Abstract: A component to be mounted on a vehicle includes a housing, a pair of component mounting passages, defined in the housing, aligning with a pair of respective vehicle mounting passages when the component is any of a plurality of orientations with respect to the vehicle, and a component orientation element, on the housing. The component orientation element cooperates with a vehicle orientation element only when the component is in one of the plurality of orientations with respect to the vehicle. A hub on the component orientation element acts to tune the component orientation element for attenuating vibration received by the component orientation element from the vehicle.

Abstract: Devices for connecting tubular bodies, such as rifle scopes and flashlights, to armament are disclosed herein. In a first preferred embodiment, the device has a screw and spring combination that is quickly detachable and is adjustable along scope axis. In a second preferred embodiment, the device has a riser portion that extends the cylindrical body out according to desires of a user. In yet another preferred embodiment, the device is modified to engage a sling swivel hole typically provided for a rifle shoulder strap. All embodiments further comprise aluminum alloy with black anodized coating.

The substrate is dimensioned in correlation with dimension of the opening of the casing. The horizontal and vertical plates are formed around the substrate. Each vertical plate includes a body and an elastic sheet. The body has a hole, a front edge and a rear edge at opposite sides of the hole. The elastic sheet has a gentle uphill section extending from the front edge of the body and a sharp downhill section extending from the gentle uphill section. The sharp downhill section is close to the rear edge of the body and hung over the hole of the body and the gentle uphill section has a length larger than that of the sharp downhill section.

The clamping structure is provided with a through hole and connected to the object. The positioning pillar is connected to the case. The buffering structure is provided with a positioning hole and has a trench surrounding the buffering structure, and a plurality of protruding parts disposed on a sidewall of the positioning hole. The through hole of the clamping structure can be engaged with the trench, and the positioning pillar can be inserted into the positioning hole, so that the protruding parts and the positioning pillar engage with each other. Accordingly, the object can be fixed on the case.

Abstract: Fastener retainer brackets and related assemblies and methods are disclosed. One example fastener retainer bracket includes a mounting portion and a restricting portion coupled to the mounting portion. The mounting portion defines a plurality of openings structured to receive a plurality of fasteners received in a support structure. The restricting portion is adapted to permit tool access to heads of the plurality of fasteners when the plurality of fasteners extend through the plurality of openings of the mounting portion. The restricting portion is adapted to contact the head of at least one of the fasteners to inhibit removal of that fastener from the support structure.

The fastening element has at least one projection against which a connecting element of the airbag fed through the feed-through opening rests and which counteracts the connecting element from being pulled out of the feed-through opening. The invention also relates to a method for fastening an airbag of a vehicle occupant restraint system to a vehicle structure.

The mounting system further includes projector mount bracket wherein a portion of the projector mount bracket is also positionable a predetermined distance from a mounting surface such that a desired distance is maintained between the projector and the IWB when the system is installed over an existing structure.

Abstract: A clamp is disclosed for attaching solar panel grids to standing seam roof structures. The clamp may comprise a pair of opposing clamp halves having a plurality of inter-engageable projections and recesses. One or more fasteners engage the halves to draw the halves together. At one end of the clamp, a first set of recesses on the first clamp half may receive a first set of projections on the second half. At an opposite end of the clamp a second set of recesses on the first clamp half may receive a second set of projections on the second half. In the loosened condition, the first set of recesses may be engaged in the first set of recesses to act as a detent, while the second set of projections may be spaced a sufficient distance away from the second set of recesses to enable the clamp to be slid down onto the vertical seam portion of a standing seam roof. Tightening the fasteners then causes the second set of projections to deform the seam portion into the second set of recesses, fixing the clamp to the seam.

Abstract: A holder for securing objects having a plate for securing to a surface and a pair of opposed grippers rotatably mounted on the plate. The grippers are mirror images of each other and configured with a body, a heel on the butt end of the body and an upwardly arcing nose on the body opposite the heel with a curved gripping surface extending between the heel and the nose. The grippers are biased toward each other such that noses abut each other when there is no object between the grippers. An object to be secured is inserted between the grippers and the grippers rotate apart to accommodate the object and the biasing spring urges the grippers towards each other to secure the object between the grippers.

An aperture is disposed through the planar member adjacent the spacer which is adapted to receive the buckle engagement member of the work belt.
