One or more compressible foam pads are positioned in the shield gap between the bollard and the bollard shield. A resilient bollard sheath can be rolled onto the bollard shield. The bollard sheath includes advertising or graphical materials disposed thereon. The bollard sheath is generally replaceable without replacing the entire bollard shield. A removable sheath panel may be detachably secured on the bollard sheath to provide additional advertising or graphical material. The sheath panel may be interchangeably and replaced with additional sheath panels having different advertising information.

    Abstract: A freestanding fence supported on x-shaped posts or x-posts that sit on top of the ground. Two tubes are welded together at approximately a 55 degree angle to form each x-post. The legs of the x-posts are provided with adjustable length feet and with receivers for holding electrical or non-electrical fence wires. Universal joints secure horizontal members between adjacent x-posts. The universal joints secure to a pair of ears proved on each leg of the x-posts. An adjustable height footed vertical support member can be installed on each horizontal member approximately midway between the adjacent x-posts. The fence is constructed of easily transported and assembled pieces that can be disassembled, moved, and then reassembled as often as needed. Once assembled, the fence is strong and stable and can be used to mount various types of equipment such as lighting, security, camera, motion detection, solar panels, radio frequency identification devices, etc.

    Abstract: Devices and methods for supporting guardrail terminal installations that incorporate safety end treatments such as the GET and the SRT. Preferred embodiments are described wherein guardrail terminal installations are primarily anchored to the ground using weak support posts that are preferably made of metal. The ends of the guardrail installation are secured to the ground using breakaway posts. In operation, the weak posts permit the central portion of the guardrail installation to contain and redirect the vehicle during a lateral collision to the rail member. The anchorage provided by the breakaway end posts helps prevent the guardrail from being excessively displaced, thus preventing the impacting vehicle from breaking through the guardrail. In operation, guardrail terminal assemblies constructed in accordance with the present invention provide an improved support system for the rail member which is more forgiving than conventional strong post anchorages, thereby providing an improvement in safety.
