Abstract: A vehicle interior board which is thin, lightweight, has high strength, has less degradation, peeling and the like near an end portion of a metal plate, and has high quality and excellent productivity; and a method for manufacturing the same. The vehicle interior board includes a pair of metal plates and a foamed polyurethane layer formed between the pair of metal plates. A projecting ridge projecting outwardly and extending in a predetermined direction along the outer surface is formed on an outer surface of the metal plate. Thus, it is possible to obtain desired strength and rigidity even when the metal plates or the foamed polyurethane layer are thinned or when a lightweight aluminum plate or the like is adopted as the metal plates. Therefore, it is possible to reduce weight of a vehicle interior board.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a novel lens system having an entrance pupil at a location matching, or nearly matching, the eye's optical system entrance pupil. The described lens system is significantly thinner than a single-aperture lens with matched entrance pupil and is achieved by using an array of camera elements. Each camera element contains camera optics called “lenslets” and a sensor (e.g., an image or depth sensor), where a lenslet can include one or more lens elements (e.g., a compound lens). Individual camera elements can be arranged such that THEIR optical axes intersect at, or near, the eye's entrance pupil location. In addition, each camera element's field-of-view (FOV) corresponds to a small sector of a large FOV. The FOVs of adjacent camera elements can be non- or slightly-overlapping so that a wide-angle image can be formed by concatenation of the individual camera element images.

  • Patent number: 11143585
Abstract: A photoelectrical device for detection of bacterial cell density includes a substrate, a driving electrode layer, an AC power source and a photoelectric conversion layer. The driving electrode layer is disposed on the substrate and includes a central electrode and a peripheral electrode pattern surrounding the central electrode. A fluid sample is disposed on the driving electrode layer. The AC power source is electrically connected to the driving electrode layer, and used to produce a non-uniform alternating electric field in the fluid sample on the driving electrode layer for driving the target bioparticles to gather up on the central electrode to form a particle cluster. The photoelectric conversion layer is used for receiving a light detecting beam after passing through the particle cluster and outputting an electric current based on the optical density of light detecting beam. The electric current changes as a concentration of the target bioparticles changes.

  • Patent number: 11137519
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to sampling a large volume of a cloud atmosphere so as to obtain a large signal response from even a sparse distribution of water droplets in the cloud atmosphere. Such a volume can be probed by projecting an uncollimated optical beam into the cloud atmosphere and sampling the signal backscattered from the water droplets located within the probed volume. The uncollimated optical beam can be generated by projecting a diverging pulse of light energy from a polished end of a first optical fiber. A second optical fiber can be used to receive the optical signal backscattered from the cloud atmosphere. The second optical fiber can also have substantially the same field of view as the first optical fiber, so as to receive signals from a volume of the cloud atmosphere that is substantially commensurate with the probed volume.

Abstract: An optical sensing circuit includes a first, a second, and a third optical sensing element and a sampling circuit. The first sensing element provides a first current from a first node to a second node according to an ambient light and a sensing signal. The second optical sensing element drains a second current from the second node to the first node according to the ambient light and the sensing signal. The third optical sensing element is coupled between the first node and the second node. The third optical sensing element receives a first color light, and transmits the first current to the second node or transmits the second current to the first node according to the first color light. The sampling circuit is turned on according to the sampling signal to output a detection signal based on the voltage level of the second node.
