Abstract: A parts retaining panel, especially useful in assembling the timing drive of an internal combustion engine, retains the timing components in the same arrangement that they are in when mounted on the engine. The parts can be stored and transported on stacked retaining panels, and, after the parts are mounted on the engine, the panel 32 is removed and reused. The parts retaining panel reduces assembly time, and prevents mounting of improper parts and inadvertent omission of parts.

Abstract: A peripheral mounting system for installing, removing and replacing peripheral devices from a chassis without the use of tools. A pair of side brackets secured to the chassis provide slots into which fasteners connected to the side of the peripheral device are installed to restrain the peripheral device. In an embodiment, clips protruding outward from the side of the slots allow the fasteners to slide into position while also retaining the peripheral device in the installed position. The pair of side brackets in conjunction with the fasteners on the peripheral device provide a means for mounting the peripheral device without requiring additional area above or below the peripheral device. A cover latching mechanism may securely latch the cover closed and provides additional retention of the peripheral device in the vertical direction.

Abstract: The bolster assembly jig system is provided that includes a lower support, left and right fixed supports mounted on the lower support, and upper and lower horizontal bars extending between the left and right fixed supports to interconnect the same. Left and right lower fixing templates are mounted on the lower support to support a bolster assembly. Bumper beam fixing templates are formed on the left and right fixing supports to support a front bumper rail. Left and right upper fixing templates are provided above the upper horizontal bar for supporting a radiator support upper center panel. A lower clamping unit is provided on the lower horizontal bar to support the front bumper rail, and an upper clamping unit is mounted on the upper horizontal bar and connected through a template fixing arm to the left and right upper fixing templates to enable operation of the same.

Abstract: A one-piece post anchor for securing a post to a support structure including four identically shaped side members, each member comprising a curvilinear planar member having a concave shape extending from a top edge outwardly to a bottom-edge. The four side members are positioned in a rectangular pattern with the top edges forming a rectangular opening, and the bottom edges forming a rectangularly-shaped base. The base has a cross-sectional area greater than the cross-sectional area of the rectangular opening. Further, four identically shaped interior members are positioned in a rectangular pattern within the rectangular opening to form a rectangular channel through the post anchor. A plurality of support flanges are fastened to each interior member and corresponding side member for additional structural support. Openings are provided in each side member to receive a screw for mounting the post anchor to a post and to the support structure.

Abstract: A locator for a material sheet comprises at least two oppositely disposed stoppers, and a slot sheet. Each of the stoppers provides a flat bearing surface and a slant surface extending outward and upward from the bearing surface with a junction between them. The slot sheet is disposed under the stoppers and joining to a bottom of the respective stopper. The distance between the junctions on the two stoppers is corresponding to the length of the slot sheet.

Abstract: A decorative bow base includes a substrate having a chamber defined therein, an attachment device received in the chamber, an engaging face formed on top of the chamber and an adhesive element securely attached to a bottom of the substrate. A support has a space defined to adapt to securely receive therein a decorative bow, a bottom face formed on a bottom of the support to be securely engaged with the engaging face of the substrate.

Abstract: A folding power tool stand elevating device, the stand having fixed height x-shaped ground-engaging legs which pivot about a central horizontal axis and which support an upper power tool support platform thereatop. The device includes a plurality of elongated upright support members, each of which is individually connectable with the lower corners of the legs. An elongated upright extension is slidably engaged with each support member whereby each extension may be independently vertically lockably positioned to extend downwardly. An enlarged ground-engaging pad is attached to a lower end of each said extension whereby each pad may be independently vertically adjusted and secured to establish a desired height greater than the fixed height of the stand and level orientation of the power tool support platform, even atop irregular terrain. An alternate self-contained embodiment includes a perimeter frame carrying support members and extensions.

Abstract: A lap stabilization device includes a support tray, and at least one strap which is routed around and removably secured to the legs of a seated person to provide a stabilized work surface. The stabilized work surface can be used to secure a laptop computer, or any other object which requires stabilization on the lap of the person. In the first embodiment, the lap stabilization device comprises the support tray and at least one strap. In the second embodiment, the lap stabilization device can further include a lid thereby providing storage capacity for a laptop computer in the form of a laptop computer carrying case. Various structures are disclosed for attaching the stabilization device to the lap of the user. A retracting mechanism can be used to store and to selectively feed a desired length of securing strap for securing the stabilization device to the lap of the user.

Aperture 14 is substantially circular and is provided with cutouts 14a to provide flexibility. Upstanding walls 16, 18, are provide, one at each end of the base 12. A first lip 20 extends orthogonally away from the wall 16 in a second plane and a second lip 22 extends orthogonally away from the wall 18, also in the second plane. The second plane is substantially parallel to the first plane but spaced therefrom. Flags 24, 26 are formed, respectively, with the lips 20, 22, the flags extending away from the lips in a plane transverse to the first and second planes. Extended ends of a light source are accommodated into the apertures 14 and the lips and walls of the clips frictionally engage an interior surface of a shroud.

The device consists of a flat surface (back plate) with holes and dowels to tack the individual primary turkey tail feathers in a desired drying position. Also, the lower section of the back plate consists of a tray used to contain a chemical that will hasten the drying time. A stabilizing block is placed in the chemical tray over the meaty part of the turkey tail and fastened to the back plate with a bolt and wing nut. The device and the turkey tail can then be placed upright in a small space, or hung on a nail or screw using the slot on the rear of the back plate, for the drying duration.

