Abstract: An easel board support is installed on an easel supporting leg for suspending and supporting objects and the height thereof is adjustable. The easel board support comprises a sleeve and a board support body. The sleeve is capable of being inserted by an easel supporting leg and have two pivotal ears each having through hole. A part of the sleeve at an inner side of the pivotal ear has a slot. An elastic press is formed between the two slots. By a large contact surface between the press piece and the supporting leg, the board support is positioned stably; and by the resisting effect between a resisting block and the sleeve, the board support will not fall downwards. The press can be replaced by a receiving groove formed between the two pivotal ears and a cambered pressing block installed in the receiving groove.

Abstract: A clamp includes a locking element (4) and an element (6) for hooking to a support (3). The hooking element (6) is made integral with the locking element and is equipped with first hooking means (14) and second hooking means (16), which are of different types and are located on opposite sides of the hooking element (6). The locking element (4) includes a pair of jaws (18) that are arranged to mate together and are made integral, on either side, with the hooking element, as well as detachable locking means (26, 27, 28) for connecting the jaws (18) together in a working position in which the jaws (18) lie essentially parallel and abut one another.

Abstract: A pipe clamp arrangement that includes a body having a tab extending therefrom, a clamp for receiving pipe, and a threaded member having a first end attached to the clamp. The threaded member is threadably secured to the body and a second end of the threaded member is adapted to contact the tab. Rotation of the threaded member adjusts a longitudinal distance between the clamp and the body.

Abstract: A vertically adjustable bracket for mounting a valance to a headrail includes a clip having a tongue and an arm for attachment to a headrail. A slide has a groove which receives the tongue and a twist and lock cam connector which releasably and lockingly engages an elongated groove on the rear of a valance. A rib on the slide and a ridged surface on the tongue make the bracket adjustable in small increments. Another embodiment includes a second tongue and groove connection which makes the horizontal distance between the valance and the headrail similarly adjustable.

Abstract: A quick holder includes a bottom housing, a cover, two clamping members, and a tensile spring. The tensile spring is urged between the retaining posts of the two clamping members conveniently, so that the two opposite clamping members may be used to clamp the paper by a single tensile spring, thereby simplifying the whole structure, and thereby decreasing the difficulty of assembly.

Abstract: In a conduit system subject to longitudinal conduit twisting, a staking device for fixing the conduit in position on a ground surface has a clamping apparatus having gripping elements on an inside surface of an opening substantially the size and shape of a cross section of the conduit, the clamping element openable to fit over the conduit and closable to clamp to the conduit such that the conduit may not rotate relative to the clamping element, a stake adapter mounted to the clamping apparatus, the stake adapter having a sleeve opening with an opening of a first size first and a longitudinal axis substantially tangential to the clamping element, and a stake having a length and substantially the first diameter to slide into the sleeve opening and into the ground surface, to pin the conduit securely to the ground surface, preventing rotation of the conduit.

Abstract: A device for securing a hydraulic modulator to a vehicle includes a base for receiving a portion of the hydraulic modulator and a clamp movably connected to the base and movable between a first position, wherein the portion of the hydraulic modulator can be positioned on the base, and a second position, wherein the clamp is closed over the base to secure the portion of the hydraulic modulator to the base. The clamp includes a projection that extends over the base when the clamp is in the first position so that when the projection is engaged by the portion of the hydraulic modulator, the projection will automatically move the clamp from the first position toward the second position. In one aspect of the invention, the clamp is hinged to the base.

Abstract: A device for securing a hydraulic modulator to a vehicle includes a base for receiving a portion of the hydraulic modulator and a clamp movably connected to the base and movable between a first position, wherein the portion of the hydraulic modulator can be positioned on the base, and a second position, wherein the clamp is closed over the base to secure the portion of the hydraulic modulator to the base. The clamp includes a projection that extends over the base when the clamp is in the first position so that when the projection is engaged by the portion of the hydraulic modulator, the projection will automatically move the clamp from the first position toward the second position. In one aspect of the invention, the clamp is hinged to the base.

