The body portions when angularly rotated apart define an open position, and when rotated into direct contact defining an engaged position. An isolation portion is created of a resilient second polymeric material. The isolation portion includes isolation members connected to the body portions. The isolation members are positioned facing each other when the retention clip is in the engaged position. The isolation members frictionally contact and retain a tubular shaped member in the engaged position. A living hinge integrally connects the body portions allowing the body portions to rotate with respect to each other. The living hinge provides the only connection between the body portions as the body portions transition between the open position and the engaged position. A frangible connector initially integrally connects the first and second body portions only in the open position.

Each of the trays includes at least one low rail extending from the top surface thereof, and the remainder of the trays includes at least one high rail extending from the bottom surface thereof. A clip is secured to the frame for attachment to a bracket. The trays are depressed to open the pocket, enabling insertion of one or more cables therein or removal therefrom. The resiliency of the trays along with the low rails and high rails deform the cables to form slight bends therein to prevent side-to-side movement or slippage of the cables.

    Abstract: An anchor for lightning protection systems includes a base and pad that extend over a sufficient area and a sufficient bearing length to hold in shear and in tension against the weight, shear force, and moment of cables, points, and other components of a lightning protection systems. A universal point mount includes a head presenting greater cross sectional area and greater contact surface area than any other part of the mounting system. Drilled and tapped to receive a point oriented vertically, the head mounts easily on a horizontal or vertical mounting surface by receiving studs from a cleat plate (mandible) whose teeth capture the cable against a relief slot in the head. Apertures and studs provide rotating arbitrarily to any necessary orientation.
