Abstract: A kitchen hood has a first housing and a second housing that slides into and out of the first housing to adjust a length of the kitchen hood. The first housing has a fan to suction air, an outlet, and an air quality sensor assembly to continuously detect air quality in a kitchen. The second housing has an inlet and suction grill through which air is suctioned, a steam cleaning assembly to automatically steam clean an interior of the kitchen hood, and a height sensing assembly to sense a height of cookware seated on a cooktop surface below the second housing. The kitchen hood may be lengthened or shortened based on the sensed height of the cookware, and a speed of the fan and the height of the kitchen hood may be automatically adjusted based on detections by the air quality sensor assembly.

Abstract: An elevator traveling cable hanger assembly for use with an elevator is provided. The elevator traveling cable hanger assembly includes a base structure configured for attachment to an elevator hoistway structure. An insert is configured for attachment to the base structure and further configured to support an elevator traveling cable. A plurality of wire rope clips are configured to support a traveling cable core extending from the elevator traveling cable. A plurality of fasteners are configured to secure the base structure, insert, elevator traveling cable and plurality of wire rope clips to the elevator hoistway structure.

Abstract: A flexible and inexpensive solution for mounting telecommunication equipment to a structure. For example, a mounting bracket for mounting telecommunication equipment to the structure is described. The mounting bracket comprises an upper end and an opposite lower end. A surface between the upper end and the opposite lower end is adapted to abut the telecommunication equipment. The upper end has an essentially semi-circular protrusion. This essentially semi-circular protrusion is adapted to pivotally engage with a corresponding hook-like protrusion of a mounting rail in a locking manner. Moreover, the lower opposite end of the mounting bracket comprises a protrusion that is substantially perpendicular to said surface and that extends in a direction away from said surface. This protrusion includes at least one fastener which is adapted to engage with a corresponding end of the mounting rail such that the mounting rail can be locked to the mounting bracket.

Abstract: A quick release equipment mount includes a support module secured to a fixture such as a wall or pipe and a number of item modules, each of which can attach to an item of equipment such as a fire extinguisher for quick release. The item modules can have two pair of vertically spaced apart hooks which engage two pair of commensurately spaced apart posts extending laterally from an elongated vertical tongue extending from the support module. The hooks are formed on a pair of rails spaced to form a groove slidingly engaged by the tongue. Item modules can have different item interfacing segments for securing in various manners to various types of equipment items while all having similar support module interfacing segments capable of quick release mounting to the support module.

Abstract: A light unit used in train tunnels is readily mountable and removable from a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket allows the battery backup system and light engine to be gravity mounted in manner that allows for quick and easy mounting and removal while also resisting vibrations and wind. A quick disconnect fitting can be used with the power cord to allow the units to be removed and replaced as needed. The light unit integrates the light engine with a battery backup system so that the entire light and battery unit is removed and replaced when necessary.

Example embodiments include: a wall mount formed with a longitudinally elongated body having upper and lower ends and a wall-facing surface, the upper end being formed with a longitudinal rail for engaging a channel in a frame member, the wall mount including an attachment mechanism to attach the wall mount to a wall surface, the wall mount further including an embedded leveling indicator to enable level attachment of the wall mount to the wall surface; and a frame including at least one frame member, each frame member being formed with a first longitudinal channel for engaging the rail of the upper end of the wall mount, each frame member being formed with a second longitudinal channel for engaging an edge of a wall hanging item inserted into the frame.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides devices and techniques for a reversible mounting bracket. The reversible mounting bracket includes a pole mounting side and a wall mounting side. The pole mounting side and the wall mounting side are joined together at approximately 90°. When used to mount a fixture, such as a light fixture, to a wall, the wall mounting side is mounted to a wall, and the pole mounting side provides support for the fixture. When used to mount a fixture to a pole, the pole mounting side is mounted to a pole, and the wall mounting side provides support for the fixture. Thus, the same reversible mounting bracket can be used to mount a fixture to a pole or to a wall.

A bracket comprises a support body having an elongated portion extending along a longitudinal axis. A connector end comprises at least one hook projecting rearwardly from the support body and passing through a hole in the standard to releasably hook the bracket to the standard, the at least one hook comprising a downwardly projecting tooth, the at least one hook defining with the support body a receptacle, a portion of the receptacle being delimited by a forwardly oriented contact edge of the tooth, the receptacle receiving one of wall portions of the standard. A finger projects generally upwardly from the at least one hook and having a forwardly oriented contact edge, the forwardly oriented contact edge of the finger being rearward of the forwardly oriented contact edge of the corresponding tooth along the longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A system is described for hooking and unhooking a carrier bag with respect to the tank of a motorcycle. The system comprises a first group of components suitable to be fixed to the carrier bag and a second group of components suitable to be fixed to the tank. The first group of components comprises a flexible ring provided with a plurality of locking teeth elastically projecting inwards of such a flexible ring. The locking teeth are coupled with an annular flange of the second group of components to obtain the hooking of the carrier bag to the tank. On the flexible ring there is a hand-driven mechanism for the radial retraction of the locking teeth to generate a radial displacement of such locking teeth, allowing disengagement between the flexible ring and the annular flange and, hence, obtaining the disengagement of the carrier bag from the tank.

Abstract: Wall mounting assemblies and methods are disclosed. The assembly includes a bracket that has two frame members coupled at a hinge. Each frame member has a hook for engaging a recess or slot on a panel. The assembly further includes a panel that has edges that are configured to engage the edges of adjacent panels, without the need for tilting the panel to engage. Each panel has two slots for receiving the bracket. Bending the two frame members on the bracket causes the bracket's hooks to lock into the slots on the panel.