Abstract: A clamp for use with a cross bar of an existing vehicle article carrier to allow accessory vehicle article carrier components to be secured to the cross bar. The clamp includes a base portion and a clamp element hingedly coupled to the base portion. A locking assembly allows the clamp element to be secured to the base portion without any external tools. The locking assembly includes an over-center locking lever which can be pretightened before being moved from an unlatched into a latched position to thus allow a pre-tightening force to be applied to the clamp element. The clamp element also includes a C-shaped channel for receiving a tap plate or other similar component associated with an accessory article carrier component.

Abstract: Promotional devices configured to removably support articles (e.g., papers, photographs, etc.) for viewing are provided. A device includes a housing and a pair of arms pivotally disposed within the housing in adjacent spaced-apart relationship. The housing includes a base portion that is configured to be supported on a surface and an upper portion that is movably secured to the base portion. The housing upper portion is movable between a distal position and a proximal position relative to the housing base portion. Movement of the housing upper portion from the distal position to the proximal position causes the upper end portions of the arms to separate so that an article can be placed therebetween. The arms are urged together so as to retain the article placed therebetween and the housing upper portion is moved to the distal position.

Abstract: A rod hanger which includes a pair of similarly constructed brackets, each having a mounting plate and a connected generally C-shaped portion connected thereto defining an opening and a complementary latch pivotally connected to one end of the fixed portion to swing between open and closed position. The latch includes a pair of flexible arms provided with opposed outwardly extending flanges and a catch detent formed at the free ends thereof whereby the flanges are arranged to engage in complementary grooves formed in the other end of the C-shaped portion, and the catch detent engaging a transversely extending lip so as to prohibit any unintentional unlatching of the latch. The arrangement is such that the latch is rendered self-locking in the closed position, and rendered readily releasable upon the application of a positive squeezing force on the flexible arms. Abstract: A textile hanging system for receiving and displaying a flexible textile sheet in a vertical manner. The textile hanging system includes a first support member pivotally attached to a second support member, a first engaging member and a second engaging member attached to the first support member and the second support member respectively, a first member and a second member attached to a distal end of the first support member and the second support member respectively, and a pair of end members having a receiving slot that selectively engage the first member and the second member for retaining the support members juxtaposed to one another. The engaging members are positioned within the opposing inner surfaces of the support members and are positioned opposite of the pivot portion thereof. The textile sheet is positioned between the support members and the support members are compressed against the textile sheet by the end members being positioned about the first member and the second member.

Abstract: A device useful for supporting decorative light strings or other articles from a brick wall, the device having an expander, retainer, mounting clip for decorative bulb and socket assemblies, and threaded fastener, the expander being insertable into a mortar groove, the retainer having teeth adapted to engage bricks surrounding the mortar groove when the retainer is tightened against the expander by the fastener, and a mounting clip attached to the retainer.

A flexible locking piece (21) projects from an open end of the first half-annular part (20). A through-hole (22) is located at an inner side of the first half-annular part (20). A locking bracket (B) which is located on a vehicle body is inserted into the through-hole (22). A second locking claw (21a) projects from the lower end of an outer surface of the locking piece (21). The second locking claw (21a) locks the first half annular (20) part and the second half annular (30) part together. A first locking claw (21b) projects from the upper end of an inner surface of the locking piece (21). The first locking claw (21b) locks into the locking bracket (B). The second half-annular part (30) has a box-shaped frame (31) at an open end thereof to accommodate the locking piece (21) and the locking bracket.

Abstract: A vertical hanger fixing seat is disclosed, which is suitable in the cloth bag for hanging hangers. Each groove and hanger are spaced with an equal space and are assembled obliquely. Therefore, when hanging the hanger, a proper gap is formed. Furthermore, by the buckling effect of the buckle, the hangers are confined so as to have a proper fixedness.

