Abstract: This disclosure is related with propeller noise and cavitation abatement in applications like propulsion, ventilation, pumping or turbine systems on fluids by novel techniques that allows stronger propellers with improved laminar flow by means of a propeller which consists on a rotating cylindrical block or a truncated substantially conical block with one or more tunnels around it rotational axis, said block also may have flow-guiding structures at both ends that help to keep the fluid's laminar flow when it is mixing fluids with its environment, having the rotating block tunnels with either substantially circular shaped cross-section or variable shape cross-section from substantially circular to irregular oval measured in perpendicular plane to the rotational axis whereby it smoothly accelerates fluid or gas by means of either centrifugal or axial movement, also including Dynamic Balance or Imbalance or Torque Modulation Means that modulate specific vibrations which generates sound waves.
Abstract: An automated frothing assembly. The automated frothing assembly has a wand module that includes an elongate member having an inlet, one or more outlets, and a fluid passageway extending between and in fluid communication with the inlet and the plurality of outlets. At least one of the one or more outlets extends parallel to a vertical plane that includes the centerline of the elongate member and at an acute angle relative to a horizontal plane that is perpendicular to both the vertical plane and the centerline of the elongate member. The assembly further includes an actuator configured to be operatively coupled to the wand module and to drive the movement of at least a portion of the wand module along an axis, and an electronic controller configured to be electrically coupled to the actuator and to control the operation of the actuator to control the movement of the wand module.

Abstract: A continuous process of manufacturing black powder and black powder substitute using a twin screw extruder is disclosed. Guar gum mixed with the composition at a concentration in the range from 0.05% to 0.5%, by weight, dramatically reduced the friction in the dies and permitted extrusion of the powder at much lower water levels. Different size dies used in combination with face cutting of the extruded strands produce various sized granules. The process can be operated remotely and automatically. The process reduces the number of buildings, equipment and personnel required to manufacture black powder or black powder substitute. The process produces more uniform and reproducible particle sizes.