Abstract: An adjustable mounting bracket includes two frames juxtaposed to slide on each other and attached by nuts and bolts. Each of the two frames is essentially U-shaped with an internal T-shaped opening. The T-shaped opening is formed by a shoe plate formed between the end plate and two side plates. Slots and holes in the shoe plate are used to connect the two frames together and adjust the central working space for use with either a circular saw or a router. Slots in the shoe plate in conjunction with locking pieces are used to attach the power hand tool to the mounting bracket. The length of the mounting bracket is adjustable to be suitable for power hand tools such as a circular saw or a router that have different sizes. Consequently, the user only needs to use a single mounting bracket so material and cost are saved. Furthermore, the two frames of the present invention are identical so that the frames are easy to be manufactured.

Abstract: A dual-function balloon weight is provided having a base member that provides first and second attachment points for securing balloons to the base member. A first attachment point is provided at one position on the base member for tying individual balloons to the base member at this first position. The second attachment point is provided at a second position on the base member for securing a multitude of balloons thereto to provide a balloon bouquet. At the second attachment point, a multitude of balloons can be secured to a retention member that couples with the base member of the balloon weight. Thus, the balloon weight of the present invention is a dual-function balloon weight in that individual balloons may be secured thereto as with common balloon weights and, additionally or alternatively, a multitude of balloons can be attached thereto to provide a balloon bouquet.

The supporting structures are constructed and arranged to move through a range of adjustable movements wherein a horizontal distance between the pairs of confining surfaces is adjustable to allow CPU's of various sizes to be supported by the assembly. The stop posts are located on the surface of the locator bed by conical seat portions. The biasing posts are placed over studs fastened to the bed surface, and hoop springs are captured between the studs and the biasing posts.

An inflation device for pressurizing the bladder is located within the shell. A manual or air compressor inflation device operation are contemplated. A pressure release valve in full communication with the bladder prevents bladder inflation above a pre-selected threshold and also is activated to release a beverage container from the inventive cup holder.

Abstract: A triangular planar member defines, through its thickness, four screw generally circular holes. The four holes may be disposed in relative relation to one another so as to generally define the corners of a rectangle. At the corners of the triangular planar member are corner couplers such as suction cups. The suction cups attach the adapter to the smooth surface. The holes in the adapter are utilized to accept screws in order to adapt, via the triangular planar member, a screw-mounted device to the smooth surface onto which it is either not possible or not desirable to screw-mount the device directly. In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the triangular planar member defines one hole and three slots for greater adaptability in terms of the types of devices it may receive.

Abstract: A vehicle auxiliary-lamp mounting assembly (10) consisting of a lamp-housing bracket (12) which has attached a resilient latch insert (50), and a lamp-housing mounting bracket (100) which incorporates a latch receptor (116). The lamp housing bracket (12) is adjustably attached to the sides of a vehicle auxiliary lamp (200), and the lamp-housing mounting bracket (100) is attached to a vehicle structure. When the resilient latch insert (50) is inserted into the latch receptor (116) the vehicle auxiliary lamp (200) is secured. Normally, a conventional vehicle lamp mounting assembly cannot be easily attached adjacent to a corner structure because there is insufficient space to insert and tighten a bolt or nut into the lamp mounting assembly. By utilizing the vehicle auxiliary-lamp mounting assembly (10) the problem of attaching and detaching a lamp assembly adjacent to a corner structure is solved.

Abstract: A base pad for supporting an appliance during assembly and shipping is provided. The pad has a pair of endpieces, each having portions for supporting the weight of an appliance, a pair of crosspieces connected to the endpieces to form a substantially rectangular base, and wrapping substantially covering the weight supporting portions of the endpieces. In addition to providing strength, the wrapping may also help hold the crosspieces and endpieces together. The endpieces are formed of a low density material, such as expanded polystyrene and the wrapping is formed of a medium to high density material such as kraft paper. The combination of the crosspieces formed of a low density material and the medium to high density wrapping material provides an optimum combination of strength and cushioning.

Abstract: A holder is provided for holding a pan or other article during the process of applying a coating, such as a non-stick release coating, to the article's surface. The pan holder includes a pan holding member for holding the pan in position on the pan holder, and a pan holder chuck attached to the pan holding member. The holding member may include a bottom support piece and a plurality of pan support rods extending from the bottom support piece. At least one of the support rods is preferably movable and biased in an inward radial direction for holding the pan in position against the other support roads. The movable support rod may also include therefor for engaging a handle stud extending from a pan. The pan holder chuck includes a downward extending shaft for mounting the pan holder on a conveyor chain in a chain-on-edge spray line, and a pulley adapted to be engaged by a drive belt for rotating the pan holder while a coating material is sprayed onto an article held by the pan holder.

Abstract: An extruded recording sensor mounting rail for keyboard operated musical instruments, particularly electronic player pianos, which can be used to install recording sensors in a new or existing piano. First and second flanges extend longitudinally along the front and rear of the mounting rail. A shelf is provided on the first flange, with the shelf configured for receiving and supporting one edge of a circuit board in a sensor assembly. The first flange includes a groove adapted to receive a threaded fastener for securing the edge of the circuit board onto the shelf. In the preferred embodiment, the second flange includes an inward facing lip which defines a flute configured for receiving and supporting the other edge of the circuit board. In the alternate embodiment, the second flange includes a shelf and a groove adapted to receive a threaded fastener for securing the other edge of the circuit board onto the shelf.
