Abstract: A a clip for mounting an elongated fuel rail with respect to an internal combustion engine. The fuel rail extends along a longitudinal axis and includes a mounting portion at an intermediate positon along the longitudinal axis, and the internal combustion engine includes a recess. The clip comprises a first portion adapted to engage the fuel rail, and a second portion adapted to be slidably received in the recess along a generally transverse axis with respect to the longitudinal axis. The first portion partially surrounds the longitudinal axis and is adapted to engage the mounting portion so as to prevent relative displacement along the longitudinal axis. The second portion is adapted to be releasably retained with respect to the recess.

Abstract: A method and device for enveloping and fixing a bundle of electrical cables. The bundle is inserted into a channel-shaped elongate shell (2) through a longitudinal entry aperture (4) the width of which, at rest, is less than the diameter of the bundle and can be increased by elastic deformation of the shell, the latter itself being inserted into an elongate housing (7) provided in the support, through a longitudinal entry aperture (8) the width of which is less than the outside diameter of the shell at rest. The assembly is particularly useful to support electrical power supplies and the transmission of electrical signals in a motor vehicle.

Abstract: A cable harness assembly is provided on a bicycle for guiding a disk brake control hose in accompaniment of the cable stoppers brazed on a bicycle frame. The cable harness assembly basically has a hose hanger, a hanger stopper, a stopper bushing and a hanger fixing bolt. The hose hanger includes a body portion of a first outer diameter or width and formed with a first axial bore therethrough, and a cable portion extending from the body portion. The hanger stopper of a second outer diameter or width is smaller than the first outer diameter or width. The hanger stopper is formed with a halting piece extending from the hanger stopper and a second axial bore therethrough. The stopper bushing is sandwiched between the hose hanger and the hanger stopper and formed with a third axial bore therethrough. The stopper bushing is made of a radially expandable material and has a third outer diameter or width being normally approximate to the second outer diameter or width.

Abstract: A clamp (10) is provided having a first half-annular part (20) and a second half-annular part (30) connected to the first half annular part (20) by a hinge. A flexible locking piece (21) projects from an open end of the first half-annular part (20). A through-hole (22) is located at an inner side of the first half-annular part (20). A locking bracket (B) which is located on a vehicle body is inserted into the through-hole (22). A second locking claw (21a) projects from the lower end of an outer surface of the locking piece (21). The second locking claw (21a) locks the first half annular (20) part and the second half annular (30) part together. A first locking claw (21b) projects from the upper end of an inner surface of the locking piece (21). The first locking claw (21b) locks into the locking bracket (B). The second half-annular part (30) has a box-shaped frame (31) at an open end thereof to accommodate the locking piece (21) and the locking bracket.

  • Patent number: 6644892
Abstract: A cable holder is deposited and fixed on an inner wall of a sewage pipe made of resin and supports an optical fiber for communication, which is passed through the pipe. The cable holder has a longitudinal section similar to that of an inverted pot and a narrowed inlet opening, and is provided with a pair of claws arranged in the axial direction of a pipe at its upper part. A cable holder driving device is raised in a state where the cable holder is heated and a pair of claws are pressure-fitted into the inner wall of the pipe. The pressure-fitting is carried out to such a degree that the cable fitted to and supported by the cable holder is brought into contact with the inner wall of the pipe. After the cable holder is cooled down and fixed, the cable passed through the pipe is pushed in the cable holder through its inlet opening.
