Abstract: In general the invention features a disk drive carrier and a method for inserting a disk drive into a peripheral bay chassis. The disk drive carrier includes a base for receiving a disk drive into and a latching mechanism that is rotatably attached to the base. The rotatably mount permits a lever to rotate between an open position and a closed position. The lever includes a lower engagement point and an upper engagement point. The disk drive carrier can additionally include a downwardly movable release tab attached to the upper engagement point facilitating release of the engagement point from a P-Bay chassis. The disk drive carrier can also include an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield to create a tight EMI seal in the front of a P-Bay chassis slot.

Abstract: A bracket having two parallel sides and an interconnecting crosspiece is attached to a disk drive or similar peripheral with the sides of the bracket extending longitudinally of the sides of the drive and the crosspiece extending across the front of the drive. A chassis of a computer or the like has internal parallel sides formed with horizontal guides to receive the bracket, a substantially open front face and an internal connector engageable with a mating connector on the rear of the drive when the bracket is fully inserted in the chassis. The sides of the bracket have features to protect the drive from horizontal and vertical vibrations. A handle is pivoted to the crosspiece near one end moveable between at least three positions: a first or latched position parallel to the crosspiece, a second position swinging out at about a 15° angle and a third position at about a 45° angle.

Abstract: A fishing rod holding device adhesively connectable to support surfaces such as an upright wall, a horizontal surface, and a portable fishing tackle box and a pair of the devices in combination with a fishing tackle box. The preferred device includes a generally flat base having first and second surfaces and structured to be mounted onto the support surface and an adhesive layer securely attached to the base first surface configured to securely attach the base onto the support surface. A resilient split annular-shaped band is formed as a unit with, or attached to, and extends from the base second surface. A first end of a first portion of the band is releasably engageable with a second end of a second portion to form a substantially closed ring by resilient closure movement of the first and second portions together. A resiliently compressible foam layer is conformingly attached to a substantial portion of an inner surface of the band.

Abstract: A device for holding toilet accessories, that is attached to a stand up tubular can such as shaving gel. The invention is a wide, plastic clip, having a generally “U” shape with two arms shaped to grasp the circumference surface of a stand up tubular can. The front of the clip is flat and includes a stub projecting inwards from its inside surface. This stub creates two equal spaces and edges for storing items such as a shaver and a toothbrush. Provision is made for placing a hotel logo or company advertisement on the front facing surface of the clip for distribution. The device can also include a bonding agent to fasten the holder to a vertical flat surface and will support a light, tubular can or other tubular shaped item for display.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder comprises a base for placement on a ground support surface and having an offset channel extending between first and second ends of the base. A first arm is pivotally mounted to the first end of the base between a first transport position within the channel and a second support position extending upwardly from the channel. A second arm is pivotally mounted to the second end of the base and is pivotal between a first transport position within the channel and a second support position extending upwardly from the channel. A cradle is attached to each of the first and second arms for supporting portions of the fishing rod when the first and second arms are in their second support positions. The offset base in the channel positions the first and second arms and cradles thereon in an over/under relationship within the confines of the base. Nubs within the base releasably engage notches in the cradles to maintain the arms at the transport and support positions.

In a second preferred embodiment, the device comprises first and second members hingingly attached to one another and mountable upon the dispenser mechanism of a can of shaving cream.

The first aperture (107) and the second aperture (111) are used with the belt clip (201) such that the clip may be secured within either the first aperture (107) or second aperture (111) for attachment to a user's body or other object. The attachment of the belt clip (201) is unique in that it can be bent without being disengaged from its associated aperture.

Abstract: This is a holster for suspending an instrument such as a portable telephone from the waistband belt of a user, or from another fixed object. The holster includes a flexible body member with a cinching strap projecting from one end thereof. One face of the cinching strap is covered with one patch of a mating pair of fabric fasteners. A cinching loop is affixed to the body, about a third of the way along its midlength and in transverse relation to the longitudinal axis thereof. A patch of mating fabric complementary to that on the cinching strap is disposed on the same face of the body as the cinching loop, but at the opposite end of the body from which the cinching strap projects. The opposed face of the body bears an instrument attachment loop. The cinching strap is adapted to be wrapped around a waistband belt or other fixed object, threaded through the cinching loop, and drawn tight, thus cinching the cinching strap constrictively around the waistband belt.

Abstract: A support bracket or camera tripod mount serves to support a camera tripod by attachment to a center post of the tripod and to allow the tripod with camera attached to be hung from a vertical structure such as a fence. The support bracket includes a crosspiece member which is approximately horizontal in use, first leg portions extending in parallel, perpendicular to the cross-piece member to first elbows. Intermediate leg portions are connected to each of the first elbows which may rotate relative to the first leg portions. Distal leg portions extend in parallel to the first leg portions and are fixed to ends of the intermediate leg portions through second elbows. A set screw fitting is provided in each of the first elbows for locking the intermediate leg and distal leg portions against rotation. A connecting member extends perpendicular from the cross-piece member to a post bracket for attachment to the center post of a camera tripod.

Advantageously, there will be a plurality of circular holding member semi-circular razor stem enclosures for holding multiple razors to the same cylindrical body. The present invention is also easy to manufacture and inexpensive.

Abstract: A transducer mounting system for permitting the remote pivotal actuation of an underwater signal transducer. The mounting bracket permits a wide variety of transducers to be mounted upon a conventional trolling motor and remotely actuated by an operator in the boat. Actuation of the bracket directs the transducer of a conventional fish locator or depth finder of the acoustic variety for locating fish or other objects therearound. By securing the bracket to the trolling motor, one axis of orientation of the transducer is automatically indicated by the orientation of the trolling motor. Concomitant angulation of the bracket and transducer affixed thereto will thereby permit the operator to precisely locate desired objects such as fish in the direction indicated by the trolling motor.

Abstract: A support and stabilizing apparatus for an electrical outlet box, such as a conventional electrical outlet box having a plurality of side walls and a back wall defining a chamber with an open front and having an access bore formed through at least one of the walls. The support and stabilizing apparatus comprises a stud apparatus having a shaft with forward and rearward opposed ends and generally cylindrical forward and rearward abutment plates secured to the shaft in predetermined spaced apart relationship. The rearward plate is disposed at the rearward end of the shaft, and the forward plate is disposed near and spaced inwardly from the forward end of the shaft so as to create a mounting segment between the forward plate and the forward end of the shaft. A flexible retainer is provided for supporting the mounting segment, to grippingly engage that portion of the mounting segment which projects into the outlet box chamber.
