for gripping opposite sides of the elongate support. The holder may optionally include a device adapter for attaching a selected electronic device. Another embodiment comprises steps in a method for holding a portable electronic device against a seatback having a stowable seatback tray table.

Abstract: A bracket assembly includes a polymer bracket that has a first side, a second side, and an opening that extends between the first and second sides. A compression limiting clip includes a plate portion coupled with the second side. The rotating member is operable to rotate down to abut a top of the expansion card and engage with the supporting member. A second end of the expansion card opposite to the first end is fastened to the second rack.

Abstract: A connecting device adapted for connecting a multifunctional box with a vehicle multimedia system may be provided. The connecting device may comprise a shell for holding the multifunctional box having a first open end portion and a second end portion configured with an interface, via which the multifunctional box is electrically connected with the vehicle multimedia system in a releasable manner; a locking unit formed on at least a lateral side between the first open portion and the second end portion for releasably locking the multifunctional box; and a release unit formed on the shell to release the inserted multifunctional box when pressed. The mounting device also includes an adapter capable of securely mating with the tilt plate, providing a pivotal interface for the attachment of the emergency equipment thereto.

An interface apparatus may be inserted through an opening formed in the face plate. The sliding blocks are then expanded within the recess to hold the interface apparatus to the sidewall of the truck box. A backing plate may be attached to an inside surface of the sidewall.

Abstract: A fastening device for a hard disk drive (HDD) includes two fastening members and a bottom plate. Each fastening member includes a sidewall, and a top wall and a bottom wall perpendicularly extending from opposite sides of the sidewall. The top walls are fastened to a bottom of the HDD. An engaging hole is defined in each bottom wall. The engaging hole includes a small first hole and a large second hole communicating with the first hole. One of the fastening members further includes a locking tab. Two protrusions protrude from the bottom plate. The HDD is operable to slide to allow the protrusions to enter and engage with the corresponding first holes from the second holes. A fastener extends through the locking tab and then engages in the bottom plate to fix the HDD in place.

Abstract: An equipment enclosure for housing electronic components includes a front assembly having a front frame, the front assembly defining a front of the enclosure, and a rear assembly having a rear frame. The enclosure further includes at least two side brace members, each side brace member having a first end and a second, opposite end. A first connector is configured to releasably connect the first end of one of the side brace members to the front frame. Each of the first end of the cranks having an engaging portion, the cranks are rotatable about a rotating axis at the first ends between a first position and a second position.

Abstract: A bracket for mounting an expansion card to different slots of enclosures is disclosed. The bracket includes a base for attaching the expansion card thereon, a pair of rails attached on the base, a sliding element being slidably connected between the rails, a connecting element fixed to the sliding element and a locking element slidably connected to the sliding element. The sliding element is movable on the base between at a first position where the connecting element is received in the base and a second position where the connecting element is spaced from the base. The locking element is movable relative to the sliding element to fix the sliding element to the base or release the sliding element from the base.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for mounting a removable module in a chassis with a sidewall defining a locking slot includes a locking member, and an operation member. The removable module includes a side plate defining a through slot, and an end plate defining a through hole adjacent to the end plate. The operation member is pivotably attached to an inner surface of the side plate. The locking member includes a mounting piece fixed to the inner surface of the side plate, and a resilient piece slantingly extending from the mounting piece. A wedge extends from the resilient piece. The operation member includes a handle and a pressing portion. The handle is operated to rotate the operation member in to make the pressing portion press the resilient piece toward the side plate, until the wedge extends through the through slot to lock in the locking slot of the sidewall.

Abstract: A universal spacer apparatus and method of use for securing a drawer slide of nearly any size into a furniture piece. The spacer apparatus comprises a rectangular block comprising a pair of placement pins, and a screw through hole in the apparatus's center. The placement pins snap into a pair of holes simultaneously drilled into the furniture panel, thus securing the spacer apparatus to the panel in a time efficient manner. The guide rail component of the drawer slide is then placed on the exposed face of the apparatus, and the rail is secured via inserting a screw through the rail and the apparatus, and into the furniture panel. The invention also comprises a method of securing drawers for transport to prevent damage comprising attaching straps to the back of the drawers, feeding the straps through a hole drilled into furniture's back panel, and affixing the straps to the panel.

A front end of the resilient plate defines a slanted second notch, and a semicircular second slot extending from a rear end of the second notch. When the resilient plate is at a first position, the second notch and the second slot respectively align with one of the first notches and a corresponding first slot of the first side plate. When the resilient plate is slid to a second position, the second slot aligns with a rear end of said corresponding first slot, and the second notch is staggered from the corresponding first notch.

Thus, there is no need for production of backplanes of various specifications to adapt for the requirements of various PCBs and the like and components of different number, and only a kind of backplane is required to be produced.
