Abstract: The invention relates to a construction arrangement of an elevator, comprising a hoistway in a building, the hoistway comprising a hoistway opening, the opening delimited by lower and upper edge structures; a load in the hoistway lower than said opening; a hoisting arrangement for hoisting said load, said hoisting arrangement comprising a support structure higher than said load; a hoisting device; and flexible tension member connected to said load; the flexible tension member being movable with said hoisting device to hoist the load by a hoisting force. Said support structure comprises an anchoring beam structure comprising a lower end engaging the lower edge structure, and an upper end engaging the upper edge structure; and a support beam structure connected to the anchoring beam structure, protruding from the anchoring beam structure into the hoistway; said flexible tension member hanging in the hoistway supported by the support beam structure.

Abstract: The wall jack may comprise a strongback coupler, a horizontal arm, a handrail holder, a support strut, and a support foot. The wall jack may be adapted to couple to a strongback of a concrete form. The strongback coupler may couple to the strongback by hanging on a bolt protruding from the strongback. The horizontal arm may extend away from the strongback coupler in a direction that is perpendicular to the concrete form. The support strut may brace the horizontal arm diagonally between a midpoint of the horizontal arm and the support foot pressing against the strongback at a location that is below the strongback coupler. The handrail holder may retain a handrail post in a vertical orientation. The wall jack may be used in groups of two or more to support scaffold planks or walk boards of a scaffold.

Abstract: A method of using a support accessory rack includes aligning a first mounting portion of the support accessory rack with a first pin of a rollover protective structure. The method includes aligning a second mounting portion of the support accessory rack with a second pin of a second rollover protective structure. The method includes actuating the first pin to secure the first mounting portion to the rollover protective structure. The method further includes actuating the second pin to secure the second mounting portion to the rollover protective structure. The method includes pivoting a rotating support member of the support accessory rack away from the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion, and supporting the rotating support member onto a lateral bar of the rollover protective structure.

Abstract: A frame mountable bracket assembly for hanging and rotating a mirror ball includes a cantilever, which comprises a first element that is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from an upper end of a second element. A pair of couplers is coupled singly to the cantilever proximate to the upper end and a lower end of the second element. The pair of couplers is configured to removably couple the cantilever to a frame, such as a portable truss utilized by a disc jockey. A rotator is coupled to the first element distal from the second element. A fastener that is coupled to the rotator is configured to removably couple to an object, such as a mirror ball, so that the rotator is positioned to selectively rotate the object.

Abstract: An adjustable suspension assembly for suspending a lower structure such as a platform from an upper structure such as a portion of a bridge. A sling, which is attachable at one end to the upper structure, is attached at its other end to one end of a chain. A device, which is attachable to the lower structure, has a pair of aligned apertures in its side walls for receiving pins. The pins are spaced to receive a thickness of a chain link but not to receive a width of the link, whereby a selected link to achieve a desired lower structure height may be cinched between the pins. The other end of the sling, which comprises a cable, has an eyelet formed by folding an end portion of the cable back over the cable and swaging the cable end portion to the cable. The chain is attached to said eyelet by receiving the end portion of the cable in one of the chain links before the cable end portion is swaged to the cable.

Abstract: An offshore material handling system including an offshore crane carrying vessel(4), an installation structure (1) fixed to the seabed and projecting above the sea level is described. The installation structure(1) includes a material handling distribution system on board the installation structure(1). The material handling system includes an independent platform structure(3) for temporary attachment to the installation structure(1) and temporary use on the installation structure (1) for load transfer.

Abstract: A multi-purpose litter clamp comprises a clamp that preferably spans below the litter connecting to opposing longitudinal litter poles on opposite sides of the litter. The clamp can attach rigidly and securely to both sides of the litter. In many embodiments, all but a few inches of the litter's longitudinal poles are covered with a nylon fabric that make up the ‘bed’ of the litter. A plurality of clamp accessories can facilitate rapid and effective attachment and/or removal of medical equipment connected to a patient directly to the litter on which the patient lies, either during transport and/or while in a field hospital.

