  • Patent number: 7770859
Abstract: The invention relates to a holding element for fastening equipment elements to a supporting rail with a rail head having an essentially elliptical cross-sectional outer contour which is fastened to an inner supporting structure of a fuselage cell of an aircraft. The holding element has, inter alia, two resilient and pivotable clamping arms which, when “clamped on”, bear against the rail head and thereby bring about an initial fixing of the holding element on the supporting rail. The holding element can still be displaced longitudinally in this state. If the holding element is pressed further upward onto the supporting rail counter to the resilient action of two silicone buffers, a plug-in pin latches together with a spring clip and, by means of an upwardly moving locking frame, the locking of the clamping arms takes place at the same time, and therefore the clamping arms are secured against an intentional expansion in this “locked state”.

Abstract: An accessory mounting system and mounting method thereof provides an effective solution for sectioning a portion of a room and for organizing tools, objects and cables involved in the activity that gives rise to the need for sectioning or organizing the room. In particular, the present invention provides an accessory mounting system and method whereby accessories can be mounted to poles that are designed for use in temporary partitioning systems, or to other poles such as painter's poles. Such accessories can include, for example, a caution tape dispenser that mounts to a side surface of a pole following installation of the pole, and various pole clips that locate the caution tape at other poles in a clean, visually attractive, and effective manner. Other accessories include tool mounts, cable mounts, shelves, trays, drawers, hooks, camera or laser mounts, and the like, all attachable to a side surface of a pole following installation of the pole.

Abstract: A base-clamp assembly for supporting an instrument relative to a patient position adjacent to an instrument-support rail. The base-clamp assembly may comprise a base, a rail clamp, and an actuator assembly. The rail clamp may attach the base to the rail. A shank clamp may attach a shank to the base. The actuator assembly may be operable for opening and/or closing the rail clamp. A drive assembly may provide for moving a force-applying element relative to the base and a movable rail jaw for closing the rail clamp. The drive assembly may also be operable for opening and closing the shank clamp.

Abstract: A device is provided which can be converted from a transporting cart to an erecting hoist for a hunter's tree ladder stand. The device includes components which can be assembled into the cart, disassembled, and re-assembled into the hoist which allows one person to transport the ladder stand, and to raise and lower the ladder stand to and from a position against a tree. The hoist includes a clamp with jaws which can be operated by the hunter on the ground so as to secure the hoist to the tree. A rope or cable extends through a pulley on the hoist so that the ladder stand can be raised into position by a hunter, single-handily. The hunter can then climb the ladder stand, which is secured to the hoist, which is secured to the tree, and further attach the platform of the ladder stand to the tree with one or more straps.

Abstract: A medical instrument device interconnection system decreases the vibrational effects on a hospital pole. The medical device is contained in a case and the case has a first clamping member, a first biasing apparatus, a second clamping member, a second biasing apparatus, and a pole receiving trench. Each clamping member has a preferred position, an attachment position and a maximum tension position. In the preferred position the respective biasing members position the respective clamping member's distal end as close to each other as possible which inhibits a conventional hospital pole from entering the pole receiving trench. To obtain the maximum tension position, the person positioning the medical instrument device on the hospital pole aligns the pole receiving trench with the hospital pole so the hospital pole contacts the clamping members' exterior surface in the preferred position.
