  • Patent number: 5607129
Abstract: A luggage cart (10) is formed from two mirror image frame members (12) and (14), which are pivotally connected at (16) and (18). A soft shell fabric garment bag (20) is fastened to the frame members (12) and (14). Projections (24) extend into fold (26) of the garment bag (20) to support it in place on the frame members (12) and (14). A crossed flexible cable (42) is connected to the frame members (12) and (14) at (46) and (48) near the bottom of the frame members (12) and (14) by means of D-rings (49) and by means of tubes (51) near the top of the frame members (12) and (14) at front (50) and back (52) of the luggage cart (10). The cable 42 further is connected to a shoulder strap (56). In use of the luggage cart (10) and garment bag (20), the luggage cart (10) is opened by placing the luggage cart (10) on the ground and pressing down on the top of the garment bag (20) or on handles (40). • Patent number: 5540431
Abstract: A golfclub-case preferably employed in nature of a lighter carrybag embodiment, features a telescopically variable advantage; whereby the golfer is provided a more comfortably balanced effect during carry-modality, yet more convenient access during freestanding-modality. The special golfclub-case structure comprises two tubular sections freely sliding one inside the other, plus a shoulder-sling secured at one end to the upper opened-end of the golfclub-case, the oposite end down near the case's basecup. Thus when rested upon the base, the case telescopically-retracts about 4-inches, facilitating better upper-end access to shorter putter and wedge type clubs; yet-when lifted away for resumption of carrying, weight of golfclubs automatically re-extends case length, thus effectively shifting center-of-gravity more aft of one's shoulder than with a conventional case, thereby negating former aggravating tendancy of golfclubs to spill out forward as one moves about.

  • Patent number: 5487551
Abstract: The portable collection bag carrier has two tubular support posts removably mounted on a base board. A T-shaped bracket is mounted on each post. A vertical slot is formed at each end of the horizontal bar member of the T-shaped bracket. A slider member is slidably mounted on the vertical leg member of the T-shaped bracket, and a loop-shaped cable is mounted on the slider member. A collection bag may be removably mounted on the carrier by folding the top rim of the bag to wrap over the horizontal bar member of the T-shaped brackets, and placing the loop-shaped cable over the folded top rim of the bag to engage with the vertical slots. The cable is then tightened by sliding the slider member downwards to secure the bag in place. The base is also provided with a set of wheels and a tow rope to facilitate the carrier from being moved with ease around the work area for filling the bag.

Abstract: A foldable utility cart is disclosed having first and second pairs of support legs (4, 6) at opposite sides thereof. The support legs (4, 6) are pivotal coupled at mid-sections (14, 16) so as to selectively diverge and converge into free standing and storage positions. The mid-sections (14, 16) have incut channels (24, 38) transversely disposed to each other and which interfit to being the pivotally connected legs (4, 6) into a common plane. Internal side walls (26, 28, or 40, 42) defining the incut channel of one leg mid-section brace against the top and bottom surfaces of the opposite leg mid-section. The side walls (26, 28 or 40, 42) are angularly profiled to limit and lock the pivotal rotation of the opposite leg at the free standing and storage angular positions. A shelf (12) is further provided which breaks upward at its mid-section into half sections (56, 58) which overlap along the break to lock the shelf (12) in a horizontal configuration.
