Abstract: A suspension holder and a frame unit thereof are provided. The frame unit includes a main segment, a suspension segment, and a holding segment. The main segment is in an elongated shape defining a longitudinal direction. The main segment includes a selecting portion, two long lateral edges, a first mating portion, and a second mating portion, the latter two of which are spaced apart from the selecting portion along the longitudinal direction. The suspension segment and the holding segment extend from the two long lateral edges of the main segment, respectively. The selecting portion selectively geometrically corresponds with the first mating portion or the second mating portion.

Abstract: The present invention provides an adhesion-type holding structure mounted onto a wall comprising: a main attaching member including a holding portion for bearing an external object, and an adhering portion for adhering to a wall; a backup attaching member including an adhering portion for adhering to a wall; and a safety mechanism including a replacement device disposed between the main attaching member and the backup attaching member. When the main attaching member and the backup attaching member are attached to a wall on positions close to each other and the main attaching member comes loose from the wall and falls down, the backup attaching member can prevent, by means of the replacement device, the main attaching member from falling down, and timely replaces the main attaching member to hold the holding portion.

Abstract: A pool caddy for stowing an automatic pool cleaner includes a support tube for providing structural support to the pool caddy. A deck mount disposed on the support tube secures the pool caddy to a pool deck edge. A container disposed on the support tube is configured to hold the automatic pool cleaner. A retainer disposed on the container is configured to secure the automatic pool cleaner to the container and to the support tube. A suction cup disposed on the support tube secures the pool caddy to a pool surface.

Abstract: There is provided a display device for supporting a plurality of items for selection by an individual, comprising: at least one elongate member for receiving said items thereon; and a head member pivotally mounted to a free end of the elongate member, the head member having an arm portion and an end projection extending substantially perpendicular to the arm portion: the head member being movable between a biased position wherein the arm portion extends substantially parallel to said elongate member to permit sliding movement of an item past said arm portion and an engaged position wherein the arm portion extends outside of a planar axis of the elongate member to prevent sliding movement of an item past the arm portion; wherein movement of said head member between said biased position and said engaged position is facilitated by sliding movement of a leading item over said end projection.

Abstract: A combination clip and hook (clip) for use generally in suspending articles, which is rotatably movable about a rotary joint between a first position in which two opposing, rotatably joined portions of the overall clip structure are oriented together to form a continuous, enclosed shape that can be secured around another, and a second position in which the two portions of the structure are rotated out of the enclosed shape, and into, for example, a S shaped hook where one portion of the structure supports the item and the other portion can be applied to another supporting member. The joint between the two portions can define a spring-loaded rotating pivot assembly with at least two indexing positions opposed by 180 degrees. The rotary joint can be constructed with a pair of confronting male and female wedge and detent inserts that are biased toward each other by an embedded spring assembly.

Abstract: A hanger for suspending an object from a supporting surface. An exemplary hanger may include a base mountable to a supporting surface, the base including a hook portion providing an upwardly opening gap, and a receiver pivotably mounted adjacent to a distal edge of the hook portion, the receiver being pivotable between an open position in which the receiver and the gap provide an aperture wider than the gap for receiving a supporting device connected to an object and a closed position in which the receiver substantially overlaps the gap. Some exemplary embodiments may include a magnet mounted to the receiver.

Abstract: A retractable accessory hook assembly for a vehicle. A housing has a cavity with an opening. A hook is pivotably coupled to the housing and is movable between a stowed position substantially within the cavity and a deployed position at least partially extending from the opening of the cavity. A cover is also pivotably coupled to the housing and is configured to selectably close off at least a portion of the opening of the cavity. The cover is movable from a closed position proximate the housing to an open position away from the housing while the hook is being moved to a stowed or deployed position. The cover is also movable from the open position to the closed position to retain the hook in either the stowed or deployed positions.

Abstract: A wall-mounted storage rack assembly facilitates storage of articles such as bicycles, lawn care implements, tools, and the like by providing a pair of independently pivotally movable support arms, which are pivotally supported on an associated mounting bracket. The support arms are independently movable about respective pivot axes arranged in intersecting, angular relationship to each other, whereby in a lowered position of the support arms, they are arranged in a generally V-shaped, diverging orientation, while in a raised position of the support arms, they are positioned more closely together in a relatively compact configuration. By this compact configuration, efficient storage, shipment, and display for retail sales of the storage rack assembly is promoted.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus, for storage device defining a securing hole, including a bracket configured to receive the storage device. Two securing members are attached to the bracket sidewall. Each of the securing members includes an actuating end, a securing end engaged with the storage device securing hole, and a pivot portion formed between the actuating end and the securing end that is pivotally attached to the bracket sidewall. A spring member is secured to the sidewall of the bracket between the two securing members. The spring member includes two resilient arms biased against the two securing members respectively.

