Abstract: A security barrier system (1) and a bracket (2a, 2b) therefor are disclosed. The bracket comprises at least one each of a first type and a second type of mutually spaced fence member receiving channels (8a,8b,10a-10f), the or each channel of the second type (8a, 8b) having a greater width than the or each channel of the first type (10a-10f), as measured along a length of the bracket. The security barrier system comprises a plurality of support posts (4), attached to each support post is at least one bracket, the length of the bracket orientated vertically, and a plurality of fence members (12a-12h) orientated horizontally, each member passing through a corresponding one of the fence member receiving channels of each bracket.

Abstract: A barrier cable anchor rail assembly is disclosed. The assembly is adapted to be encapsulated in a concrete column and engage a plurality of cables to provide a barrier between successive columns of concrete. The assembly includes a first rail member and a plurality of threaded connectors. The threaded connectors are adapted to be engaged by a chuck that includes cable grippers adapted to engage one of the cables. The threaded connectors can be attached to the first rail member in the same orientation with a predetermined spacing between the central axis of the plurality of threaded connectors. The first rail member maintains the orientation and predetermined spacing of the threaded connectors and provides support to the concrete column in which it is encapsulated. A barrier cable assembly adapted to form a barrier between a first concrete column and a second concrete column is also disclosed.
Abstract: This invention relates generally to a concrete fence post having plastic insert members cast therein at desired locations. The plastic insert members accommodate traditional fasteners such as fencing staples or nails and thereby provide a quick and easy means for attaching barbed wire and the like to the concrete post.
Abstract: A fence post is provided and consists of a plurality of relatively short transverse pins longitudinally spaced and secured within a reinforced concrete body portion to project from a curved face of the body portion whereby each pin has a head portion outside of the body portion defining a space therebetween for a fencing wire to sit upon to be secured to the body portion.
Abstract: A composite fence post is specifically shaped to reduce splitting and shearing and has a driver cap thereon to be driven by an elongate driver tool that encircles the post and that has an interior projection to cooperate with flanges of the post in properly positioning the post as it is driven.
Abstract: An improved fence post fabricated from suitable plastic material and arranged in a tubular configuration having a plurality of pins outwardly extending at right angles to each other from the lower portion of the post and a plurality of holes spaced vertically from each other to receive clips, bolts or other devices for securing strands of wire in the upper portions. The post is fabricated from a plastic material having suitable strength dielectric and fire retardant characteristics. The side wall of the post can be formed with longitudinal strengthening ribs or flanges and/or the interior filled with at least a semi-rigid or rigid foam to impart additional strength.
