Abstract: A covering (16) for an exterior rear view mirror assembly for motor vehicles includes a plurality of covering parts (17, 18, 19, 20) defining a contact point (24) between each of the plurality of covering parts (17, 18, 19, 20). At least one of the covering parts (17, 18, 19, 20) is provided in a two-component or multi-component injection molding procedure. A coating (25) of plastic forms an outer layer, which covers the covering parts (17, 18, 19, 20). The coating (25), being a light-resistant and transparent plastic, forms a high-gloss surface. One of the covering parts (17, 18, 19, 20) is void of the coating (25) at the contact point (24).

Abstract: A hanger and method for hanging is disclosed, the hanger for the purposes of hanging objects on substantially vertical surfaces such as walls, beams and posts. The hanger comprises a single-piece bracket of substantially flat suitable material. One portion of the bracket is attachable to the object to be hung using fasteners or other means and supports the weight of the object on support hardware using a concave support edge. The support edge is a tapered concave edge which may have a slotted center designed to fit typically used vertical support hardware (such as nails, screws of pegs) extending from a substantially vertical support surface such as a wall, beam or post. Another portion of the bracket extends away from the support edge and beyond the outer edge of the object to be hanged and includes a fastener opening for securing the alignment of the object relative to the vertical support using typical fasteners (such as nails or screws).

  • Patent number: 7950617
Abstract: A support device includes a support-receiving member, a sliding block, a support, and an elastic sheet. The support-receiving member defines a groove with one end thereof blocked to form a stop end and the other opened to form an exit end. The sliding block and the support are slidably juxtaposed in the groove from the stop end to the exit end and rotatably coupled. The support includes a contact portion extending away from an end near the sliding block. The elastic sheet is fixed to the support-receiving member at the exit end and extends a free end away from the exit end. The free end maintains contact with the contact portion during rotation of the support and presses the contact portion to pivot the support to be stopped by the support-receiving member, stationing the support at that position.

Abstract: A single or double post sign structure that is configured to accommodate the attachment of panels to one or both sides of a vertical upright. The sign panel is provided with keyed indentations that are located at the top and bottom edges of the panel to permit capture and rigid securement of the sign panel by a pair of retaining buttons that are used to anchor the sign panel to the sign post. Each retaining button is provided with protrusions corresponding to the keyed indentations of the sign panel. As a result, when the protrusion of the retaining button is engaged and seated in the keyed indentation of the sign panel, it becomes locked in place so that there is no room for lateral movement or removal of the panel. As a result, vandals or thieves are prevented from laterally sliding the sign panel to improperly remove it.