Abstract: A hanger support comprises a base comprising a vertical projection having a pivotal member at an upper end, a plurality of hanging grooves, a plurality of arc members each alternate with one of the hanging grooves, an upwardly raised tab at one end of the projection, and a lower flat abutted the tab. A pivotal engagement mechanism hinges to the other end of the projection of the base. The engagement mechanism comprises an opening at the free end and a slope on one edge of the opening; and a pair of parallel pad members on the bottom of the engagement mechanism; wherein the engagement mechanism is rotatable to cause the flat to contact the bottom of the engagement mechanism with the tab fastened in the opening by engaging the tab with the slope so that a plurality of hangers hung on the hanging grooves are clamped by the pad members in a locked state of the hanger support device. The fastening/unfastening of a hanger is by simply pivoting the engagement mechanism.

Abstract: A paper holder (100) comprising a base (10), a pair of front and rear jaws (21 & 22) provided on the base (10) for gripping a sheet of document by its lower end to holder generally upright. A hinge (30) connects the front jaw (21) to the base (10) for pivotal movement relative to the rear jaw (22) for opening and closing the jaws (21 & 22). A spring (35) resiliently biasses the front jaw (21) towards the rear jaw (22). The front jaw (21) has an upper surface (23A) extending over and above the base (10) for pressing by a user to pivot the front jaw (21) away from the rear jaw (22) against the action of the spring (35). The jaws (21 & 22) have respective inner surfaces (25A & 26A) for gripping, which are of comparable size as each other and are curved in a complementary manner.

Abstract: A jointed clamp for attachment to an inside portion of the top of a garment bag has a pair of clamp jaws pivotal connected at their back ends with a hinge pin, and a latching device for releasibly securing the clamp jaws in a closed position. Each of the clamp jaws includes an elongate U-shaped channel, a resilient block seated in the channel and a transversely extending rivet located at the front end of and extending through the resilient block and channel walls. A vertical member is mounted in and extends between the two clamp jaws in a rearward portion thereof, forward of the hinge pin. The resilient block contacts the vertical member which prevents rearward longitudinal movement within the channel. One of the clamp jaws is provided with a plurality of indentations to hold the hooks of coat hangers, and this same clamp jaw is also provided with a vertical tab in the front portion thereof which engages the front end of the seated block.

Abstract: A method and device for hanging elevator pads. An elevator pad clamp is disclosed that includes a back plate having an attachment end for holding the back plate in relation to an elevator wall and having two wing segments extending away from a surface of the back plate. A clamp plate is hinged to the wing segments at a clamp axis, and a spring is hinged to the wing segments and positioned to bias the clamp plate in a first state. A lever portion is hinged to the wing segments at a lever axis. The lever portion has an urging member shaped to urge against a first surface of the clamp plate as the lever portion is rotated about the lever axis to cause the clamp plate to rotate about the clamp axis. The clamping device has two states. In an open state the clamp plate and the back plate define an open set of elevator-pad receiving jaws. The device may remain in the open state without depressing the lever. In a closed state, the jaws are closed and locked.

Abstract: A trimmer rack for selectively supporting grass trimmers on a trailer. The trimmer rack includes two support members. Bracket members are attached to one of the support members so as to retain and support one end of the trimmers. Trimmer rack mechanisms are provided on the other support member for selectively supporting and lockingly retaining the other end of the trimmers. The trimmer rack mechanisms include a hook member attached to the support member and a pivot arm selectively pivotable thereover between closed and open positions. A lock mechanism is provided for selectively locking the pivot arm in its closed position. An abutment wall is selectively attached to the hook member and is adjustable for increasing and decreasing the trimmer retaining area.

