Abstract: A wellpoint assembly includes an elongated flexible header pipe which has a plurality of coupling joints formed therein for attaching well point assemblies. The flexible header pipe is stored on a reel so that it can be unreeled into a predetermined pattern for installing in a wellpoint system. An alignment tool allows the flexible header pipe to be aligned for attaching each wellpoint assembly. The flexible header pipe may be transparent and have saddle coupling joints which will accept either a saddle plug or a wellpoint assembly connection. A method of installing a well point system includes the steps of pulling a flexible header pipe from a reel; laying the flexible header pipe in a pattern for installing a wellpoint system; aligning the flexible header pipe for attaching wellpoint systems; removing the coupling plugs from wellpoint coupling members in the flexible header pipe; and attaching wellpoint assembly pipes.
Abstract: A pedestal apparatus is provided for supporting an oscillating type lawn sprayer having a parallel track base at a fixed height above a lawn. The apparatus is comprised of a post which can be driven into the ground, and support means associated with the upper extremity of the post. The support means comprises two elongated pivotably interconnected arms adapted to move horizontally in scissor-like juxtaposition. A spring under tension spans the arms to urge them together. Upraised gripping tabs mounted upon the extremities of the arms are adapted to engage the track base of the sprayer. A positionable clamp aligns a garden hose with the supported sprayer.
Abstract: A retaining structure for gutter downspouts, particularly a laterally extending downspout, comprising an elongated ground-engaging supporting member which carries at its upper end a laterally extending downspout-receiving member having means for restricting lateral movement of a downspout and a retaining member which is provided with means for restricting both upward and longitudinal movement of a supported downspout.
Abstract: A support assembly for a flat soaker hose comprising a spike insertable into the ground, said spike including mounting provisions at the top end thereof for receiving a clamp assembly at various angular dispositions. The clamp assembly is conformed to provide a plurality of cantilevered fingers disposed in staggered opposing alignment, the interior separation between fingers being dimensioned to provide a clamping fit about the soaker hose. One exterior surface of said clamp is furthermore joined to a mounting structure variously conformed for attachment to the upper end of said spike at various angular alignment. In a first embodiment the upper end of the spike is provided with a planar or rectangular cavity extending vertically downward along or parallel to the axis of the spike and the support structure is conformed as a planar member having a plurality of elongate, coplanar elements extending at various angular alignments therefrom each element being conformed for receipt in said cavity.

Abstract: A sprinkler comprises a nozzle attached at one end of an elongated member, an earth-penetrating element attached at the other end of the member, and a foot-step. The nozzle is attached to a passage in the elongated member through a fluid communication means and receives fluid transmitted to it through the passage from a fluid source. The element is attached to the member by two element portions receiving a section at one end of the member therebetween and interengaging parts, such as a projection - recess combination, on each of the element portions and the member section. Adjacent to each member interengaging part is a groove running between, and bounded by the element portions. The foot-step is secured by securing it to those parts of the element portions bounding the groove, with the securing means being received within the groove.
Abstract: Adjustable soaker hose support assemblies that are driven or forced into the earth in spaced relationship adjacent an area that is to be watered. When the assemblies are so disposed a soaker hose having a number of longitudinally spaced water discharge openings therein is removably secured to the assemblies. The assemblies so support the soaker hose, that both the hose and discharge openings therein may be manually adjusted to permit a first desired area of the earth to be watered and then subsequently other areas likewise watered, upon completion of the watering operation the soaker hose is easily separated from the assemblies, and the assemblies pulled from the earth and stored with the soaker hose until again needed. The assemblies are preferably formed by conventional molding operations from a high impact polymercized resin. The assemblies are of such structure that they may be easily supported in hard packed earth by being driven therein by hammer blows applied to the tops of the assemblies.
