  • Patent number: 10486114
Abstract: A method for producing stabilized, gas-infused liquids containing ultra high concentrations of infused gas, includes steps of: generating a gas-infused liquid in a sealed vessel under a high pressure of at least 20 psi; stabilizing the gas-infused liquid by passing the liquid while still under the high pressure through a tubular flow path arrangement which compresses the infused gas into nano bubbles in the liquid; infusing an additional amount of the gas into the stabilized liquid by injecting the same, while still under high pressure, back into the sealed pressure vessel along with more of the gas; and again stabilizing the liquid by again passing liquid, while still under the high pressure, through the tubular flow path arrangement to thereby form the additional amount of infused gas into nano bubbles in the liquid.

  • Patent number: 9527046
Abstract: A system for generating liquid which is stably infused with gas, including a pressurized gas source, a pressurized liquid source, an enclosed vessel into which the pressurized gas and pressurized liquid are injected such that the gas becomes infused into the liquid so as to generate a gas-infused liquid and a fluid path into which the gas-infused fluid flows after being discharged from the vessel, wherein the fluid path includes multiple radially bent sections and multiple substantially straight section fixed in a three dimensional (3D) arrangement such that the when the gas-infused carrier fluid flows through the fluid path it is pressed inwardly of the 3D arrangement from multiple different directions to effect a multi-dense, orbital or spherical compaction of elements of the gas-infused liquid thereby forming the infused gas into nanobubbles in the gas-infused liquid.

  • Publication number: 20140349379
Abstract: A method and apparatus for dispersing and entraining and controlling the residence time, absorption and release of gas bubbles or particles in a fluid without losing gas utilization efficiency from escaping surface gas events. A mechanical, rotating plurality of hollowed blades that induce both an axial and radial controlled circulatory flow and provide a means of gas introduction into the discharge flow that has a conical helical, axial and radial outward flow from the axis of rotation and allows entrained gas bubbles to be trapped as particles and recirculated by means of a circulatory flow back into the intake vortex of said mechanical, rotating plurality of blades. The flow is characterized by a forced intake vortex caused by a low pressure zone with a radial component, and subsequent axial component drawing fluid in a circular fashion toward the eye of the rotating device and impelling fluid.

  • Publication number: 20140246792
Abstract: The invention captures harvestable mechanical energy, e.g., in the form of wind or moving water, and uses it for electrical generation or other work. In various embodiments a turbine is used to pressurize a fluid, and the pressurized fluid is then optionally stored and then used to drive an electric generator. Because the pressurized fluid can be stored in a pressurized state indefinitely, the invention provides a straightforward way to accumulate the mechanical energy until it is needed. Additionally, the invention allows portions of the system, e.g., a pressure vessel or generator, to be located away from the turbine, reducing the costs of deploying and maintaining the system.

  • Publication number: 20130208557
Abstract: A method and apparatus for injecting a gas into a liquid in which a rotating helical impeller within a draft tube submerged in the liquid creates a liquid flow within the draft tube. Gas bubbles are injected into the draft tube either above or below or alongside the helical impeller or in all three locations. The liquid is drawn into the draft tube with a superficial velocity greater than a substantially uniform terminal ascent velocity of the gas bubbles to allow entrainment of undissolved gas bubbles in the bulk liquid into the liquid being drawn into the draft tube. The gas bubbles are injected with a uniform diameter of between about 10.0 microns and about 1.0 millimeters. The small bubble size enhances the dissolution of the gas into the liquid and also allow the entrainment of the gas into the liquid being drawn into the draft tube.

  • Publication number: 20130113123
Abstract: An evaporative humidifier includes a humidifying element having water pockets drawing water up from a tub and then supplying the water to the upper portion of the humidifying element. The water pockets are formed between first and second covers. A first water pocket formation unit is provided on the first cover, a second water pocket formation unit is provided on the second cover, and the first and second water pocket formation units form the water pockets when the first and second covers are coupled. Therefore, the water pockets are formed through molds having a simple structure, as compared to the conventional water pocket, and thus manufacturing costs of the humidifying element assembly are reduced. Further, each water pocket includes plural sub water pockets formed at both sides of an inflow hole formed at the center of each water pocket, and thus carries a large amount of water.
