  • Patent number: 7175151
Abstract: An anti-theft suspension device for screwdrivers or the alike is provided. The suspension device has a clamping member at the bottom of a suspension board. The clamping member has a hollow body with a tilted fixing plate installed inside. Both the hollow body and the fixing plate have openings allowing the tool to be inserted through. The tilted fixing plate is arranged so that the axis of its opening is not aligned with those of the clamping member's openings. When the tool is inserted through the openings, the friction between the tool and the fixing plate causes the axis of the fixing plate's opening to align with the openings of the clamping member and the tool thereby could be inserted easily. When the tool reaches its destination, a restoring force takes the fixing plate back to its original, tilted position and the tool is affixed to the fixing plate.

Abstract: A wall mount comer gun lock assembly having a wall mount bracket, a wall mount bracket cover, a barrel rest, and an open loop gun ring. The wall mount bracket is installed in the corner of a room by a plurality of lag bolts that pass through apertures in the wall mount bracket. The wall bracket cover nests within the wall mount bracket and prevents access to the heads of the lag bolts. One end of the open loop gun ring is inserted through aligned apertures on the respective ends of the wall mount bracket and the wall mount bracket cover and then slid through the aligned apertures of the trigger guards of the firearms to be locked up. An elongated sliding tubular member is slid onto the tip of the open loop gun ring and the sliding tubular member has a length sufficient to close the space between the spaced tips of the open loop gun ring. A keeper member releasably connects the tips of the open gun loop ring together.

  • Patent number: 6612140
Abstract: The invention is a lock for a gun that locks the trigger so it cannot be moved. The lock fits between the trigger and the trigger guard and keeps the trigger from moving. One of the unique features of the lock is that it can be locked both by a key and a padlock. The lock is comprised of two sections that in the preferred embodiment are made out of plastic which are attached together by a flexible strip of plastic and, thus, can be molded as a single piece. In approximately the middle of both sections is an opening. In this opening is placed the lock cylinder with a pin. From the end of the lock cylinder extends a loop with a sufficient size opening that a shackle of a padlock can be placed through it. To use the lock, one places the two sections together between the trigger and the trigger guard and then inserts the key into the lock cylinder and turns it. Once the pin falls in the proper location, the lock is securely held together between the trigger and trigger guard such that the trigger cannot be moved.

  • Patent number: 6592088
Abstract: A universal mounting mechanism for holding objects, such as electrical, medical, optical or audio/visual components needing secure physical connection to another surface in such a way that the mounted object can be easily and quickly installed and removed. It locks the object by providing surfaces on three planes that firmly engage the object so it does not move during transportation or when mounted on a fixed surface. It is low in profile so it does not obstruct the use of the items being held. The mount has no loose parts that can be lost during installation or removal of the mounted objects. Furthermore, the mount has the added feature of locking into either the open or closed position. Because the range of motion is limited, the top of the mount will not move into a position where it could be damaged or obstruct the use of adjacently mounted items.

Abstract: One or more horizontal brackets mounted to a surface provide support, positioning, and locking when one or more hanger bodies with adjustable hooks are attached to the back of a picture or other object so that the hooks grab onto the brackets. The brackets are beveled to provide space for the hooks between the surface and the bracket. The upward and downward facing hooks on the hangers move vertically along screws and hook onto the top and bottom of the horizontal brackets. The downward facing hooks that grab onto the top of the bracket provide support and horizontal positioning by sliding along the length of the bracket. They also position the picture to the desired height and make it level. The upward facing hooks that grab onto the bottom of the brackets lock the picture onto the brackets.
