    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for obtaining high-tenacity aramid yarn, wherein the yarn is made of a copolymer obtained from a mixture of monomers comprising DAPBI, an aromatic para-diamine, and an aromatic para-diacid, wherein the yarn is heated in at least two process steps, characterized in that in a first step the yarn is heated at a temperature of 200 to 360° C. at a tension of at least 0.2 cN/dtex, followed by a second step wherein the yarn is heated at a temperature of 370 to 500° C. at a tension of less than 1 cN/dtex. The invention further pertains to a multifilament aramid yarn spun from a sulfuric acid spin dope and having a tenacity of at least 2500 mN/tex.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a foamed film for shrink labels which is capable of being accommodated by the new continuous attachment system for shrink labels, and in which a long foamed film for shrink labels is wound around the body of a container, and is cut at the inner-position where the film overlaps, after which the two ends of the resulting film unit are joined together to form a cylindrical shape, and this is subsequently heated to cause heat shrinkage of the film and to produce the label.     Abstract: A rear end portion of a leading TAC film and a front end portion of a following TAC film are connected using a double-sided adhesive tape and acetone, in order to stretch the TAC films continuously in a tenter. The double-sided adhesive tape is constituted of a base whose material is same as the TAC film and an adhesive layer coated on both surfaces of the base. Acetone is one of solvents used for preparing a dope in the TAC film production. The double-sided adhesive tape is firstly stuck on an upper surface of the rear end portion of the leading TAC film. The wet film is guided through a transfer area toward a tenter drying device. In the tenter drying device, a tenter performs sequentially the drying, the stretching and the relaxation of the wet film during transporting the wet film.
