Abstract: A display mount includes a vertical adjustment mechanism configured to be operatively coupled to a wall and a horizontal adjustment mechanism having a first end portion operatively coupled to the vertical adjustment mechanism and a second end portion that is configured to be operatively coupled to a display. With the vertical adjustment mechanism operatively coupled to the wall and with the display operatively coupled to the horizontal adjustment mechanism: the vertical adjustment mechanism is configured to lower and raise the display vertically parallel to the wall without the display moving substantially horizontally away from and toward the wall; and the horizontal adjustment mechanism is configured to extend and retract the display horizontally away from and toward the wall without the display moving substantially vertically parallel to the wall.

Abstract: A gravity compensation apparatus is provided, including a force output device, an axis and an arm with the axis as rotational center. The present invention is to output a force via the force output device to the arm when the arm contacts the force output device. When the arm rotates in the first or second quadrants, the contact point between the arm and the force output device will change continuously so that the force rotation speed of the force output device, the effective length of the lever arm and the force-applying angle will also change accordingly. Through appropriate design, the generated torque value can show a non-linearly increasing curve approximately to a sin function between 0-90°.
Abstract: A cognitive stimulating sterilizing device for providing visual, tactile and, or audible stimulation for infants while selectively sterilize select items and the surrounding ambient, including a housing adapted for removable connection to cribs, changing tables and similar furniture, ultraviolet light generating source in the housing for sanitizing items in the housing when closed and the ambient when opened, audio source and compartments for holding and storing select items. The housing may include reflective and, or transparent surfaces for directing, reflecting and, or passing ultraviolet light.
Abstract: An assembly for facilitating the recording of golf scores adapted to be secured to a golf bag or clothing of the scorer. The assembly includes holders for a pencil and a golf score card which are affixed to the distal ends of separate cords that can be retractably withdrawn from spring loaded storage reels.
Abstract: A writing instrument is attached to a cord that is itself retractable into a housing. The housing includes a spool connected to a spring. The retractable cord is connected to the spool, and the spool is adapted to wind the cord around it as a result of the spring being biased to turn the spool so the cord is wound around it. A mount connects the housing to a surface. The housing may have written indicia displaying on it. Further, the mount can be rotatably connected to the housing.
Abstract: A collapsible support frame is formed of an inner tube, an outer tube, and a plurality of support legs. The support legs are fastened to the inner tube and the outer tube. The inner tube is rotatably fitted into the outer tube. The folding and the unfolding of the support legs are attained by turning the inner tube an angle. The inner tube has a hollow interior for holding a Christmas tree, a flag pole, and the like.
Abstract: A base cover for a utility pole comprises a first base member and a second base member secured to one another to form a base unit to fit round the utility pole. The base unit has an opening at its upper end, the opening adapted to fit closely around the utility pole. A resilient gasket is formed adjacent the opening and is adapted to engage the pole and resist forced movement of the base unit up the pole. The gasket consists of two gasket members, one secured to each base member. The gasket member is a ring with a trunco-conical inner opening. The opening is narrowest at the top. The shape of the gasket allows sliding of the base unit down the utility pole, but resists sliding up the pole. The base unit is assembled at a convenient position along the pole, and slid down to its in-use position at ground level. The gasket prevents it from being lifted out of position without dismantling the two base members.
Abstract: A suspension mechanism for a manually manipulated power tool which, upon actuation of the power tool momentarily relieves the tension supporting the power tool and enables the power tool's weight to be utilized to augment the axial force required to perform work such as screwdriving, drilling and grinding. A sensor mechanism which is part of the invention may also be used to obtain similar benefits from prior art suspension mechanisms.
Abstract: An X-ray diagnostic device with a suspension mechanism for suspending an object in a vertically movable manner, using two suspension wires, which can avoid the shortened durability of the suspension wires, and using windup type springs, which can eliminate possibility for the fall of the suspended object due to the breaking of the windup type springs. The suspension mechanism may includes two suspension wires for holding the suspended object; and single threaded corn pulleys, one for each one of the two suspension wires, for winding the respective suspension wires. The suspension mechanism may also includes a plurality of windup type springs for balancing against gravitational force acting on the suspended object; connection between the plurality of windup type springs such that this connection moves when the plurality of windup type springs are put to be not balanced with respect to each other; and mechanism for preventing the fall of the suspended object by detecting motion of the connection.
Abstract: This invention relates to equipment assisting the discharge of particulate materials from intermediate bulk containers of the kind comprising an outer bag having an inner lining comprising frame members to which the upper end of the outer bag of an intermediate bulk container can be anchored, cord devices extendable against the action of resilient devices and adapted to be connected with the upper end of an inner liner to the outer bag, pulley devices for guiding the cord devices to the position of connection with the liner, a pivoted arm and devices for attaching the free end of the cord devices to the arm at a position spaced from its pivot, the arrangement being such that the arm can be swung to carry the free end of the cord means to a position for connection with the liner.
Abstract: There is disclosed apparatus for facilitating discharge of material from a bag having an inner liner. A cord is provided which can be extended from resilient return reel for connection with the top of the liner so that the liner is pulled as the bag empties.
