Longitudinally Movable Air Or Mixture Valve Patents (Class 261/44.5)
  • Patent number: 11641021
Abstract: A humidifier for a fuel cell includes: a housing that includes a moist air supply port through which moist air is supplied, a moist air discharge port through which the moist air is discharged, and an inflow gas supply port through which inflow gas is supplied; a humidification unit provided in the housing to humidify the inflow gas by using the moist air; and a humidification amount adjusting unit to selectively adjust an amount of humidification of the inflow gas by the humidification unit based on a flow rate of the moist air supplied to the moist air supply port, thereby obtaining an advantageous effect of accurately adjusting the amount of humidification based on an operating condition of a fuel cell stack.

  • Patent number: 9541033
Abstract: A gaseous fuel and air mixing venturi device is adapted for installation in a gaseous fuel carburetor and has a venturi body defining annular inner and outer venturi passageways which each have a throat of reduced cross-sectional area and have inlet ends in communication with an air inlet of the carburetor. A fuel inlet is configured for connection to a fuel port of the carburetor, and communicates with a plurality of fuel supply ports in the body communicating radially with the inner and outer venturi passages to mix with the air flowing in the passageways.

  • Patent number: 7128059
Abstract: A device comprising an air intake duct and at least one passive one-way air intake valve disposed in the air intake duct. There is also an actuator coupled to the one-way valve for biasing the one-way valve in a closed position. During operation, the one-way air intake valve is opened via an air induction force created by operation of an internal combustion engine positioned downstream from the actuator. This one-way air intake valve is closed after the internal combustion engine has stopped operating to prevent emissions of evaporated hydrocarbons from the engine through the air induction system. The valve can also be moved into a fail-safe position if the actuator fails but the engine is operating.

  • Patent number: 6827339
Abstract: A variable venturi-type carburetor has a base defining a central channel having an upper inlet end and a lower outlet end. A variable venturi assembly is situated in the middle of the central channel. The variable venturi assembly has a support, a conical body, and a resilient member. The support is fixed in the base, the bottom of the conical body is movably connected to the support, the surface of the conical body and the base define a venturi throat and the resilient member is situated between the support and the conical body. A fuel reservoir is provided in the base. A path structure connects the fuel reservoir and the venturi throat. A cam control mechanism is also part of the venturi assembly.

  • Patent number: 6752387
Abstract: A method of gasifying a liquid material that is entrained with a carrier gas includes mixing liquid material with a carrier gas in a control valve that can be heated. The gas-liquid mixture is maintain at a first pressure level that is sufficiently higher than the pressure level downstream of a nozzle in the valve to thereby provide a total gasification of the gas-liquid mixture. The control valve can position the liquid in a reservoir radially outward from a valve seat and an elongated mixing chamber can be positioned within the valve seat and connected to both a carrier gas and the release nozzle.

  • Patent number: 6264175
Abstract: The present invention provides an automatic adjustment carburetor capable of offering fuel economy and low pollution, wherein an automatic adjustment air-blocking device and a gas enrichment device are appended in the intake passage of the carburetor. The air-blocking device is disposed in the intake passage in front of a throttle having a fuel needle. The middle section of the intake passage forms a room having a neck. A venturi tubular front part of expanding arc shape was formed extendedly forward from the neck in the intake passage. A rear part of pot belly shape was formed extendedly backward from the neck in the intake passage. An annular groove at the outer end of the intake passage joins an intake annular seat. A positioning shaft has a plurality of positioning grooves installed near two ends thereof. One positioning groove on each end of the positioning shaft joins a locking spring.
