Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide: a thermoplastic elastomer composition, which is accompanied by less environmental burden, and which has flexibility, rubber elasticity, formability and recyclability; and a molded product obtained using the same. The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) derived from a non-petroleum source, and at least one rubber (B) selected from a natural rubber, a diene polymer rubber, an olefin polymer rubber, an acrylic rubber and a silicone rubber, the thermoplastic elastomer composition being obtained by allowing the rubber (B) to be dynamically crosslinked with a crosslinking agent (C) in the presence of the thermoplastic resin (A). Preferred (A) is a polylactic acid, or a poly(3-hydroxybutyrate), and preferred (B) is a natural rubber.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments concern a curved structural part composed of a composite material with reinforced, continuous fibers whose cross section includes at least two wings, with said fibers extending from one wing to the other, with said structural part having a variation in the width of its section parallel to the local radius of curvature. The structural element that results from assembling the parts in the disclosed embodiments therefore has local widening of the section at the connections between the parts constituting a structural element, such as an aircraft fuselage frame, and widening at the connection with the floor profiles, if such a profile is used to make an aircraft fuselage structure. The disclosed embodiments also concern a process for manufacturing such a part, as well as a device for advantageously implementing such a process.

Abstract: A method of providing a fine line adhesive bond and/or seal or gasket and/or lined channel, and in particular a fine line bonding seal, between a first (14) and a second ply (16), especially of dissimilar materials, comprises the steps of: fabricating a microscale recess in at least a first ply; lidding the first ply with a second ply such that the recess or recesses in the ply or plies form a fluidly continuous channel (12), —urging curable material into this channel so as to substantially fill the channel with curable material, and in particular urging the material via an inlet (17) into a fluidly continuous channel until it emerges from an outlet (18) remote therefrom; curing the curable material in situ. A system for implementing the method and the bonded and/or sealed and/or lined product of such method are also described.
