Each of the wall mounting members is selectively set, through rotation, at a retracted position or a wall-mountable position with respect to the corresponding raised rib. The wall mounting members provided on the backplane of the liquid crystal module are made in a foldable arrangement, whereby in packaging, the wall mounting members are rotated to a retracted position located inside the backplane and in an operation of assembling a complete device, the wall mounting members are expanded to a wall-mountable position for use.

One or more energy dissipaters, replaceably connected between the load bearing element and/or the foundation, absorb energy when a loading event causes relative movement of the connection. The engineered wood element may be a laminated veneer lumber element, a parallel strand lumber element, or a glue laminated timber element, for example. Typically all of the load bearing elements of the building will be engineered wood elements. The building may be single or multi-storey. The building system enables lightweight low cost buildings, with energy dissipaters which may be replaced after extreme loading. The building may be prefabricated.

The mounting apparatus may include a mounting plate having a generally planar body to which the machine component may be secured. An aperture in the machine frame wall may accommodate a support flange that may be affixed to the mounting plate and extend through the aperture for securement of the mounting plate to the isolation mount apparatus affixed to the other side of the wall. As such, the isolation mounting apparatus may be affixed to an exterior machine frame wall for protecting an interiorly positioned mounting plate, and particularly a machine component secured thereto, from potentially harmful forces, including vibrations.