Abstract: An underground fluid storage tank hold-down system for holding down an underground cylindrical fluid storage tank in a hole that has been excavated, the underground tank hold-down system comprising a multiplicity of paired hold-down straps having a first end and a second end. A multiplicity of paired deadmen anchors are adapted to be placed to either side of the tank when the tank is in the hole. The deadmen anchors each have anchor upstanding loops. A tank hold-down assembly is provided comprising a take-up coupler assembly having a pair of arched sections, having hooks thereon, including a first arched section and a second arched section and a threaded engagement assembly. The threaded engagement assembly includes a threaded member and a receiving member adapted to receive part of the threaded member. The straps engage the hooks and the anchor upstanding loops.

Abstract: A retail display clip is provided. The retail display clip includes a stationary clip base and a rotatable clip member that rotates about an axis of rotation. The rotatable clip member rotates relative to the clip base. The retail display clip includes an open state and a closed state. As the rotatable clip member rotates from the open to the closed or the closed to the open state, an over-center point is transitioned. The over-center point is created by the interaction between a locking tab of the rotatable clip member and a flat inner surface of the clip base. In the closed stated, a torque is created by the over-center point that causes the locking tab to place a force on the flat inner surface of the clip base. A gripping point is formed at the location where the locking tab places the force. The gripping point supports retail merchandise.

Abstract: A fixing device for fixing a fan includes a fixing plate and a pair of fastening members. The fan includes a sidewall defining a number of fixing holes. The fixing plate defines a vent area and a number of slots located around the vent area. Each fastening member includes a connecting plate, a number of first hooks extending out from a first side of the connecting plate, and a number of second hooks extending out from a second side of the connecting plate opposite to the first hooks. Each first hook is latched into the corresponding slot of the fixing plate, each second hook is latched into the corresponding fixing hole of the fan.

Abstract: There is disclosed an improved support bracket for mounting a clutch of a roller blind. The clutch of roller blind used with this improved bracket is the type having at least one projecting pin. The support bracket includes a bracket housing having a flat wall with at least one aperture configured to receive the projecting pin such that the pin passes through the aperture and extends past the flat wall. The aperture is configured to permit the pin to slide up and down inside the aperture between a first and second position when the pin is positioned in the aperture. The bracket also includes a spring lock member mounted to the flat wall adjacent the aperture, the spring lock positioned to partially obstruct the aperture. The spring lock member is configured such that when the pin is inserted into the aperture the spring lock is deflected out of the way to permit the pin to be inserted into the aperture.

Abstract: The present invention provides a backplane, which includes a main body and a plurality of wall-mounting pieces mounted to the main body. Each of the wall-mounting pieces forms a first arc opening. The first arc opening is engageable with a first bolt to mount the backplane to the wall-mounting rack. With the backplane being of a wall-mounting structure that is arranged to be directly suspended on a head of a bolt or a suspension hook structure, the backplane can be suspended on a wall-mounting rack with the bolt or the suspension hook structure, making the use easy. The wall-mounting structure is easy to manufacture, is easy to use, shortens the processing time of the backplane, and lower down manufacture cost.

Abstract: A fixing device for use with at least one expansion card in a computer chassis includes a positioning member and a fixing member. One side of the positioning member defines at least one first slot. The fixing member includes a fixing portion and a rotatable portion rotatablely connected to the fixing portion. The fixing portion defines at least one second slot corresponding to the at least one first slot. When the rotatable portion is able to rotate to a position where the at least one first slot face to the at least one second slot, allowing opposite sides of the free end of the at least one expansion card.

Solar panel racks may include one, two, or more solar rack sections that may be connected to one another with an internal splice. The internal splice may internally support the adjoining solar racks. The solar rack may be secured to a support surface using one or more feet. The solar panel racks may be configured to support the weight of one or more solar modules. One or more solar module securing component may be used to secure the solar modules to a solar rack surface.

Abstract: There are provided a part fixing structure and a part fixing method to a resin-made fuel tank which can firmly fix a part to a tank wall without the need of providing a molding die with a convex portion and a recess. A part fixing method for fixing a tank-associated part to a tank wall of a resin-made fuel tank, the part being formed together with a pair of hook portions, the method comprising a step of burying the hook portions in the tank wall in a melted state when the resin-made fuel tank is molded, thereby fixing the part to the tank wall after the tank wall is cooled. In order to cause the resin of the tank wall to flow well, a chevron portion having a pair of first inclined faces is projectingly provided at the bottom face of the part between the hook portions, and a second inclined face which is inclined in a direction opposite to the buried direction toward the tip of the hook portion is formed at the bottom face of each hook portion.

The urging force of the linear spring urges the rail such that the other rail edge is pressed by the second fitting portions.

Abstract: The claimed invention is a hanging system for hanging an object, such as a wardrobe mirror, over a door. The invention includes a door hook and an interlock plate. The interlock plate is secured to the object and the door hook is hooked over the top of a door. The interlock plate includes interlock clips that fit into and engage with apertures on the door hook. This configuration allows the user to quickly and easily assemble and disassemble the over door hanging system.

The first wedge, top member and second wedge form a vertical slot for accepting a beam. The front member, first wedge, second wedge and back member form a horizontal slot for accepting a beam. The hook assembly and receptacle may be separate components which fit together for use or, in the alternative, can be fully integrated together as one component piece.

A method of mounting a cabinet on a surface is also provided comprising mounting a rail having a flange on a surface. A cabinet as described herein is suspended from the rail by the engagement member. The adjustment mechanism is moved towards or away from the surface to adjust the angle of the cabinet.

In an alternative embodiment wherein the balance block is used, the game support strap may be supported or secured by any means proximate a top edge of a standard door.

Abstract: In one example, a mounting device includes a single piece screwless cradle for mounting an electronic storage device to a mounting plane. A method for tool-less installation of an electronic storage device is also provided.