Abstract: A textile hanging system for receiving and displaying a flexible textile sheet in a vertical manner. The textile hanging system includes a first support member pivotally attached to a second support member, a first engaging member and a second engaging member attached to the first support member and the second support member respectively, a first member and a second member attached to a distal end of the first support member and the second support member respectively, and a pair of end members having a receiving slot that selectively engage the first member and the second member for retaining the support members juxtaposed to one another. The engaging members are positioned within the opposing inner surfaces of the support members and are positioned opposite of the pivot portion thereof. The textile sheet is positioned between the support members and the support members are compressed against the textile sheet by the end members being positioned about the first member and the second member.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a rug clip for hanging a rug from a door of a display rack. The rug clip includes a channel-shaped bracket including a top portion having a bottom surface, a front leg extending from a first edge of the top portion, and a rear leg extending from a second edge of the top portion opposite the first edge, wherein the front leg and the rear leg are approximately perpendicular in relation to the top portion. A clipping mechanism is mounted to the front leg for gripping the rug. And a non-slip material is attached to the bottom surface of the top portion to prevent the rug clip from sliding off the end of the door when the door is swung about its hinges.

Abstract: An item holding device, having a multi-segmented arm wherein each segment is connected to each adjacent segment by a swivel joint having a substantial fictional resistance to motion, wherein a first quick release clamp is provided on one end of the arm, wherein a second such clamp or the base of an item is provided on the other end of the arm, and wherein the first clamp is adapted for gripping an action-site member whereby an item can be held in a desired position at the action-site.

Abstract: A cane holder for holding upright a walking cane at the side of a bed has a generally planar frame to be inserted between a mattress and a box spring of a bed. A clamp on a side of the frame protrudes to one side of the bed. A walking cane held in the clamp provides a convenient hold for a person rising from the bed. The cane can then be released from the clamp for use as a walking aid away from the bed. A preferred walking cane has a foldable mid-height hand grip in addition to a top handle to provide two holds at different heights on the cane.

Abstract: A hook clamp has surfaces allowing the clamp to be placed on a support and clamped thereto. The surfaces are such that the clamp can be placed on the support and its weight held by the support prior to tightening. The clamp has a built-in connector for supplying power to the lamp. The clamp has one or more fail-safe holes for securing the clamp to the support with a safety cable. The clamp also has one or more flanges that can be received by a separate mounting bracket, for mounting the clamp and any attached element during storage, staging, or when otherwise not being used.

Abstract: A mounting bracket useful for securing a base, such as an antenna to a pole, a tube or a post, or a similar anchor support, and including a first clamp part, being a base clamp, to be secured to the base (the antenna) adapted to be locked against the pole, and a second clamp part, being tightening clamp, adapted to partly embrace the pole and to be tightened to the base clamp with the pole clamped therebetween, preferably by a screw-nut connection on each side of the pole. The tightening clamp, is formed with two elongated slots extending in the longitudinal direction of the clamp, a first slot of which may be closed and the second slot of which is open at the end of the clamp.

Abstract: A visor docking arrangement is provided for a removable transmitter device. The docking arrangement includes a base portion formed with a hinge, such as a living hinge, to allow the base portion to be folded upon itself. One side of the folded base portion is formed as a receiving slot arranged to receive and retain the removable transmitter device. A plurality of mounting pins formed in the base portion on one side of the hinge are arranged to push through the visor and latch with a plurality of mounting holes formed in the base portion on an opposing side of the hinge. A latch or snapping arrangement is formed with the receiving slot so as to latch the removable transmitter device upon insertion into the receiving slot.

Abstract: A bowholder for supporting an archery bow on a fixed or movable structure, and particularly adapted for supporting an archery bow on a cargo carrier rack or the like of a motor vehicle, such as an all terrain vehicle (ATV), includes an elongated tubular frame member supported on spaced-apart support blocks which are mountable on a cargo carrier rack by releasable fastener assemblies. The frame member supports spaced-apart U-shaped bow limb support brackets which are mounted for pivotal movement on the frame member and are connected to pivot levers which, in turn, are connected to opposite ends of an elastically stretchable strap member. Opposite ends of the pivot levers form handles for rotating the U-shaped brackets against the bias of the elastic strap member to receive and release opposed limbs of an archery bow disposed in the U-shaped brackets, respectively. A fitted fabric cover includes an elastic hem and drawstrings for securing the cover tightly over the bowholder with a bow supported thereon.
