Though the two slots have different widths and lengths, they both provide tapering sidewalls that overhang bottom portions of the associated slot, thereby adapting each slot to selectively engage a peripheral edge of a mobile electronic device between the tapering sidewalls and the overhanging bottom portions, and in turn enabling the propping of the mobile electronic device in the upright orientation. The pad is held fast to the display board by the cylindrical rod. The cylindrical rod slides up and down the housing, as needed, to accommodate the thickness of the pad.

Abstract: A highly adjustable and simple to use book holder for supine or seated readers is provided by pairs of legs joined near their tops by slotted brackets, which pairs of legs define vertical planes straddling the reader. A book tray defining a transverse plane extends between the vertical planes formed by the leg pairs. Its location changes as the leg coupling brackets are adjusted. The variable position of the upper ends of the legs due to the slotted brackets, the rotatable tray, and the variable angle between the legs of each pair permit the position and orientation of the book relative to the viewer to be adjusted at will. Abstract: A book holder utilizing an "L" shaped swinging-assembly as an adjustable support for the bottom of a book. The assembly can be swung out to adjust for thick books, and it automatically swings back to the correct position under the influence of gravity. A spring loaded page retainer presses the pages open, and the page retainer can be rotated down out of the path of the pages so that the pages can be turned. The page retainer stays down to allow for flipping through pages of a book.

Abstract: An appliance tilt stand for releasably supporting a washing machine or other appliance in a forwardly tilted, secure position during servicing, comprises a base configured to be disposed on a floor surface and slid underneath an appliance to a point determined by the abutment of a stop member on the base with the inside lower front frame of the appliance. The base also mounts, a spaced distance rearwardly of the stop member, an elongated, pivotal support arm mounting a hook arranged to engage and support the rear bottom frame of an appliance in a secure, elevated position above the base of the stand, the base supporting the front lower edge of the appliance when its rear end is being supported by the pivotal arm.

Abstract: A reading rable utilizes a pair of curved leg members to which is affixed a pair of upstanding posts. The posts are provided with an elongated notch having a plurality of circularly shaped openings therein. A flat sheet is utilized having a pair of outwardly extending shafts disposed residing in selected openings in the upright post. A locking nut-like apparatus is threadingly engaged with outwardly extending shafts so as to position the sheet at preferential angular locations relative to the longitudinal axis of the upstanding posts. The sheet is provided with a pair of adjustable arm mechanisms which are selectively positioned at locations along an upper marginal edge of the sheet and locked thereto by a telescopingly locking device utilizing a locking screw therefor. The adjustable arm mechanisms are provided with a pair of racks threadingly engaged with adjusting gears which dispose the racks along lines perpendicular to the plane of the sheet.

Abstract: An elevated tray display device comprises a base having upper and lower vertical posts joined in telescoping relation for adjustment of the height and rotational orientation of the upper post and a fastener for affixing the upper post at a selected height and selected rotational orientation. A projecting key-type lug near the top of the post is receivable in a selected one of multiplicity of holes in a tray-mounting plate. The holes are spaced apart along the plate and are in different orientations, thus permitting the plate to be mounted and fastened to the upper end of the post in a selected one of a multiplicity of orientations and locations relative to the post. A tray is mounted on the plate for adjustment of its position to a selected one of an infinite number of locations within spaced-apart limit positions along an axis transverse to the post.
