    Abstract: A vinyl fence rail remover for use where the rail is held in the fence post via tabs cut into the rail and rail tabs must be depressed to remove the rail from the hole cut into the fence post. The fence remover has a handle/tube on a first end, a metal “U” shape section, a straight section, and a tapered second, opposing end from the handle/tube. The handle/tube is as long as necessary to reach the bottom rail through the inside of the fence post. The “U” shaped middle piece is ? inch to ¼ inch smaller than the exact size of the fence rail. The open end of straight section extending from the “U” shaped section is tapered or bent outward to allow it to slip over the tabs of a fence rail as the device is driven over the rail inside the fence post.

An internal piece can be slidably received in the elongate opening and coupled to the lower slip sleeve. In addition, an upper slip sleeve can be coupled to an exterior of the internal piece such that the upper slip sleeve is not movable relative to the internal piece. Further, a mount plate can be slidably coupled to an exterior of the upper slip sleeve and mounted to a top of the frame. Finally, a stanchion can be slidably received in the upper elongate opening and coupled to the upper slip sleeve.

Each position strip has an upright wall to contact with each upright tube and fixed together with a screw. Each of the two sides has a lower support ridge and an upper stopper on an inner wall, with the distance between each upper stopper and each lower support ridge being equal to the height of the upright wall of the position strip. Each position strip is fixed on an outer surface of each upright tube with a screw and in the space between the upper stopper and the lower support ridge, with each lateral tube hiding each screw and each position strip to beautify a fence formed by the lateral and the upright tubes.
