In one embodiment, the multi-position mounting system includes a notch disposed in the back surface of the wall panel, the notch having at least three edges, each edge defining a separate sidewall surface. The notch is configured to secure to a bracket affixed to the vertical wall, the bracket configured to separately mate with each sidewall surface of the notch, wherein mating the bracket with an adjacent sidewall surface of the notch slightly rotates the wall panel with respect to the vertical wall.

Once the desired mounting location of the object on the wall surface is determined, the user presses the proximal head of the marking strip against the wall surface and withdraws the object relative to the marking strip, leaving the marking strips attached to the wall surface. The distal end of the elongate body indicates the location for insertion of a fastener to mount the object at the desired mounting location.

    Abstract: A magnet-based frame mounting system comprises a frame plate that is magnetically attractive and a wall plate that is magnetically attractive. The frame plate has a first surface that mechanically mounts within a rear surface of a frame. Correspondingly, the wall plate has a first surface that mechanically mounts directly to a wall. When the frame plate is mounted to a corresponding frame, the wall plate is mounted to a corresponding wall, and the frame plate is magnetically coupled to the frame plate, the frame plate is concealed by the frame, the wall plate is concealed by the frame and the frame is repositionable in any direction parallel to the wall plate, without repositioning the wall plate, such that the frame stays at a set location based upon the magnetic coupling between the frame plate and the wall plate.

    Abstract: EZ-Mark Picture Hanging Marker consists of a head that has an adhesive coating on one side and a marking device, like a pin or marker on the other side. On the other side of the marking device is an encasement sleeve that protrudes further than the marker. The adhesive coating of the head is attached to the back of a picture frame or other object that needs hanging. Once the adhesive coating or other attachment mechanism is put in place, the frame may be moved along the wall into the desired location of hanging. The EZ-Hang Picture Hanging Marker user is then able to mark the desired location of where they would like to place their nail by pressing on the picture frame or hanging instrument. Only when significant force is applied to the picture frame, does a marking device protrude from EZ-Hang's encasement sleeve and mark the wall.