Abstract: The invention generally relates to a case to hold a portable electronic device. The case may be a holder for a personal media player and includes a clip, a cradle, a swivel mechanism, and a connector mechanism. The clip has elastic properties. The cradle includes a pair of cradle bases and is configured to hold the personal media player. The swivel mechanism is connected to the cradle. The connector mechanism is positioned to retain the clip to the swivel mechanism and is configured to permit movement in at least two axes.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a hook for suspending an object. The hook is fixed on a bracket with at least one pillar and comprises at least one hook groove, a shaft, and a locking member. The hook groove receives the pillar. Each hook groove has a first opening defined between two projecting portions extending from the hook. The locking member is adjacent to one hook groove and comprises a locking part pivotally engaging the shaft and defining a locking groove with a second opening between two end portions thereof One of the two end portions and one projecting portions opposite to the one end portions cooperatively defines a locking opening. The locking opening has an opening dimension smaller than dimension of the pillar. When the hook engages the bracket, the opposing end portion and projecting portion press against the pillar to hold the pillar in the locking groove.

Abstract: A hook assembly enables a user to stow handbags and the like underneath tables or similar other support structures. The hook assembly comprises a hook support and a hook member pivotally attached thereto. The hook support comprises an attachment surface and a hook-receiving depression. The hook member is pivotal intermediate a hook-withdrawn position and a hook-extended position. The depression is sized and shaped for housing the hook member when in the hook-withdrawn position. The table-attachment surface may be fixedly attached to the inferior support surface, and the hook actuation end may effectively function to receive and hang articles when the hook member is in the hook-extended position.

Abstract: A hook device for securement to the substantially horizontal, bottom surface of a table top, bar top, or the like for supporting personal items. The hook device includes a base, a hook, and an attachment mechanism pivotally securing the hook to the base. The attachment mechanism includes a torsion spring that biases the hook into a stored position in which the hook is substantially parallel to the bottom surface of the table top. To use the hook, the hook is pivoted away from the table surface and a personal item, such as a purse, handbag, backpack, coat, or the like is placed on the hook. Once the personal item is removed, the hook returns to its stored position.

Abstract: A one-hand clip of the present invention is composed of a main body, a pair of semicircular hooks a pair of rotating pins and a pair of elastic bodies. The hooks each fixed by a rotating pin and an elastic body at each bottom end of the main body pinches an inserted object by the power created by the spring of the elastic bodies as well as by the weight of the inserted object to be hung. Inserting or detaching operation is accomplished by an upward movement of the inserted object thus requiring little power or skill of the user.

Abstract: A detachable folding clotheshorse includes a seat with a top side, a bottom side and an outer periphery. The seat has a plurality of slots defined through the seat from the top side to the bottom. A notch is defined at the outer periphery of the seat. A supporting edge is formed beneath the notch. Two protrusions are formed at two inner walls of the slot adjacent the notch. A plurality of arms is respectively and pivotally mounted in the slots. Each of the arms has two channels longitudinally and respectively defined at two sides facing the protrusions. Two openings are respectively defined at top-rear ends of the channel for access of the protrusion to the channel. Whereby, the arms can be quickly and easily attached to and detached from the seat.

Abstract: An expandable gutter bracket having a gutter support arm is connected to a centrally disposed onto mounting portion, or web, with two spaced apart flanges extending substantially perpendicularly from opposing edges of the mounting portion, in the direction opposite the gutter support arm. The distance between the flanges is selectively provided by the mounting portion to be approximately equal to the thickness of a rafter extension and may be substantially parallel or slightly angled in order to provide a frictional fit on a rafter extension. Various configurations of the mounting portion are provided to select the appropriate thickness, including a plurality of attachments that pass through the gutter support arm and connect to each end of the flanges or two respective halves of a two-piece web.

Abstract: A system for supporting a suspended ceiling and for supporting fixtures below the suspended ceiling. The suspended ceiling includes an inverted, T-shaped grid of structural members. A mounting clip is provided that comprises two parts. A first, fixed part includes a first, horizontal leg, a second leg that depends from the first leg, and a third leg depending from the second leg. A second, reversible part comprises a central body with first and second ends. The central body includes either a locating hook or an aperture at each of the first and second ends that mates with a corresponding complementarily-shaped locating hook or aperture on the first and third legs of the first part of the clip. The second part of the mounting clip is also relieved adjacent each end. The relieved portions are of different shapes from each other so that the mounting clip can accommodate differently-shaped structural members.

A second arm has a distal end, a proximal end and a middle portion. The distal end of the second arm is integrally coupled to the second end of the base portion. The second arm extends away from the base portion. A latch portion has a first end and a second end. The first end of the latch portion is coupled to the proximal end of the second arm by a hinge. The latch portion has a length such that the second end of the latch portion is abutted against an interior surface of the first arm.

Abstract: A movable projection screen hanger with steadfast clips is provided where the upper surface and inward side surface of the hanger are each respectively provided with a sliding rail. Each steadfast clip is secured to a preferred position on a wall. Each steadfast clip is composed by a main body and a pulling button. On the bottom end and near the central position of the inner side surface of the main body a hook block and a reinforcing block are respectively provided to respectively engage the sliding rail on the inward side surface of the hanger and to act as a stop against side surface of the hanger. A pair of catching flanges are formed on the bottom of the pulling button to engage the sliding rail on the upper surface of the hanger, so that each steadfast clip on a wall firmly secures the hanger.