Abstract: A bar extension system for supporting a suspended conduit in a vehicle and for engaging a tracker bar affixed to a mounting surface of the vehicle includes an extension arm extending away from the mounting surface of the vehicle and configured to support the suspended conduit, a bracket member coupled to the extension arm and configured to engage the tracker bar, a support arm coupled to the bracket member and angularly extending away from the bracket member and toward the mounting surface of the vehicle, and a support member coupled to the support arm and configured to press against the mounting surface of the vehicle.

The mounting features may be any feature allowing a shelf, panel, or the like, to be attached to the vertical bars. A panel may be attached to the second set of vertically spaced apart mounting features and a shelf may be attached to the first set of vertically spaced apart mounting features residing over the panel to provide a finished appearance.

The threaded member may be configured to rotate in a first direction to move farther away from the top surface and a second direction to move closer to the top surface. A first anchor may be configured to connect to the first wall and a second anchor may be configured to connect to the second wall. Abstract: A folding shelf holder is strong and folds easily. A wall side member has a pin as a rotational axis of a shelf side member relative to the wall side member and a rotation limiter limiting rotation of the shelf side member relative to the wall side member. The shelf side member has a long groove for inserting the pin of the wall side member. When the folded shelf side member is opened to be approximately orthogonal to the wall side member and the shelf side member is slid toward the wall side member and in a direction where the long groove extends, the shelf side member abuts, at a back side of the pin, to the rotation limiter of the wall side member, preventing rotation of the shelf side member relative to the wall side member. Then, the shelf side member cannot fold relative to the wall side member.

Abstract: The apparatus of this invention relates to a device for heating or cooking food or liquids such as soup, water, roast, etc. A downwardly curved visor-like deflector is selectively removably positioned outwardly of the upper end of the radiation disk of an infrared heater so as to extend outwardly therefrom. The deflector has an upwardly presented cooking utensil opening formed therein and a horizontally disposed cooking utensil support secured to the deflector at the inner surface thereof below the cooking utensil opening. The cooking utensil support dwells in a plane below the upper end of the radiation disk whereby infrared rays emitted from the radiation disk will impinge upon the cooking utensil support and a cooking utensil positioned on the cooking utensil support to cook or heat the contents thereof. Other accessories may also be attached to the heater such as a protective grill or a cooking basket.

Specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus and kit useful for extending platforms on a roof in which scaffolding can be built upon. The apparatus includes, generally, an anchoring section to attach to the peak of a rooftop or other inclined surface, and an attaching surface to connect the anchoring section to the platform section. Abstract: A cable rack arm and support system suitable for underground power and communication service is made from a non-metallic polymer that will not rust or corrode. The cable rack arm is adapted for mounting to existing underground stanchions or for stanchions of a more modern design. Each cable rack arm is securely mounted to the stanchion. Each cable rack arm then supports one or more cables in cable rests or saddles molded atop the arm, thus keeping the cables accessibly organized in a manhole, tunnel or vault. Plastic cable ties may be used to secure the cables to the cable rack arms. Nonmetallic pins may also be used to secure the cable rack arms to the stanchions. The stanchions may be made of nonmetallic composite material that includes a fiberglass cross-layered knitted apertured mat for increased strength.

The insertion leg inserts into the recess of a corresponding receiver when the abutment support rests on the abutment surface. The weight of the shelf pulls the abutment support into engagement with the abutment surface and pushes the insertion leg into engagement with the recess, holding the shelf horizontally.

Abstract: A fitting including at least one composite material bracket with two flat segments forming an angle less than 180° on an inside of the bracket and an angle greater than 180° on an outside of the bracket, together with a stiffener extending on the inside of the bracket between the two flat segments is disclosed. The bracket presents a slot crossing a straight line between the two flat segments, the slot extending into the two flat segments. The stiffener is folded in register with the slot and includes tabs fastened to each of the two flat segments.
