Abstract: A valve island has at least one valve module and an adapter module, wherein the adapter module includes a first data line and a first voltage supply line, which each extend continuously from an interface on a first front side forming an outer side of the adapter module to an interface on a second side of the adapter module pointing into the valve island. In the adapter module a circuit unit is provided, which within the adapter module is connected to the first data line and/or the first voltage supply line and from which within the adapter module an internal data line and/or an internal voltage supply line proceeds or proceed, which each extends or extend to an interface on the second side of the adapter module.

Abstract: A valve closure system for rotating a rotatable actuator of a valve relative to a body of the valve to operate the valve from open to closed. The system contains a motor having a rotatable shaft, a mounting that comprises plural parts including a bracket, for associating the motor with the valve, and a coupling for coupling the motor shaft to the valve actuator to impart rotation of the motor shaft to the valve actuator to operate the valve closed. The bracket comprises a plate having a surface defining a notch that has a) an entrance at a perimeter of the plate and b) a shape enabling the plate to associate with the valve body by i) disposing the plate alongside the valve body with the notch entrance aligned with the valve body and ii) then moving the plate laterally of the valve actuator axis to cause of the valve body to pass through the notch entrance and enter the notch.

Abstract: A modular valve arrangement, including: a plurality of individual values each having a passage therein with a longitudinal axis, and a fixing arrangement for joining the valves together into a joined condition in which the passages cooperate to form at least one pressure-fluid line through the entire valve arrangement. The fixing arrangement includes, for each valve, a dovetail tenon on one surface of the valve and a dovetailed mortise on an opposite surface of the valve. The mortise and tenon of adjacent valves being engageable with one another in the joined condition, and extending on their respective valve side in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the pressure-fluid line. For securing the valves in the joined condition, each valve includes a nub on one surface and a corresponding depression on an opposite surface of the valve arranged so that the nub of one valve engages the depression of an adjacent valve in the joined condition.
Abstract: A fire hydrant locking arrangement which is intended for utilization on a conventional fire hydrant. Moreover, also disclosed is a method of producing a fire hydrant locking arrangement through a heat-meltable locking ring which will inhibit the unauthorized opening of fire hydrants while facilitating the ready servicing of the internal components of the fire hydrant.