A locking projection closes the introduction slot in the locking position and releases the outer support shaft in the locking position.

Abstract: Outer support bracket for an outer support shaft of an automobile sun visor. The bracket having a mounting member which can be fastened to a surface of the body of the car. An introduction slot is provided between an arm on the mounting member and the mounting member itself for the introduction of the outer support shaft. A locking element which can pivot about an axis spaced from the introduction slot between a locking position and an unlocking position. A locking projection closes the introduction slot in the locking position and releases the outer support shaft in the unlocking position.

Abstract: An ornament hanger comprising an elongated loop shaped structure having an arcuate ornament supporting portion at one end and an attachment portion at the other end. A bendable closure member cooperates with the supporting portion to inhibit ornaments from disengaging from the ornament hanger. A part of the arcuate ornament supporting portion has an enlarged cross section with respect to other parts of the arcuate ornament supporting portion to provide strengthening of the supporting portion permitting heavy ornaments to be supported by the ornament hanger. The enlarged cross-sectional portion is dumbbell shaped. A part of the dumb bell shaped enlarged portion being asymmetrical such that one end of the enlarged portion in cross section is larger than the other end.

Abstract: A device for clamping the wires of a string of decorative lights to Christmas tree branches is formed of a wholly integral length of flexible, but normally shape-retaining material doubled back on itself from opposite ends thereof at opposite sides of a diagonally oriented, substantially central part of the length of material to provide oppositely directed, open loop clamping portions whose openings are at respective opposite sides of but at the central part of the length of material. The flexible material is such that an opening to an open loop can expand to accept branches to be received and held in a clamping loop along with light string wires and can be rotated to open the opening when release of a branch is desired. A loop of the device is selected for clamping to a branch leaving the other loop to serve as a handle for manipulating the device and thereafter free for receiving a Christmas tree decoration.

Abstract: A CDU hanger mount assembly and hanger is provided. The mount assembly and hanger allows the CDU to be supported by an object for supporting the CDU while the connecting point between the hanger mount and the pivot end of the hanger may be selectively moved from a point midway between the front and back of the CDU top toward the back of the CDU. This allows the CDU to be less displaced from the vertical upon displacing contact with an object such as a bedframe piece. The hanger and hanger mount assembly allows the alignment of the indicia on the CDU with the top surface of the material collected in the CDU to be a more accurate representation of the actual volume of material collected in the CDU. The mount assembly and hanger may also be used with medical devices other than CDUs.

Abstract: A peg hook for dispensing suspended packages or other articles has a resilient tongue near its front end for preventing removal of more than one article at a time. The hook is preferably formed as one piece of plastic material and has spaced fingers for fitting into holes in a pegboard backing panel so that the hook extends horizontally.

Abstract: A seating system includes seat and back internal support frames disposed within respective foam-filled seat and back cushions which each have an outer fabric cover. The back assembly is provided with a pair of quick-release clip locks, while the seat assembly includes a plurality of support hooks in combination with mounting brackets and locking mechanism to facilitate quick mounting and removal of the seat from a support frame such as a wheelchair base. The seat and back assemblies are coupled together in a pivoting manner by means of a handle assembly which alows the seat to be compactly folded and easily carried when removed from a support base. The back inner support frame includes upper and lower support subassemblies pivotally coupled by means of a hinge joint which allows for extension of the lumbar region when the upper support subassembly is moved rearwardly to a reclined position.

Abstract: To enable mail bags to be disengaged from a bag rack without lifting, bag hooks are provided with a constant radius curvature about a pivotal axis and are equipped with a handle for enabling them to be rotatively manually biased so that when used alone or in conjunction with fixed top bag supporting posts, a filled mail bag may be released from a bag rack and closed without requiring strenuous physical exertion on the part of a postal worker.

Abstract: The improved swivel hook assembly of the invention features fixed mounting of a housing portion to a ceiling or other extended surface area, as by a screw assembly or the like, and releasable mounting of a hook portion to the housing for rotation therein. The hook portion can be connected to and rotated in the housing so as to adjustably position an article when connected to the hook portion. Means may be provided for engaging and disengaging the hook portion and housing while the hook portion is in the housing so as to prevent or permit free rotation of the hook relative to the housing.The hook may be divided into a plurality of segments spring biased towards each other into an openable closed loop to releasably secure an article on the hook. Limit means may also be provided on the hook and a push-pull handle may be provided on a closure for releasably sealing the hook in the housing. The assembly thus has improved utility and convenience.

Abstract: A securing or latching supporting hook comprises a U-shaped hook member adapted for rotation about a horizontal axis and having an elongated distal leg portion which cooperates with a generally horizontally extending member to provide a latching effect. The hook member is rotatably mounted such that in the rest position thereof, the hook member lies in a vertical plane with the curved or bight portion thereof in a lowermost position. When in the rest position, the tip of the distal leg portion is disposed in proximity to the horizontal member so as to prevent accidental removal of articles hung on the hook member. The hook member is rotated to a release position, wherein the distal end is remote from the horizontal member to permit removal of articles from the hook member.
